HOUSTON BULLS PRESSER! Hello and welcome fellow Bulls to this weeks presser! I am hoping to get to know you and your players and what your thoughts are on the season as we go! Be sure to give me more than couple word answers as I love to read and also appease our updater overlords! Answer three questions for 1 capped TPE or all six for 2 capped TPE! For the Week Ending Feb 19th, here are your questions! 1. We made it halfway through the season! For the second half, are there any changes you think we should make? 2. What stat are you most surprised about with your player at this point? 3. Trade deadline is approaching, do you think any teams will make big moves? 4. Are there any point tasks you want to do but don't know how to get started? 5. What VHL logo out of all the leagues is your favorite? 6. Where would you like to take a vacation to? Let's Go Bulls!

I will have to bother you when my player is coming close to depreciation and get some advice on it. It will likely be the end of graphics for me but the beginning of just writing to maintain my player. Focusing more on being an AGM somewhere if my time in Houston ends. Maybe make graphics for whatever team I am an AGM with? Hopefully I feel like the challenge of depreciation is worth it when it arrives but at this point, it sounds like I am going to need a lot of distraction to keep myself interested until my player is interesting enough to focus on again.

I am glad to see you still active in all the right places! I've tried in general chat but it seems pretty dominated by disjointed conversations and a few, VERY active members. I gotta be honest, the end of a players career and the fight against depreciation sounds not fun at all. I feel like it should be a momentous occasion; a celebration of your dedication to the league and the teams you've played for but it looks like number crunching and a very unceremonious death. If you were someone with a mid player who didn't have much of a chance of breaking records or winning a championship the urge to retire before depreciation and recreate would be overwhelming I'd imagine.

In Houston we have been awarding the player of the day with a Flaming Bull Award. I have created one for every player on our team and it is posted in the locker room to get everyone pumped up and to highlight their stats for the day. As waivers were picked up, I made sure to make new ones for the new players as well. Something simple but fun! Showcased here are the Captain and the Assistant Captains.

Negotiations can be hard. Some players want more than others and sometimes those demands can get a little weighty. This off-season, Houston, among other teams, were in talks with a well know VHLM player. After @AJW and I chatted with this players Agent it was concluded that a Mandalay Bay and a statue of this player would need to be constructed in Houston. As the AGM of Houston I jumped right into talks with the city about a commercial zoning permit and a location for the Mandalay Bay to be constructed. I also reached out to a very prominent, local sculptor to get started on the statue. Before talks had concluded, a show of good faith was sent to show our commitment. A piece of the gold statue that had been already sculpted. Who could say no when all their demands had been agreed to and were already in progress... It seems, in the end, that this player was going to go elsewhere to play with a friend. One could assume that this plan was long in place and that negotiations were futile from the beginning, but that would be speculation. With a sculpt already being worked on we had to pivot. In the end, something magnificent was created and was placed on the front steps of the Houston Arena. It's plaque reads: "HOUSTON BULLS ARENA Depicted here is the GM of the Houston Bulls, AJ, standing tall and working for his team against those who would negotiate poorly with him. MESS WITH THE BULL GET THE HORNS" 4k at 50fps

1. Mikhail Kovalchuk. Don't know why really, maybe he runs with a bad crowd. Hangs out with that Bana guy too much! Maybe a bar brawl or urinating in public? 2. Knowing that I will build Leonard Triller however I want and ignore all advice, where do you desperately want me to place my TPE when I graduate to the VHL next season! 3. Broken big toe because after moving into a new house he isn't quite used to the layout and managed to smash his toe into the door frame going into the master bathroom to take a night time wizz! 4. Jesse Teno. Goalies are always weird and I would want to know what kind of weird the United goalie is! Would be a fun hang I imagine. 5. Surprisingly enough, London! My wife had planned a honeymoon trip to the UK and COVID killed those plans. We have had a baby since then and are not looking to travel any time soon with her but I know my wife definitely wants to get to the UK at some point. Myself, not so much but that wouldn't be the point. 6. I would have to say that pineapple does not belong on pizza but that is coming from someone who really enjoys ketchup on rice so I can't really say much about it.

Phili and S'toon look to be the teams that will miss the playoffs but Halifax and Vegas are right behind us. Are you worried about either team? 3. Do you pay much attention to the other leagues or just the VHLM? 4. What was the most confusing aspect of the VHL when you joined? 5. Did you watch any of the NHL All Star events? 6. Do you watch cable, streaming or youtube more and why? Let's Go Bulls!

Good job on this! It is a nice change of pace from a lot of dark and gritty graphics that usually go up! Very nice! It's tough working with that Marlins logo lol it is so long!

Lol gees! I didn't know you were gonna ask them! lol My suggestion was just a nonsense one. Like a Mad Max league where it is just for our viewing pleasure and gambling! lol Good podcast though! Very interesting to hear what goes on on the inside though. Good listen!

So thanks to @Dom, Leonard Triller was selected to represent Team Canada at the WJC in the off-season! It was a great surprise and I had a ton of fun in the locker room as Canada ended up with a Silver medal. With Triller being capped at 400 playing in the E, maybe he can represent again! This was my take on a Team Canada Jersey. I put the logo together and wanted to give it a new, old school vibe by mixing together the faded gold and the black. Almost make it look like it would live nicely on a case of beer or something. Same king of setup as the Team Europe jersey I did. 4K at 50fps on youtube.

Leonard Triller was selected to Team Canada in the off-season so I wanted to put together my own take on the Team Canada Logo.

1. So far Leonard is above a PPG which is usually how he starts a season. Hopefully he keeps it up but the past two seasons had him drop below. Much different player now though with all that new TPE! 2. I expect you all to go 3-1 vs Vancouver. Too good of a team to sweep but the United are looking strong! 3. I think there may be some slight changes as players establish themselves more throughout the season. Depending on standings, there may be experimentation before playoffs as well. 4. A media spot where he writes love letters to each player about how amazing they were this season and how much they mean to him. Descriptive details about watching them play and working with them overall. 5. He is on pace to crush his previous seasons and though it is early, I think he will! He made big changes so it will be fun to see the results. 6. I'm going to guess 57 goals, 102 points! You got this! I'm hoping Leonard maintains a PPG and gets at least 40 assists. He is a playmaker.
