  1. The bad blood definitely spilled over in this one. Tough battle and Calgary showed that we can win these games!
  2. Seriously, should've gotten first star IMO. Wranglers wranglin' though.
  3. Well done boys, we needed this one in a big way.
  4. That would explain the lack of fights... they're scared.
  5. Just channeling my inner-Encarnacion.
  6. I put points into fighting expecting to get into a bunch of fights, but halfway through the season and none. STHS has a different plan for Kowalski.
  7. From Goon To Top Pick? OSLO - By no means has Oslo Storm defenseman Jack Kowalski set the VHLM on fire. Through 37 games, he has 31 points, 101 hits and 63 shots blocked. However, widespread belief that he would become a mindless goon that existed only to fight and make cheap shots has proven to be untrue, for Kowalski has shown to be developing into a reliable and defensively stout player with a legitimate future in the Victory Hockey League. With goalie and teammate Niklaus Mikaelson the clear cut #1 prospect in the Season 41 VHL Entry Draft, many were shocked to discover that Kowalski comes in at #2 on the VHL Entry Draft Rankings. "It's definitely something few people saw coming," said Doomsday Agency representative John Gordon. "Mikaelson is the top Season 41 prospect, but depending on how the lottery plays out, a team that doesn't need a goalie could end up with the top pick. If a trade can't be worked out, Kowalski is the runaway choice for the first overall pick and I can guarantee that absolutely nobody could have predicted that happening before Jack made it to the VHLM." With Kowalski's progress and documented stance against sandbagging to remain in the VHLM, it is safe to say that when his name is called on draft day, he will be heading to the VHL to play the duration of his career eligibility in the pros. Whether he will do so as the first or second overall pick is yet to be seen. Jethro Novacek is a contributor to the MSFL Times, forever teaching children how to do the Ty Summers. 8. Don't worry, you'll dominate where it really matters.
  9. That shorty was a damn killer though. Either way, taking a point from this counts for something.
  10. Rinaldo hits Crosby. Downie goes after Rinaldo. Downie gets owned by Rinaldo.
  11. Happy Homecoming For Landry DAVOS - After a shot from Thomas Landry found its way into the net several nights ago at the Zurich Center, it was met with plenty of applause. Fans stood up and cheered while the aging forward celebrated taking a 1-0 lead with his teammates. However, there was no goal horn. The arena did not erupt into pandemonium and there was most definitely no playing of Brass Bonanza, for Landry was playing for the opposing Calgary Wranglers this time around. "It was weird coming back in a different sweater," said Landry following the Wranglers' 3-1 win over the HC Dynamo, in which Landry was named the game's first star. "But it still felt like home just the same. The fans were great, I got a great ovation when I got back onto the ice and I definitely got choked up a little to see how much my career with Davos means to them." Landry continues to have a solid season with 36 points in 33 games and continues his assault on Tukka Reikkinen's single season hits record with 192 hits thus far. Calgary currently sits in third place in the North American Conference. Jethro Novacek is a contributor to the MSFL Times, the worldwide leader in fantastic goings-on. 12. Such a disappointing post to read.
  13. Tordahl was a good player indeed, but he didn't hit his practically demigod levels of production until his fifth year in S37. Wolf still has time to match that if he's continuing on the same pace.
  14. I like the pogs. I always got one from my bowling coach after a good game.
  15. Is that the one where you shoot tops at each other?
  16. I didn't know you kids still played that Yugi-Oh, that's cool.
  17. One of those games you just need to forget and move on from. Ouch.
  18. First Star on his first night back home.
  19. Encarnacion would be proud of a game like that!
  20. Landry loves to fight but is absolutely terrible at it.
  21. Will be at the 150th Cedar Creek 10/18 - 10/19. Cell phones don't exist there so I'll see y'all Sunday night!
  22. Encarnacion for clutch lately. #CriticalPIMS
