  1. Nice media spot, I am upset with my player Eric White Jr rn as he is not living up to his potential. But valid reason is there is so much other talent that it will be very hard to get a ton of points
  2. 1. I think that they are in the top 3 give them a few weeks and they will be #1. 2. He was having fun but that is a bad sight to see. 3. D.C. should focus on stuff more local. 4. I think it is a bit high I think they will be 6th in the NA conference. 5. I think that they are wrong Ketia Kourou is very talented and if they weren't talented then why would the be in the VHL. 6. That confidence does inspire the whole LR to perform better.
  3. 1. In the M with the Marlins I predict I will get 82 points. 2. I think it will be Vastras. 3. I feel like you are ready to go back to back. 4. I can't add any tpa I can only earn this season. 5. I like to go bowling. 6. Henry is the best dog in the VHL, best mascot in the VHL and overall cute, nice and a champion.
  4. Wow the M rankings dont look correct since the marlins have so many active players and will end the season with a lot of players at 200 tpa or close to it. I am also happy that you recognize that White Jr. is the best forward on the Marlins for this season
  5. My VHL Off-Season S90 The S90 VHL off-season has been great with my player being in 3 drafts, the fun tournaments and more. Well I will be going over this amazing off-season in this media spot. We will start off with what my player did. Eric White Jr. of the San Diego Marlins had just been a part of the S89 Founder’s Cup championship team and was in the middle of playing in the Junior Showcase Tournament for the Brigade. Eric White Jr. picked up eight goals and six assists in the 30 game regular season and in the playoffs the Brigade lost to the Rush in seven games in the first round but White Jr. got four goals and three assists in those games. In the midst of all of that White Jr. was getting draft interviews from teams in the M, E and the VHL. The Pro-Am tournament happened and White Jr. knew he had to get into the list of participants. The Bayern Munich Fish were lucky enough to get White Jr. but he wasn’t much help. He was flipping through the 2nd and 3rd line during the regular season and only picked up two points in the 40 game regular season, and those two points were assists. White Jr. did not perform well in the bronze medal round getting zero points in four games. The draft week was a very busy week for White Jr. as he was in all three drafts. The VHL draft was first and White Jr. got seven draft interviews but the lucky team to get the high 2nd round prospect was the D.C. Dragons with the 20th pick in the draft. White Jr. was ecstatic to be drafted in the 2nd round. D.C. are very happy that they drafted White Jr. and they are just waiting for him to get to the VHL. The VHLE draft was next and with him being projected to be a 3rd round draft pick that meant he was going to Vastras to play for the Eagles. Well anyone who thought that would be wrong as White Jr. was picked in the 4th round by the Cologne Express. White Jr. was the 24th pick in that draft and all parties were very happy about that selection. Cologne’s team mascot and the best mascot in all of the VHL leagues Henry the Dog was very happy about that being the teams 2nd pick of the draft. There is still one more draft and that is the VHLM draft. White Jr. was definitely projected to be a very high pick in that draft and well here is what happened. “With the 8th pick in the VHLM Dispersal Draft the San Diego Marlins are proud to select Eric White Jr.” That is correct White Jr. went back to the Marlins and is now looking for a 2nd championship and a back to back. I didn’t just have a player to deal with, I was also a GM during the off-season. I was the GM of the Brigade in the JST and the GM of the Bayern Munich Fish in the Pro-Am, so I was lucky to be able to draft my own player in both of those drafts. Being a GM isn’t the easiest thing in the VHL but it is definitely fun. In the JST I was the GM for the Brigade and was paired with an experienced AGM in the VHL @McWolf It took me a few days to do my scouting but then it was JST draft day. My first pick that day was Raimo Tuominen and I always had back to back picks which sucked at first but it got better since I was able to make 2 picks at the same time. I was unable to get a few players that I wanted but it worked out in the end. Once I made my lines I just had to wait for the season to start. Throughout the season I had to make a few changes to the lines and strategies but overall it worked out ok. The Brigade finished the season 2nd in the league with a record of 18-9-3 and I had to start focusing on the playoffs. Going up against the Yukon Rush I knew the series would be close but sadly the Brigade lost in seven games in a devastating 3-2 loss in game seven. I couldn’t have been happier of what my team accomplished during the JST as they did all they could every game. I asked @McWolf a few questions and they were, How did you enjoy being my AGM in the JST? And, What was it like being an AGM for me? His answer to those were: "I liked being an AGM to help the new players get started in the league. I also like helping you get your first management experience. I thought you were good, talking with the players a lot in the locker room, and in DMs on the forum for those not on Discord. I appreciated that." In the Pro-Am it was very similar as I had to scout, draft, make lines, fix lines throughout the season but this time I decided to make captains and I chose my AGM. I was one of the few teams to get an AGM but it was really helpful. I let the team vote for captains and they voted for: Landon Wolanin to be the captain and Sjin. and Rick Grimes to be the assistant captains. The Fish finished 2nd overall at the end of the regular season and lost in 5 games to the Houston heat and we now had to fight for 3rd place. The Bayern Munich Fish played for bronze and swept the Vancouver Peacooks to take 3rd place. I also asked my AGM @dylanjj37 the same questions of: How did you enjoy being my AGM in the Pro-Am? And, What was it like being an AGM for me? His answer to those were: “I loved being your AGM. We made a great team and I really enjoyed it.” “The best thing about being AGM for you was that you knew what you wanted and you tried your hardest to get it. It's easy to be an AGM when you have such a great GM to work with.” It doesn't end there. The Warsaw Predators GM @N0HBDY interviewed my player Eric White Jr. about possibly drafting him but then he asked if I wanted to be his AGM for this upcoming season and further. This happened two days before the VHL draft but it didn’t change my answer as I still said yes and became the AGM of the VHL’s Warsaw Predators. He taught me all about how to be an official GM/AGM in the VHL/E/M and then it was draft day. That day was very busy since my player was in the draft and I was possibly going to have to make some picks. He let me make some picks but he told me who he wanted to draft so that I could get some experience about being a GM/AGM on draft day. He also told me to give out some ELC’s and those were great learning experiences. I asked him: What made you ask me to be your AGM? “Being a commissioner in the JST I get to see a lot more behind the scenes than pretty much everyone else. I've never had much of an AGM I've really used since most of the team's I inherited were more or less inactive so I kinda just chilled and ran stuff by myself more or less. This time around with Warsaw after my last AGM was unresponsive to me and we had a decent amount of draft picks and I possibly wasn't going to be around retaining those guys would be key in bringing the franchise back and so I thought why not try to get someone for once when I get around to it. Come draft scouting/interviews, Mysterious Fish, super active guy in the JST, possibly someone I could make my disciple and teach him the ropes. So I shot my shot for the hell of it, didn't interview anyone else before that, and all of a sudden I got myself an agm!” Well this was definitely a busy off-season for me in the VHL community so I figured I would share it with you all. I can’t wait for the start of S90 and being able to play for the San Diego Marlins again, being the AGM for the Warsaw Predators, grinding tpe for the future seasons and most of all having fun while doing it. Enjoy S90 on whatever team in whatever level you are GMing in or your player is playing in! 1502 words (1506 if you include title/subtitle) Claim tpe for 3 weeks
  6. So idk if you said but What players are eligable? Is this like the VHFL?
  7. I still dont understand what you just said after reading it 3 times
  8. Warsaw Predators Press Conference Week Ending August 27th Answer 3 for 1 TPE, all 6 for 2 TPE. 1. The Off-season has come to an end. How do you feel about the team for now and the future? 2. What did your player do during the Off-season? 3. What place in the league do you think the Predators will finish at by the end of the season? 4. Newly drafted prospect King Kisslinger met up with VHL veteran Jack Hextall at the bowling alley to talk. What do you think they talked about? 5. What is your favourite pre-game snack or meal? 6. Who was your favourite addition to our team in the S90 VHL Entry Draft?
  9. Well, As a member of the S89 Marlins I am glad to be back on the Marlins in S90 and I am very happy to have 3/4 Reingaard's on the squad to help us win b2b Founder's Cups
  10. I am happy that you are excited to be on the squad. Arce is a great GM and he wants to give players a great opportunity. Last season I joined the team via free agency in the middle of the season but luckily the team had only played 8 games at that point. Arce gave me a great chance and as the season went on I improved. We ended up winning the Founder's Cup and we were very happy. I am also glad that I was able to be drafted by the Marlins in the first round, 8th pick and San Diego's first pick of the VHLM Disposal Draft. So I am glad I can come back and play one more season in the M with the Marlins before going up to the E to play for S89's captain's team Cologne Express.
  11. 1. I dont like that Europe won, Canada should of won it. 2. I am the best addition to the squad. 3. Even though I am not on the roster for this season I think that you guys will still win. 4. I will be in San Diego in the M but I am hoping to do much better than last season. 5. I think they should of kept the rush and remove another team but also too soon, they should of said it will happen in a few seasons. 6. No because Fradin is too focused on making sure his player gets 25 hits a game.
  12. 1. I feel great repping the S89 Championship role, that was the start of an amazing journey. 2. Next is the VHLM draft and seeing where I go being a top 6 pick if not top 3 pick in the draft but hopefully I can end up in San Diego. 3. I feel great being drafted by D.C. and Sjin's Cologne Express. 4. I will miss San Diego alot, so many memories but hopefully I can play here again in S90. 5. Meeting all of these great people who supported me along the season and making some friends. 6. Yes, Sjin will play one year in the VHL and then retire. Thank you for a great season guys and maybe I will be on this wonderful team in S90
  13. I have better defensive abilities than some of the forwards on defence
  14. Bad roster since im not in it, and can you tell me how people qualified for it
  15. 1. We are feeling great, the season ended in a great way. 2. It is close between Clark and Sjin but I am going to have to choose Clark. 3. Me! Anyways idk there were a lot of underrated players on our squad in the playoffs and all season. 4. Losing game 1 against Ottawa since I feel if we didn't lose to them we would of gone a bit to cocky. 5. In the off season I am going to have to make the tough decision on whether I want to play in the E or stay in the M. 6. Well since some players are underage I think there should be some non alcoholic things in the mix with the alcoholic stuff.
  16. The Marlins won the Founder's Cup in five games ending the S89 VHLM season as we only lost 3 total playoff games
  17. San Diego’s Season Review Eric White Jr. The San Diego Marlins are one win away from winning the S89 Founders Cup, it has been a great season and there is only one way to finish it off and that is to beat the Philadelphia Reapers for the Founders Cup. So I am going to go through the path it took to get to this point in the season. The season started off with a solid start having a win and an OT loss giving them three points in the first day. The first ten games it wasn’t showing a lot of hope but it was still early and they had a 5-4-1 record but then it was getting much better because after 25 total games the Marlins were looking much better having a 15-7-3 record. The halfway point to the season has just happened and the marlins are looking really good with a record of 24-8-4 which is 52 points. At this point the team was really good and we were getting wins after wins after wins and the team and Arce the wonderful GM of the team found the way to win the games at hand. The team had so much confidence and we were ready from the next half of the season ahead. The Marlins are 50 games into the season and are at the top of their conference so with a record of 32-14-4 we are looking forward to a strong end of the season and the playoffs. The marlins finished the season off second in their conference, third overall with a record of 49-16-7 obtaining 105 points and Brad Marchand had 99 points in 72 games leading our team in scoring and don't forget about Clark who had 49 wins a .910 save percentage and a 2.22 Goals against average but also had 6 shutouts. The playoffs have been great so let's talk about that. In the first round the San Diego Marlins were taking on the Halifax 21st, the series was fun but the Marlins prevailed in a five game series winning 4-1, the second round was also pretty easy and the second round ended so fast the our five game series was the longest series in that round but we beat the Ottawa Lynx 4-1 in the series. The Marlins had high hopes for this finals round but going against the Philadelphia Reapers who destroyed the regular season and have never lost in the finals did mean that this would be a very close and exciting series. The first game was extremely close but Clark posted a shutout in a 1-0 victory, the second game was a different story as the Reapers took the second game with the score of 3-2. Games 3 and 4 we had home ice advantage and we took advantage as in game 3 we won 2-1 in overtime to take a 2-1 series lead, and a very close game 4 that took a double overtime to find a winner the Marlins won 3-2 with a great Sjin Game winning goal to give us a 3-1 series lead and putting the Reapers on the brink of elimination. Clark has been great through four games in the finals as he has 105 saves in the finals but through the entirety of the playoffs Clark has had a .938 save percentage and a 1.52 goals against average and also has 2 shutouts. Sjin has led the team in points so far in the playoffs with 9 goals and 8 assists for 17 points in 14 games. The team is excited and happy with what we have accomplished so far and now we are only one game away from winning the 2nd Founder’s Cup in Marlins history.
  18. My VHLM Season Eric White Jr. The season is coming to a wrap today! It has been a great season and I can’t wait to see what happens in the future of my career. The VHLM is a great place, you meet new people and a ton of helpful people for anyone who is new to the league. The VHLM is also a great place to figure out what type of build you are going to be in the future and what you have to improve on. For me it was a great place to learn that you should not be focusing on making your build be balanced. When I first made my player I was making sure that when I used my tpe i had everything at the same number or close to. As I went on throughout the season I found the type of build that I want to use which is what I am going to do now. This season was fun and I may have had a very rough start to the season but I picked up the pace after the halfway point of the season and have been doing well ever since. I missed 8 games of the season since I had yet to join the league but in my 62 games played so far I have accomplished 11 goals and 20 assists so I would be averaging 0.5 points per game, and I have an 11.5 shot percentage. Now I did accomplish my goals of getting 10 goals and 20 assists but I feel like now would be a great time to thank Sjin, Arce, the rest of the Marlins locker room and some people in the rest of the VHL for helping me get my player to where it is today. The playoffs will be interesting to see what goes on but it will also be a different play style than what I am used to. I am used to the regular season play style where sometimes it is fast paced and sometimes it is a slow game, where as I am expecting it to be all fast paced. I don’t know how the playoffs work other than the fact that 8 teams make the playoffs and there can only be one winner in the end. I am going to give you my honest predictions on what team is going to win the Founders Cup. Now if I was being biased I would say that the San Diego Marlins would win the Founders Cup but if I am not biased then the obvious answer would be to say that the Philadelphia Reapers would win the Founders Cup but I think that either the Houston Bulls or the Mississauga Hounds would win the Founders Cup if I wasn’t biased. I would love to see a great Cinderella story for a big underdog so if that happens I would love to see the Ottawa Lynx to be that underdog. Well this season was great can’t wait for the VHL draft and can’t wait to see what happens in the playoffs and the off-season tournaments. I wrote this before the last games were played.
  19. 1. I fell great about how the team performed looking forward to a good playoff run. 2. My player met my expectations today actually. 3. Not much except people doing the press conference, a pt, trivia and training. 4. The VHL has been great! 5. My earning habits are great so I can't wait to improve even more. 6. NO, I am a leaf fan and superstions NEVER go well.
