Just wondering. I think it'd be kinda decent if enough of us played to where we could form clubs.

Ditto!

Props on a hell of a write up.

Thank you for the mention!

Currently rereading "Blood Meridian" by Cormac McCarthy. If you don't know about this book, check it out. Even by today's standards, It's still pretty rough/raw. Last book I read was "Lullaby" by Chuck Palahniuk.

I ripped the background from a GTA Vice City graphic.

This is a respectable outlook on your season finale. It would be nice to reach that goal you set for yourself as far as points, but it's admirable that you're bigger priority is making the playoffs. That says a lot about a player. And, honestly, I'm certain there's been cases where player's have had a 40+ goal season and didn't even make the playoffs. So, all that work for pretty much nothing. Even if you don't score another goal before the season ends, you've still had an impressive performance. Especially as a defensive type of player.

3 Midseason Signings Playing Big Roles for VHLM Teams
UghSike replied to LucyXpher's topic in VHL.com Articles
Quite a thoughtful and informative write-up. Clean format, @'s and stats in the right places. And to top it off, well well-researched as far as players and its not just all statistics. There's some depth in terms of the players stories that make it feel organic. 11/10 -
Glad I'm not the only one who was seeing double!

This needs more "likes" TBH. This is a fantasy hockey league and this is some fantasy type of shit.

I'd like to be the equipment manager if anyone is in need.

Nice work! It just goes to show you that anything can happen in this league. We're all at the mercy of how effective our teams/players distribute their TPE, and how active team players are at acquiring those TPE. It would be interesting to see just how much people really start grinding out their efforts in the off-season. Reading these articles in full has been helpful in developing my own player build because most of these, if not all, showcase the better teams and players and it gives a reference for what people are doing to make their player build that much more effective.

Nice write-up. You've been doing very well this season. Much better than I hoped to. I can definitely see you going early in the first round and there's still time to climb the ranks on the points leaderboard. In all honesty, I thought the Jinn's were 1 person with a bunch of alternate accounts until someone told me they're all just from another league or something. I guess I still have a lot to learn, but good luck with the rest of your season! Rick James and Charlie Murphy are both watching you from The Cocaine Kingdom in the Clouds.

Well, that seemed to work for YOU! Let me try. Give me my TPE you clowns!

Well, this is very flattering. Thanks for noticing me!

Initially, the expectations of production coming from UghSike were set high. Unfortunately, he's had a rough start in the league. About midway through the season, he's produced 27 points in 38 games. Not entirely a terrible start for the young winger from Cork, Ireland. Especially considering most of those points have come from recent games. It seems he's just now finding his groove, but will he be able to keep up this momentum? Not every player settles into the league from their very first game. We've spoken with him in the past and he has a very "reserved" demeanor. So, maybe it was just a matter of him coming out of his shell as he familiarized himself with the other players around the league. As it stands, we're projecting he goes in the 2nd round. Probably a late pick. In his defense, he wasn't getting a lot of ice time earlier in the season, but he's been moved up in the lines and more ice time means more opportunity to produce. In his last two games managed to tally 4 points. If he has more nights like those he should be able to influence the scout rankings a bit. He has his work cut out for him though. There are a lot of players in the VHLM who made their mark early on and are still maintaining that pace. 229 words

Well dang! Lots of history and facts to make this feel real and informative! I liked the introduction with the statistics behind the island itself. Clearly you put a lot of time and thought into this submission. Even going as far as to post a photo with a description laid out properly underneath of it. An enjoyable read and I hope to see more!
