Last week I put Seattle in at 8th and Cologne at 7th. The week before, New York and Calgary ranked tied for 9th. 6th - Quebec City Meute Kesler's their GM. Holy shit. I could obviously make it past that should I be selected by the team, and I can't deny that I respect him for putting up with all the shit he's taken since being here, but the team has a strong, young core and doesn't look likely to be picking near the top in S43. I'd like to go to Quebec at some point with one of my players, but it doesn't look as if it'll work out with Delicious, at least not in the draft. 5th - Toronto Legion Always one of my more disliked teams because of the rivalry Seattle had with them when I was on Clarence, Toronto is a destination that has nonetheless intrigued me since getting past the rivalry. They have a ton of extremely talented young players but I don't know if I want to play for a GM that isn't earning TPE at a solid rate with the team. I would still love to join their awesome core of young talent.

Last week, it was revealed that New York and Calgary are at the bottom of E'Twaun Delicious's draft destination list because of his handler's large amount of time spent with both teams. It was also revealed that Delicious would be highly unlikely to sign a second contract with either team. 8 - Seattle Bears The Bears were the team to draft my first successful player in the VHL, Joey Clarence. I have a lot of great memories of my time on that team going against Toronto, and I spent some (largely inactive) time in Seattle with GIYGAS as well. What puts Seattle ahead of New York and Calgary is the fact that I've never won a cup with them, but this is the last of the times that I can say I likely wouldn't re-sign with when the time comes. 7 - Cologne Express I enjoyed my short stint in Cologne with GIYGAS and would love to go back there. It's really an issue of where they're gonna be by the time of that draft; I doubt a team with a core of 800 TPE players (by the S43 draft) will be in position to draft me. I'd still like to go there if it could happen, though.

FWIW every league can be tough to navigate when you're not used to it, but in all of my experiences with the SHL (which haven't been for a long time mind you) it was definitely the least simple and well-integrated. It has been one of the big deterents for me from the league.

As an NCAA AD in the SBA I can tell you most new members consider being able to play more and an active community over team quality. I'm more in favor of a VHLM comtraction but the NCAA system is better than yall give it credit for.
