Last 2 seasons: Suarez - 66 appearances; 54 goals in England Costa - 66 appearances; 37 goals in Spain I, personally, wouldn't group Costa in with Suarez, but that's just me. I think Suarez is by far the better striker. I hate Costa because he is a diving cheating scumbag but also has the skill to not resort to that.. but he thinks of doing it first. But more often than not, so does Suarez - he's insane. But I can never forgive Costa for the double stamp game At least Suarez when he bites someone isn't intending on taking out the person for months on end.

That was such a brilliant match. Liverpool were just electric. I can't stress how impressed I was with Joe Allan. He held up that midfield fantastically and kept Liverpool's fluidity going. But everyone on Liverpool were clicking today. Just excellent to watch.

Looking at the TPE totals from around the league, there seems to be more and more players with 500+TPE. The increase in activity and members is fantastic, however, it makes the GM's jobs of managing the salary cap a nightmare. If they start with a core group of 5 or 6 guys and they all stick with the team - in a few seasons, they'll have to sell some off. I know players in their prime who've had to take salary hits just to help manage the team finances. I believe we can get more depth in our rosters. Also, what with the changes in the Player Store, money has been more of a commodity in the league. I would like to see a slight increase in the Salary Cap.

The biggest new in the VHL last week was not that Munk has sent three deaths threats to each Commissioner, nor the fact that Encarnation has still to register one fight this season, but rather the debacle over the Seattle GM situation. Rumours that the Commissioners were going to be removing Bushito from his position as Seattle GM sent shockwaves of fury through the Seattle Bears organization and everyone affiliated, resulting in players threatening to leave, retire, or kill the Commissioners: The rumours were spurred on due to the disappearance of Bushito just before the end of the off-season. It has been confirmed that his real life is responsible. The Commissioners issued a statement this past Thursday stating that this was unacceptable. This put into question the whole purpose of an Assistant GM. Not every team has one, but Seattle has had one for a full Season now and if Assistants cannot fill in when the GM is not available then what are they? Puppets? Muppets? Kermit the Swedish Chef? You decide VHL, because this reporter is out of ideas.

OH thank goodness. I just re-checked. It is on Sunday. I just remember checking last week and thought I saw saturday. Sturridge was replaced but that was really only to bring on Lambert for the penalties. If Sturridge (who was the worse of the 2 strikers) had been taken off first, then maybe we would have kept Mario on and we wouldn't have to had Lovren take a penalty. Fucking Lovren?
