Could that literally be a VHL record four straight shutouts?

I like you but you do need to be informed of hard truths.
 
Based on current TPE of the roster pages Seattle has 4823 TPE up from 4790 TPE on the VHL TPE index a gain of 33.  That moves the average TPE up from 532 to 536 not bad.
 
Riga has 5630 TPE up from 5687 a gain of 57 TPE and an average per player gain from 512 to 517.  We are gaining TPE faster than Seattle and currently have more with a lower average because we have more depth resulting in less CPU time.
 
S33 players is the start of depreciation, with S32 and S31 being hit much harder.  Riga has 2 players who have taken depreciation Taylor (who banked a bajillion and is still earning TPE) and Spud who didn't bank and is slowly recovering with welfare and such.
 
Seattle has Olsen S33, Ball S33, Lefevre S32, Weber S33, and Tremblay S33.  Ball, Olsen, Weber, and even Lefevre I'll assumed banked Tremblay only took 3% but hes inactive and only had 244 TPE to begin with.  So granted your depreciation was all covered BUT where you had to use TPE to replace that Riga has gained TPE and has more active updaters across the board.  
 
Sure its close enough to go either but to say you have more TPE at every position when we have nearly 900 more TPE than Seattle with less overall depreciation is just laughable man  and to your point about last season Seattle being good we went 6-2 vs Bears last season so in the past if you were good we were still better.  Also to talk about past seasons when both teams didn't even win the cup isn't really relevant anyway.

Although this may sound just like an insult that a man from the 1940s would yell at a homeless man trying to cook Mulligan Stew under a bridge but ruining it with old pigweed, it is actually a very appropriate title for this week's blog.
 
Bloggart - blog + art (and an extra 'g' because I'm so gangster,  what whaaa!) 
 
Blogging is indeed an art - or at least it should be. The English language can be so eloquent and I feel like it being decimated by the use of quick chats. The art of conversation has withered away like an MS patient and been usurped by lols and brbs. No one seems to have time to put together a well constructed sentence. 
 
For example, I (Phil Villeneuve) was yesterday telling a story to by 19-year old cousin. I said something along the lines of 'Those New York Americans are pernicious little fuckers'. She asked me what 'pernicious' meant and so I explained that it meant ' extremely deadly'. "Oh," she replied. "Well why didn't you just say that?"

In other News, Riga aren't the force I thought they would be. I suppose I haven't really been pulling my weight and should use our powers of awesome to be better.

AFRICA, the country - Last week, the young English Defender for the Reign, Phil Villeneuve, stated on his blog that he was not fully dedicated to improving himself.
 
Well, he's proved it. He's outdone his words. 
 
The former Rookie of Indifference, now the Sophomore of Deterrence, has skipped down to the southern hemisphere on a plane to Africa.
 
Why,  when he's coming back, how he was allowed to do this, what will be the consequences are all questions that Villeneuve probably didn't consider. 
 
Some believe that it was one of the League's commissioners that drove him to the hot plains of the Serengeti:
 
"This time Victor has gone TOO FAR," said PITA Leader of the VHL, Joey Kendrick. "I always knew he would start driving members of the community away, but he's CROSSED THE FUCKING LINE THIS TIME."
 
Kendrick is currently picketing outside the Alfie Estate. Crowds may form and the police may need to get involved.
 
As for Villeneuve, who cares? This Kendrick raging story's going to win me a Journalism award!!

RIGA, Latvia - With S38 under way in the VHL, one player in specific has been on top of the world just 7 games into this season. After a a solid couple games to start the season, it was Game 22 that really shot Brennan McQueen to the top of the leaderboards. McQueen went off in the first period alone scoring the first 4 goals of the game and added an assist. He would end the game with another goal and assist in the third period for a total of 5 goals and 2 assists nearly doubling his point total on the season.


Currently McQueen sits atop the league in points at 18 and goals with 10. He's never really been known as a huge offensive threat but that may be starting to change after leading the World Cup in goals and now continuing hot into the new season. "I'm loving that I'm producing and it's showing that all my work is paid off but it's unrealistic to say I'm going to continue at this pace and to be honest I'm just going to enjoy it now because I don't know when, if ever, I'll be on top of the leaderboards like this again. What I want more is for my Reign to win whether that involves me scoring tons or playing a more defensive role. It's the most important thing for now and the rest of my career."

Riga won a cup not long ago we have no team curse but some individual players might have some.

Anyway a handful of seasons ago we had an amazing 21 or so game winning streak I think we have the potential to do something like that again this year.
