Answers 

 

1. I’m a goalie but Ricky has 1 assist so far. Points don’t matter for goalies but let’s hope for some more shutouts as he is currently dominating with 14 of them this season.

 

2. Malmo and Vancouver could be a wicked final- not sure who would win though.

 

3. I’m a leafs fan and I like how the team looks this season. I wouldn’t say no to some crazy trade for a player like Crosby but I highly doubt that’ll happen, and I don’t think it’s necessary anyways.

Toronto selling the whole squad for anything offered. Get that rebuild going.

 

Honestly, me. I've been dominant and about to lead the league in all 4 categories you can for the G position so, can't top that.

 

Temporary stat bumps would be interesting. Like $1m to bump your SK by +2 for a month. Would be a lot to manage for updaters if it was automated but cool nonetheless.

Answers:

1. Of the current teams, I would say its a toss-up between Prague, Malmo, and Warsaw; you could make a case for all three to be #1 in my opinion. All-time, its probably the former VHLM Oslo Screaming Seamen.

1. I didn't know that was the limit! I honestly think that it's alright, though I'd like to play for 10 seasons in the VHL at some point! It's understandable though lol
2. I'd like to witness the rise and fall of the VHLE!

1. Just got to work straight after school and lacrosse, hoping to see the girlfriend and go out for dinner after. We'll see what happens, easy night hopefully.

2. I think anything is possible when you put your mind to it, and that should apply the other way as well. Nothing is possible if you dont put your mind to it. With that being said, I think the hell of a lot of motivation wins here.

3. It is not New Zealand, it would be Italy haha. Its just beautiful down there and most of my ancestors migrated from the area, so id like to see what they were working with.

1. Fall for me.  Just love the temperature more than anything.

1) As miserable as it would be to not be able to experience music, I'd probably have to go with deaf. I feel like you can practically work your way around deafness easier than you could work around being blind, thanks to an uncountable number of accessibility tools and the invention of languages like ASL. From a purely practical standpoint, you have more ways to overcome it, I feel.

 

2) Yor Bjorven would choose absolutely nowhere. Bundled up happily in a small Icelandic city is exactly the place he longs to be, so much so that he tends to get incredibly homesick during road trips. Perhaps there are many places with greater opportunities and experiences, but home truly is where the heart is at the end of the day.

 

3) I HAVE to put anime recommendations in a question like this-- Frieren and Oshi no Ko are the current one, two punch that I've been onto for a while now. Really hoping the former gets a second season soon. I don't normally go all-out on watching/finding shows though (even anime) so other recommendations would be pretty basic-- Better Call Saul was phenomenal, I've heard a lot of good things about The Bear but still have yet to watch, Mad Men was a phenomenal watch and I really need to get back to my rewatch of it. Avatar: The Last Airbender was a really cute, easy to cut through series that I finally sat down and caught up with lately, and I don't regret it.

2) The VHL openly considers starting up an All-Star weekend in similar vein to the NFL, where players are put through obstacle courses and dodgeball tournaments. What events would you suggest should be included?

A1 - Probably wouldn't be a Sabres fan had I not been born in Buffalo. I kind of hate the NHL product and if I left the country and moved to Ireland or something I'd probably pick an SHL team to follow.

 

A2 - The Assault from American Gladiators. Always wanted to try that.

 

A3 - Probably dogs because they're generally even-keel.
