President Thunder for a day would make the necessary changes to the country and Commissioner Thunder for a day will make the necessary changes for Thunder to be happy.  The first thing President Thunder would do is lock up @ScottyP.  He has no business roaming the streets.  Commissioner Thunder would give @scottyp an ultimatum.  Either you max earn or you give up the name Rip Wheeler.  You’re giving that name a bad reputation.

 

Now that @scottyp is out of the way, here are Commissioner Thunder’s immediate changes.

 

Trivia

 

Trivia questions would be simple, easy to navigate, and worded so that there is no chance of ambiguity.  Not only that, the trivia database would allow for the answers to be listed.  The reason for this is that the trivia questions are only 1 TPE and sometimes Thunder spends over 20 minutes trying to navigate through stuff just to find the answer, and what really pisses Thunder off is when he did all the work and got the answer wrong anyway.  F that.  It’s hereby decreed changed, according to Commissioner Thunder.

 

 

Depreciation/Regression

 

Out the window.  Commissioner Thunder hereby decrees that all TPE earned will not get depreciated.  Players do too much work to build attributes to only have them go to shit as their years progress.  Now, to compensate for depreciation, the cost to improve attributes are now changed so that its more difficult to bump up an attribute after the player’s 6th season.  In addition, the attributes are adjusted prior to the 6th season so that there is still room to improve, albeit with more TPE.  Commissioner Thunder has spoken.

 

 

Podcasting

 

Commissioner Thunder has officially modified the TPE earning for podcasters.  The podcasters are too sporadic and have not been providing enough entertainment for Thunder to stay interested.  Beginning on Thunder’s first day as commissioner, podcasters earn bonus TPE if they do podcasts on consecutive weeks.  Specifically, each consecutive week a player does a podcast, that player receives 1 extra TPE for each consecutive week.  There will be no limit of extra TPE earned, as long as the podcasts are consecutive and entertaining.  Not only that, players like @JardyB10, @Spartan , @MubbleFubbles, @Berocka, @ctots, @Hogan, @Phil, @jacobcarson877, @Ahma, @FrostBeard @Viper, @UnknownMinion, @aimkin, and any other top podcaster as so deemed by Thunder, will lose TPE if they do not maintain a steady flow of podcasts so that Thunder is entertained.

 

 

VHLE

 

The VHLE will take on some minor changes, as deemed by Commissioner Thunder.  The changes will affect VHL teams as well.  All VHLE player will be required to play at least 2 games on their VHL team during the season, and at the same time, every VHL player must sit out 2 games.  Now, you ask what does this do?  Commissioner Thunder is going to tell you…. By making every player sit out and get 2 games rest, it forces the general managers to make adjustments and changes the matchups against other teams.  With the VHL player getting replaced with a VHLE player, it welcomes a VHLE’er and adds some spice.

 

A VHLE player gets 2 uncapped TPE each game that player plays in the VHL.  The VHL player gets 2 uncapped TPE for each game the player sits out and gets rest.

Some genuinely good ideas in here, especially the part about getting more and more TPE for podcasting consecutively.

 

Oh, and the trivia thing. Trivia is disproportionately difficult.
