Hello and welcome to the VSN’s presentation of the S89 VHLM All Star Skills Competition held in The Bayou City, Houston, Texas! Tonight, the best of the best the VHLM has to offer will compete in 5 separate challenges. Fastest Skater, Passing, Puck Handling, Hardest Shot, and Save Streak. We’ve got some incredibly talented players taking part, so without further delay, let’s get into it!

The Tendies will face six shots, in which if they allow a goal, they’re allowed to continue. After the seventh shot however, if a goal is allowed the streak will end. The Goalies competing for best brick wall are: Karl Herzlich @LastGoon007, Boolie Buchholz @Jacob buchholz, Devon Giguere @omniscius, and Clark @cl4rk

Overall, an incredible showing by our VHLM All-Stars. Everybody involved should be proud of the work that they put in, and enjoy the pride of representing their teams and the league in this head on head of the best the M has to offer. That’ll do it for this presentation of the VSN’s coverage of the S89 VHLM All Star Skills Competition. I'm Marcus Svedberg, wishing you all a good night!

so the 570ft of a full lap were absolved in 9.11 seconds.

That is an average speed of 62.57ft/s or 19.08m/s (68.688 km/h (42.68mph)).

As a comparison: WR in short track skating is 500m in 39.505s = 12.66m/s or  45.564 km/h (28.312mph)

Considering that the short track athletes do it without any cumbersome protection gear and without a stick but with special skates designed for speed, this leads to the unambiguous conclusion that VHLM players are simply built differently.

(I love the event and do not mean to downplay it, I just wondered at the times and did some math)

Is this rng or is there a calculator for these events

Here's the formulas used:
Fastest Skater: = (100 - SK rating)/2 * ((Random# between 1500 and 2000)/100)*2.5

Passing: = (100 - PA rating)/2 * ((Random# between 1500 and 2000)/100)*6

Puck Handling: = (100 - PH rating)/2 * ((Random# between 1500 and 2000)/100)*5

Hardest Shot: = (SC rating+ST rating) /1.2 * ((Random# between 90 and 103)/100) Note:(3 shots each)

Sv Streak: - random number, if > than SV%=goal

So while ratings due play a major role, there is a bit of RNG
