Welcome, VHLEers, to the S89 VHLE Awards Ceremony to celebrate the individual achievements accomplished by players during the VHLE’s Tenth season. As we begin I ask you to stay seated, turn off your phones (or we will place you in a box). I would also like to acknowledge the two disbanding VHLE franchises for being a part of the VHLE for several seasons, the Istanbul Red Wolves and Geneva Rush!

Let's Start by acknowledging the S89 League Leaders:

Leading the VHLE in Points(108) and Assists(75), Hannibal Barca  @DreMin15

Leading the VHLE in Goals(49), BjorkaBjorn BjornaBjorkson  @JardyB10

Leading VHLE Defensemen in points(108), Hannibal Barca  @DreMin15

Leading the VHLEin plus/minus(57), Steve Lattimer @pugsood

Leading the VHLE in Shots Blocked(240), Pope Francis @nurx

Leading the VHLE in Penalty Minutes(186), Bobby Rockwell  @Kairi

Leading the VHLE in shutouts(6), Justin Lion  @Emperor_Fun

Leading the VHLE in GAA(2.14), Tadhg Byrne  @teknonym

Team Achievements always seems more valuable to win; the memories one makes while earning the award is what makes the award so great to receive; the team that won the Kings Cup felt they had a lot to play for, congratulations to the Istanbul Red Wolves on winning the Kings Cup also known as the regular season title! Not only did they win the season title they were also Renaissance Cup Finalists!

On the Topic of Team Achievements! The Renaissance Cup Champions this season road the rails to the high grounds, and in this case, the high ground was a championship, led by a forward core of  Jarkko Laakkonen @Xdjk93,  Al Land @Big Dee Savaisk Tzesar @comrade cat , blue liners Reginald the Dodo @Esso2264 , and Eurydyka Sklodowska Dudzinska @diamond_ace and protecting the net was Clark @cl4rk . This team last won the finals in season 87, this is their second Renaissance cup championship congratulations to the Cologne Express.

Alright, Everyone, we will take a brief intermission as I prepare my notes for the Season 89 individual awards; now is a great time to check those phones; just don't get caught, or the refs will throw you in a box!
