1. Definitely you lol. 

But if I had to pick someone I didn't already know in real life it would be a toss up between Sam and Kirbithan. Both are awesome people I've chatted with on here and I think they would be cool to hang out with in person! 

2. No idea here. Honestly too much happening in real life these past couple of months I haven't paid attention to the VHL as much as I usually do. 

3. I enjoyed my time in the VHLE and think it is a good transition to have between the M and L. 

4. I don't think I know any hockey slang! 

5. I am not a magic fan myself. 

6. A sweet self driving one! I don't drive.

1. I would say McWolf since I’ve known him the longest and have talked with him more in the past even a couple times when I was out of the VHL for a while.

2. Hopefully we can win it and get 1st, that would be pretty great but even not we should have a top 5 pick.

3. I like the step between personally. I think having a 300~ TPE player playing in the VHL is too low and your player will get dominated by 900+ players or just never score on most goalies either. I think it gives an opportunity to meet more people as well

6. My wife and I bought a used Tesla Model 3 recently and I’ve been really happy with it. It’ll save us money in the long run and it’s a very comfortable vehicle to drive. It has a lot of great features as well

1. I've only had one player in the league so far but I'd be interested in choosing a different position than the one my player is in the future to mix it up. 

2. I do not. I haven't tried any other hockey related games and I currently don't have any time too. 

3. Grouse mountain I think! I didn't hike up there but taking the gondola up and then walking up part of the mountain was neat. 

4. I don't have an opinion on them as I'm not too sure what goes on behind the scenes. They seem like mysterious shadowy figures! 

5. Hmm that's tough. There are a bunch of interesting jobs around here. Probably one of the moderators for the offseason tournaments since I haven't had time to do something like that.

1. @Mysterious_Fish for sure. Accidentally spent like 4+ hours on the podcast recording and had to cut it down so much. We just love yapping together

1. I just wanted to make a solid two way winger with a focus on goal scoring. It’s also the style player I also play in NHL

2. I don’t do any other sim league stuff but I do play NHL a little bit with my brother and cousin

3. I would have to say the CN Tower in Toronto

4. I don’t really know enough to have a great opinion to be honest. From what I see though it seems like they run the league well. I don’t know how they could really do things differently

5. It would be hard to be a GM in the VHLM. The turnover rate must be super high and you’re helping a lot of new comers (which is great) but then they just disappear and never come back. You also lose your best players so fast. I guess it’s a lot like the CHL in that sense

1. Painstakingly go through the last 25 Hall of Fame players to study their builds and strategy to create the proverbial Michael Jordan of the league.

1. You should make a player named "please don't draft me" in the mean time and see what happens. Or maybe named "I'm going to retire" and just not say when.

 

2. My office. Other than that I'm a 60 second walk from the beach so sometimes I just go and ponder my orb on the beach

 

3. The last time I've ever touched a bike was when I did a 40 mile marathon around my city when I was 17 or 18. I did not want to bike for a long time after that lmao

 

4. Yes and no. I think superstitions are a lot of fun and can build good team chemistry and relations, like a ritual. If superstitions do affect an actual game in any way, it doesn't affect it more than the hard work of the players.

Only MTB, but it's been a month or two.

1. I think we’re hopeful to make the playoffs but maybe not quite out of the rebuild. It depends on how the season plays out

2. My last player I switched from a forward to D for my last season because London desperately needed a defenseman and I wanted to help the team

3. I would yes. I would think that my player would still be somewhat serviceable even as a vet

I would like to see a team in Quebec or Halifax.

I like both. Both allow potential talent to be brought on to a team but at different times and ways.

I think the number is fine, but only should increase if more players chose to join the league.

1. Not sure.  Maybe weekly shoutouts or player of the week segments

1. I would mandate a relocation to Atlanta, no questions asked.

2. I think trading gets more value, but also can be riskier

If I was; for example: the GM of the Riga Reign; I would advocate for the name of the team to be changed to the Royski Reign for a competitive advantage.

 

2.  Are you more of a fan of trading or drafting?

I love drafts so much, I think they are so exciting. It's so much fun to get to see people get excited about their players and meet new people.

 

3.  Do you have any ideas for new point tasks?

A reporter! You can ask an individual player 3 questions about their game, performance or about themselves for 1 capped tpe (for a max of 2 players for 2 tpe a week). Players can also claim their answers for the same amount of tpe (1 tpe for 3 questions). Both asking and answering share a cap. The answers will be reported to a section on the forum for submission, and will follow guidelines or a template for posting the answers.

 

4.  With 16 teams currently in the VHL, how many more would you like to see?

I think 16 is a good number. Nice and round and smooth. With that being said the number of VHL teams is heavily influenced by the member and active player count, so seeing a lot would be good because that would mean a lot of new people!

 

5.  What is your favourite movie?

The Kingsman. Or maybe something like Top Gun: Maverick. I can never remember what movies I like

 

6.  Do you currently own any nerf guns? Do you want to?

Yes. Always. I want one of those big nerf machine guns with the tripods.
