Theme Week - Blockbuster Trades

You can tell your friends you saw it here first.  There are blockbuster trades in the works, and it was not initiated by someone you’d think could be the mastermind behind the trade.  And this being theme week, what better time for the surprise trade of VHL history.

 

As best as I could tell, there was some grumbling in the locker room by Gianfranco Del Rocco, @Victor, who indicated that he desperately wanted to go back to his home in Seattle, because he missed his GM @Banackock, and Banakock always remembers his birthday.  This caught Taavetti Jokinen, @Ahma, by surprise, as Jokinen finally got his good friend to bleed purple on HC Davos, only to find out that Del Rocco wanted out.  Jokinen immediately went to HC Davos GM @Alex, and demanded to be released from the no trade clause.  Being the supportive GM that Alex is, he reluctantly agreed to find a new home for Jokinen as well as work out a deal involving Del Rocco.

 

Banakock talked with @InstantRockstar, who in turned reached out to @badcolethetitan, who just happened to be in discussions with @LucyXpher, who was also in deep discussions with @Frank, who happened to be intoxicated and was on the phone with @Spartan , who was still riding high on vacation.  Unbeknownst to all those GM’s listed above, Spartan was doing his typical magician work on trades and was in deep talks with @N0HBDY, who was also discussing things with @Lemorse7.

 

When all the discussions ended and deals were struck, this became the day of trades that shocked VHL for years to come.  Here goes:
