Town of Salem #33: Sign Up

I had turned off the lights and was getting ready to go to bed, and then I realized that some of you would probably start voting for me if I didn't get on this. It's been long enough.

 

So, one of the lights is back on, and I promise to give you ungrateful little pigs the slop you've been clamoring for over the past few weeks or so.

 

It's hard to believe that we're now on Game #33--not even counting the games that didn't fall into the official numbering system, that means the VHL now averages a Town of Salem game every three seasons over its entire history, and I've only been here for the last third of it. What that means is that I'm averaging about a game per season, which you wouldn't know from this being our first this calendar year. I used to have so much time in my life--don't ever get old.

JOINING THE SERVER IS REQUIRED  FOR ALL PLAYERS! Non-players are welcome as well.

 

Remember that ALL game-related notifications will be given on Discord! Make sure you join the server, and check it BEFORE speaking in the game thread each day. Also, do your best to be there at the start of each night phase!

If you're new to the game, read up on some roles on the wiki and go through some old game threads in this subforum.

-If you won the last game, you have an automatic 30% chance to receive a role of your choosing, if you'd like to request one. The winners of last game are listed below:

-If you didn't win the last game, you can still request a role! Play trivia, and for each correct answer, you'll earn a cumulative 5% chance toward a role of your choosing, for a maximum chance of 20%.

-If you won the last game, you can still play! This possible 20% chance will be added to your 30% chance for a maximum of 50%.

-No, you do not need to do this if you don't want to.

-If you'd like to play without requesting a role, simply write "Random" in the role request box.

Target start date: Thursday night as I promised Adrest and GLU--except that's probably the most inconvenient night this week for me to do it. I may or may not do Wednesday if spots fill up quickly, and I also may or may not do Friday if I have too much to do Thursday.

 

If you're coming across this for the first time, we welcome any and all noobs to our game! It may take a time or two through the process to learn it well, but I promise we don't bite (except for the Vampires and Werewolves).

He called a user ungrateful little pig because they asked him about ToS. Even if Gustav is friends with the populus of the Town of Salem, no commissioner should be calling a user ungrateful little pigs in public, especially when they ask about something like ToS. It's not a good look (unprofessional), and if you didn't know Gustav, you might not want to message him about something in the future. Before you go and tell me it's not a big deal, Commissioners should be held to a higher standard, as they represent this league.
