Toast 887 Posted August 7, 2015 Share Posted August 7, 2015 The post-season is right around the corner after what has seemed to be one long week, so the VHL Magazine staff have decided that we will go back to common topic here at the Power Poll. Of the six teams currently in contention for the playoffs, who do you believe will win the Continental Cup? Last season we saw Seattle go from the team that was expected to be swept out of the playoffs to the team that was hoisting the Cup in the end. So we know that anything could happen in the post-season, but there definitely are still favourites. Will it be Cologne, who sit at an insane 107 goal differential and atop the European conference with 102 points? Stockholm and Davos both have a fair shot as those three teams will definitely be representing the Euros in the playoffs. Quebec again has had a strong season and look to capitalize on it by winning it all. It seems that they will hold the lead of the North American conference and get their bye. Calgary will return to the playoffs as well and they will be joined by either New York or Seattle, as those two fight it out for the last spot in the playoffs. So, as always, make sure to comment with your vote! Let us know why you're supporting a specific team and what you think will hold other teams back!
