No, that's not right; we got to know you for nine editions but it's time for our new prospects to take their place in the spotlight. With the Season 45 VHL Entry draft upcoming in a couple days, it opens the door for a new crop of prospects to impress scouts. The 46th VHL draft class features a ton of top end talent and surprisingly no goaltenders. Of course that can all change in time as declaring for this draft can be done up until the 45th season trade deadline. Why don't we go and meet our new prospects now and give a little introduction to them. A couple things to note as of this moment, no goaltenders are in this draft as we told you above. However, we do have a few forwards at the top which we didn't have the luxury of last season. There seems to be a rise in the amount of Canadian in this years draft class as opposed to last years class and years prior. Zach Parechkin seems to have the jump on the other prospects now, so we might be watching the battles behind him this year. 17 TPE separate the 2nd ranked prospects from the seventh ranked prospect. That statistic is one that may factor into our movement category a lot later on. Silly fact here, this draft features two players named after the men who they call dad.
