boubabi 4,725
Hello world As you may witness, I don't do gfx really anynore, I just don't find the time to do it honestly. I'm scheduled to do approx 50h of work every week without ''overtime''. I don't follow the league really, not that I don't want to, I just don't have the mindset to do so. What I can witness though is, Stockholm sucks, which was inevitable really. I must say, the logical choice was to sign elsewhere, but considering my attachement to the franchise, I'll rather give a 1st pik to Stockholm for one last time and just be over with it, Jackim deserves it and I enjoy loyal member. Therefore, I may be selfish, but this season sucks. I have the best player that ever played the VHL, but where are the ''Max Molholt S46 or whatever'' type of numbers ? If we follow the recent results, we may say that players with no one around him is the easiest way to boost some stats. After dominating the league in the boulet department, what is this shit ? I'm currently sitting in 6th position for hits....with a total of 158. What's the point of having 99 checking if I can't hit shit ? If we use some sort of logicial thinking, if Stockholm sucks, they won't have the puck much, which should give me higher chance to hit...which isn't the case. Point wise, I suck too, so there's that too. A big downer for me was the no consistency of the sim engine and it shows again. What's the point of putting effort into something if you can't get result. I'll rather go full ''Faux'' and welfare the shit out of my player and I'll get comparable numbers to superstar. Anyway, that may be why the blue team is adjusting the welfare program but meh. Anyway, that was my weekly shit rant Will 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/31273-bs-season/ Share on other sites

Higgins 3,618
There's a certain threshold of TPE for a top player probably 6-700 pre-depreciation, anything more is just extra icing and a cherry on top. DollarAndADream 3,356
Yeah, Parechkin has 80 Checking and is only 2nd to Valmount in 1st. Valmount is 91 Checking. Kinda nuts. Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/31273-bs-season/#findComment-349013 Share on other sites

boubabi 4,725
Adding physicality doesn't increase the hit amount. Ahma tried playing 4-1-0 in davos with valmount and he actually had less hits So not really Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/31273-bs-season/#findComment-349053 Share on other sites
Admin Victor 10,939 Posted June 11, 2016 Admin Share Posted June 11, 2016 To be honest this is the worst TPE whore I've seen. Generally any player with by far the most TPE dominates (Jonsson, Chershenko, Tukio, O'Malley) or at least is amongst the best. Karnage is just dreadful. Might change once you're traded though. It's really strange to be honest. Especially since he's on a bad team. Historically top end players like that do well on bad teams, even so much as to stat inflate. But goalies across the VHL are playing pretty good honestly, even with such high offensive numbers from the top teams. Those top teams are also pounding shots on the net at an alarming rate. Which could be another issue. Faceoffs has transformed into a way more serious stat that I feel it used to. How many guys above 60, guys in the top 10 from the same teams etc. If Stockholm only manages to throw 15 shots on net per game tough for Karnage to get points. And as much as I really feel for you Boubabi, I also kind of feel relieved about this revelation. Not anything actually against you, however I was one of the people always frustrated when a tanking team with one or two star power players always had the two top goal/point scoring type players on it. Again it felt like this fake stat padding type. Now that it's clear that isn't always going to happen, especially as the make up of the league changes/evolves I feel it allows us to actually recognize more properly the players who do put up great point totals. I'll be interested to see how Karnage performs after he's off Stockholm though, to see if it at least gives us any more understanding of what is causing this thus far.
