If Project 'Player 2' ever sees the light of day in the VHL, one of the more interesting parts will be how the league will initially adapt to allow users to create a second player. If the VHL were the wild west, we would allow anyone who wanted to, and was eligible, to create a secondary player. Luckily for us we can create rules to prevent this because it would ruin the league. Another way to decide who gets to create the first batch of second players would be the first ten users who post 'SHOTGUN' get priority. TOP TPE EARNERS The 10 eligible users who earn the most TPE with their current player over a set period of time, will be given priority to create a second player. If one of the top 10 declines then the 11th highest TPE earner would be granted priority. LOTTERY All users that are eligible and interested will be allowed to opt in to the second player lottery. The lottery would pull 10 users names out from the total pool of those users who opt in, and those 10 would be granted priority to create the first secondary players. While I would like to see the guys who put in the most work awarded, as they most certainly deserve it... it just makes more sense to put it into a lottery to get a proper mix, as Kendrick said.
