The debut album for the Toronto Legion defenseman and worldwide rap superstar is finally being released. Information had been tight lipped surrounding Black Velvet's rap career over the past 2 months, but he finally has released his first album. Titled 'Back 2 Black' the album is expected to reach the number one position on both the US and Canadian hot billboard. Black Velvet is known more for his lyrical genius, rather than his play on the ice. No tour is planned as of yet, but if you are located in a Toronto you should expect to see MC Black Velvet spit rhymes at the brass rail during off-days for the Legion. Since day one, Black Velvet has repped his hometown of Toronto, eventually being drafted by the Toronto Legion 1st overall in the S48 draft. Black Velvet released the sixth single on his album and it is titled 'Toronto', the one word that truly represents the multi-talented superstar.
