The most impressive teams so far are Russia and Belgium - i.e. the 2 teams who have faced some of the tournament's worst teams. Granted, Uruguay and England struggled more against those teams - still very inconclusive evidence.

 

Meanwhile, all the favourites are uninspiring to downright awful. Exciting stuff. And longest start to a World Cup without a 0-0!
