Thanks to the hard hitting journalistic work presented by one @DollarAndADream on Discord, it just dawned on me. After last nights sim, in which Pajari had 6 points in 3 games and had a burst of non scrubbyness including a 4 point first star win over the Seattle Bruins, something hilarious has just happened. Rookie Mikka Pajari, a 3rd fucking round draft pick has now put up more points in his rookie season (in 37 games played) than the entire season of 4th overall pick from S37 Logan Laich. Laich is remembered as one of the scrubbiest forwards of all time, who somehow later switched to D and won a Cup with Cologne as a depth player being carried by the legend that was Thomas O'Malley. (Thanks @Green

But it's true, Logan Laich had 6 goals and 6 assists for 12 points in his rookie season. Worse yet, Laich only had 20 points in his sophomore season. Which means the 22 points Pajari currently  has is good for better than either the first two seasons of Laichs career. You know what is super funny and random about that? Laich actually had more points into Scoring, in fact he probably had 80 or 85 scoring by the time he was in his second season. However his 60 skating is what really held him back, and it was a lesson to me and everyone, it doesn't matter what type of player you build. You have to put into skating to be any good in the VHL.

I'm looking forward to Pajari finishing with more points in his first season than Laich did in his first two, which is a milestone I'm sure I'll hit well before the 72 game plateau considering I only need like another 20 points to get there.

You're all welcome.
