Las Vegas Lands Top Waiver Prospect

As the world awoke Tuesday morning to find Santa's handiwork presented beneath their trees, a special gift was delivered to the Vegas Aces franchise. Their already powerhouse worthy roster added yet another elite talent in the form of Orion Slade. Slade is this off-seasons top waiver prospect and will be a very important member of Vegas' top six this season. Orion has made quick work of his off season amassing many hours during on and off ice training sessions. Orion will immediately slot into Vegas' second line. His line mates are yet to be set in stone but regardless; by adding Orion, Vegas has a lethal one-two punch in the form of their top two lines. The Aces are set to start the season tomorrow as the favourites over the likes of the other projected contenders; Oslo and Halifax. Ottawa is also on the map to contend but is likely the odd team out when looking at the four rosters mentioned.

Mitch Matthews (waiver signing, projected top line D)

Anthony Matthews (waiver signing, projected 2nd liner)

Giulio Raneri (waiver signing, questionmark thus far)

Orion Slade (waiver signing, projected 2nd liner with potential for top line minutes)

@Beaviss do you know how much we have in the league donation fund? I think for the betterment of the league we need to chip in toward corneal implants for Jubo.

Couldn't tell you that information is above my pay grade
