Kyl Oferson of the San Diego Marlins is the first player this season in the VHLM to hit 69 points, a very nice milestone. After a 9-1 thrashing of the Mississauga Hounds, his former team, Oferson hit exactly 69 points. In the game he scored 2 goals, and notched 2 assists for 4 points, coming just behind fellow teammate Roadkill Steve, who scored 4 and notched an assist and had an outstanding 20 shots. The next players on the verge of breaking the 69 point barrier are San Diego defenseman Roque Davis @Josh and Ottawa forward Ola Vikingstand, who have 67 and 66 points respectively.

Oferson currently leads the VHLM in points with 69, goals with 35, 2nd in +/- with +43, tied for 2nd in shorthanded goals with 3, is 5th in game winning goals with 5, and has notched 2 hatricks this season, all in 28 games. He's on pace to score 177 points this season, with 90 goals and 87 assists.
