It's bizarre that yesterday I was asking you all what your current favorite movie is and then today I wake up to find out that Sean Connery has died. Frankly, it wasn't surprising, given that he was 90 years old, but it is still heartbreaking nonetheless.

Now, I know this may seem repetitive, but I'm going to ask that you share with the community what your favorite Sean Connery movie is. Sure, there can be multiple, and yes you can just say "him as James Bond."

Out of all of the James Bond movies that I have seen (which is a lot) my favorite James Bond actor has always been Sean Connery. Beyond James Bond, I absolutely loved watching him in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

Here's a video that WatchMojo put together.

Boys, leave some Fs in the chat.

Legendary actor. Definitely will be missed by me and countless others. Just wish he didn't have that whole domestic abuse thing in his history. As a huge Bond fan, I was always darkly amused considering that Connery reportedly hit his wife, whereas Roger Moore got beaten up by his. Certainly reflective in the ways that they portrayed 007.

That's the truth!

RIP Connery he was a great actor in many things tbh. He carried lesser films (I have a soft spot for League of Extraordinary Gentlemen too but it wasn't that great of a film overall haha) and was obviously iconic in many roles. Bond is the obvious one as many have mentioned, but he was also great as Indy's Dad in Last Crusade as well. He was also in the now kind of hilarious to return to Highlander that also starred Christopher Lambert.

It's so weird because I was literally planning on sitting down to watch the film he won Best Supporting Actor for The Untouchables in a few days. Now it'll add even more meaning to the viewing I'd imagine.

@DeviseI agree, I think screening The Untouchables will now have a bit more meaning. Isn't it odd how much of a connection we feel to people who appear on television or even produce music? We almost never know them personally, yet we mourn their passing. It goes to show how much of an impact they can have on people.

As a big James Bond I was very sad to hear of his passing, that's 2 Bond actors gone now DX as for my favorite Connery Bond film.... From Russia with love was really good, probably go with that one. Most of his Bond films I've only watched once, need to fix that. Other than Bond saw him in the movie you mentioned, and the Rock.
