I was under the impression that the 'free week' you get is basically the Media Spot. In fact I'm not sure why it's worded like that but I see it as: Media Spot (advertised as free week for some reason) - 6 capped Bonus TPE - 8 or 5 uncapped @Beketov

Great write-up, thanks. Glad you focused quite a bit on his playoff performances as he was one of the greatest playoff performers ever. Most career playoff goals - a record which stood since S8!

This feels odd and unfamiliar.

What is going on hahaha, what a comeback.

Good job putting the snippets of information into paragraphs. And excellent 590 find.
-
Although the recent World Cup didn't follow that rule so who knows.
-
That's exactly why I asked - I know builder articles are not one and the same. @sterling is probably best placed to do Smarch tbh but isn't really in the builder article writing business atm.
-
Whoops completely forgot I read that when I was talking to Enorama. I figured he'd be the easiest one to talk about for a new guy. Do you think you can tackle Smarch? Will and Frank probably easiest for me unless someone else comes in for Frank but not doing them for a while anyway.

@SlapshotDragon are you still working on this? I know there is still formatting to finalise, but happy to do that myself when I transfer it to the HOF. Write-up and stats seems done?

I was wondering if anyone else liked doing the fade out of the intro song and glad to see you in the club. It might be very common actually, what do I know.

Pajariiiiiiiii what a time to score your first goal.

POLL: Who should be eligible for World Juniors?
Victor replied to Banackock's topic in VHL League Discussion
Not sure how many would pay attention with option 1 either. Or indeed option 2. People struggle to focus on the actual World Cup ffs. -

Actually voted not for what I intended which would have been option 1. Although my preferred is option 3 - just VHLM players. -

New York also has the second longest active playoffs streak at 4 seasons. An indication of the league's overall parity I guess - every franchise goes up and down and features on these lists. Apart from poor old Vasteras, they never got a good playoff streak going. And not that @Higgins needs an ego boost, but he has led Helsinki on both their longest playoff streaks, while their only notable drought came in between his GM stints.

That's brilliant, that's almost as good as the Rafa the magician gif.

Thank you @eaglesfan036 I can finally make a good player now.

I think the VHLM magazine should be published primarily by VHLM players. Like I'd be willing to help out every now and then, I'm sure some of the GMs would too - @diamond_ace used to write about the VHLM for the VHL mag and I think had made a temporary transition to the VHLM one. @Tagger maybe as well in his scouting capacity... just spitballing here. But I don't think there's any problem with core writers being VHLM guys - I see 11 interested guys just in this thread. Then when you move up to the VHL, I'm sure there would be scope to transition that to a full VHL mag and leave the VHLM mag as an opportunity for the next draft class. If the next class isn't as active, I guess it dies, but we'd probably have enough for a VHL mag. Basically, I don't think there is much hope resurrecting a VHL mag with a core of older members at this time, so the alternative is this grassroots approach where the first season will pretty much have to be VHLM-centric since I don't expect you guys to be hugely knowledgeable on the VHL yet.

Guys, fucking stop. You were actually making good points before you decided to regress back to the mean ffs. For what it's worth, I think Bana's counter-points are valid and though good in principle, I don't think this solves the issues it's trying to. Now STFU children.
