  1. wow. Yes of course S2 had Tommy Brown, fucking Smarch and his 3 cups in 3 seasons. That's slightly unexpected though not unbelievable. Good stuff.
  2. And now Stropko has 3 GWGs and Shock the other 1. It's happening!
  3. 2 hour turnaround between first and second sim is kinda shitty though...
  4. fuck you and your spoilers
  5. Holy shit what a game. And holy fuck Stropko. And omg Riga, 3 sweeps in 3 seasons. Really deserved better considering it was you guys who really made the conference so competitive these last 3 seasons.
  6. But Shock had the GWG...
  7. That's an interesting stat. Which two teams are those? I imagine S2 Wranglers and? Also not sure how it's relevant since Calgary definitely has cup winners on the team...
  8. @Devise22 Is this your suicide note?
  9. To (S41) C - Gifford Shock (S41) RW - Brady Stropko To S48 CGY 2nd S48 STO 3rd Regardless of what happens between now and the end of the playoffs, I am confident that the above will go down as trade of the season. Stockholm, seemingly on the cusp of glory in S43 and S44 before they were stymied by Cologne who refused to die, seemed completely dead when they slumped to the bottom of the EU conference immediately after because of the upstarts in Helsinki and Riga. Things hit a particular low when Blake Campbell left in free agency. And while we can point to the trade for Weinstein (and maybe even the S47 draft lottery) as the first sign of a turnaround, there were probably numerous members who still thought Davos would make the playoffs over the Vikings. This trade, though, it addressed a major issue. Stockholm went for star quality over depth before this season and it backfired spectacularly, way more, though less publicised, than for Quebec a few seasons earlier. It's almost a new team now, as the only remnants from S43 are Prince Karnage, 3 Moons and Von Karma, now with added depth. Good quality depth too as Shock and Stropko are probably the best inactives out there, even in their old age. And at what price! Those are two picks almost certainly lower than 16th overall and that is absolute pennies in today's market. Whisper it, but the Vikings may just be serious title contenders and this was a big reason why.
  10. Hey, I love it too but I'm not yet ready to post it when poor little Riga has suffered so much.
  11. Stockholm has a fan?!
  12. Offence just not good enough, it was always going to be an uphill battle when they joined the race in S45.
  13. It shouldn't be so bad the second time
  14. for the creation or for the slowly rising hype?
  15. Bushito, the leader of men.
  16. Skovgaard the most consistent Bear so far but Calgary just slightly better all around as expected.
  17. Tim TebowGow beats up Tyler Cote at 15:51 of 1st period Gow not too pleased about Cote leading Calgary to the cup in S44 apparently. Alternatively, 15:49 of 1st period - Tim TebowGow wins face-off versus Tyler Cote in Bears zone. 15:51 of 1st period - Tim TebowGow beats up Tyler Cote. way to rub it in Gow and Rathod outta nowhere!
  18. yeah Higgins you high as fuck
  19. to be quite frank homie?
  20. Ugh that bottom half. S47 was an abomination.
  21. Incredible story, I don't think I've ever heard anything like it. There's really not a fair balance in the amount of luck different people get.
  22. An honour to join you on this list.
  23. can we not @ me in the underrated members thread, I feel insecure
