  1. carryover is capped at 75 TPE
  2. about time. only took 4 seasons after i started complaining about it. what are the actual new rules? probably still too much TPE being given out. boom's guy is not all that bad. Karnage is the absolute worst in history in terms of recruitment abuse. No offense to boubabi because he did it within the rules, but he and I discussed what a joke it was how much TPE he was getting from recruitment...
  3. to be honest, I begged for the 100's of points of recruiting to be cut down a bit, but fell upon deaf ears. one person awards all that TPE and doesn't listen to any recommendations as to modifying the system. there are stupid little loopholes (i.e. Recruit a person 7 seasons ago? Wait for the next Recruiting Drive to start back up so you can double every single one of your recruiting milestones for that one player!!) the recruiting drive has made players untouchable at this point and it hasn't even increased league activity all that noticeably.
  4. time to switch up dose lines
  5. Rookie Profile – Freedom McJustice Name : Freedom McJustice Position : Left Wing Age : 21 Height : 6'4 Weight : 225lbs Handness : Left Hometown : Springfield, IL Team : HC Davos Dynamo His Start Freedom McJustice got his start in his hometown of Springfield, Illinois. As the hockey talent pool was not very deep in Central Illinois, the McJustice family moved north to the Northern suburbs of Chicago. He attended Fenwick Academy, one of the top hockey high schools in the state and led the team to a state championship in his sophomore season, before playing in AAA hockey, which disallowed players from playing in high school. After his high school graduation, McJustice went to the USHL where he was drafted by the Waterloo Black Hawks. He went onto dominate in the USHL, leading the league in goals scored and helping the Hawks secure the championship. He was signed by Davos in the S41 off-season and played his first VHL season in S42. Pros Skating: McJustice is a proven skater, using his large frame well to get up and down the ice. For a big player, he is extremely nimble on his feet. He takes long, powerful strides and gets up and down the ice very quickly. While he’s not Alexander Ovechkin, he moves more like Jonathan Toews up and down the ice with a very deliberate, strong motion. Scoring: Freedom, although he is not a flashy scorer, knows how to put the puck in the back of the net. Although he did not score at a high rate during his rookie season, expect him to be a top ten goal scorer at some point during his VHL career. McJustice has a strong presence in front of the net despite not being overly physical, and always works hard in the offensive zone. Puck Handling: For such a big man, the left winger has incredible hand-eye coordination. He’s not quite Patrick Kane, but he is incredibly skilled and can hold onto the puck while moving up ice. He’s a smart, possession player who doesn’t turn the puck over. Although he doesn’t play the same position, think Evgeni Malkin. Cons Strength: Despite his 6’4 frame being well filled out, listed at 225 lbs., McJustice is not particularly strong. Although his upper body is fairly strong, he could use some better strength in his legs. This would help him become an even more effective scorer, putting more pace on his shots and establishing better scoring position in front of the net – especially on the power play. Checking: As mentioned above, McJustice could use an improvement in terms of his physical play. While he usually positions himself well on defense, he doesn’t often force turnovers by laying a big hit. Coach Jack Reilly of HC Davos has cited McJustice for a “lack of intensity” in the past. Eventually, McJustice will have to develop a physicality to fill out his big frame. Passing: Although a very skilled forward, McJustice is yet to become an effective passer at the next level. The Dynamo coaching staff believe the ability to pass will come with experience, as the player matures. As he plays with the top line in Davos alongside great scorers in Kurtis Hunter and Devin Sundberg, his puck movement will be something he should focus on moving forward.

  15. Hello all, As commissioner of HC Davos, I would like to bring your attention to a very important matter regarding logos and branding. After a long, arduous off-season in which we kept boubabi in the Adobe SweatshopTM, we have finally settled on a new logo for the Dynamo. As is typical with Swiss culture, we had differing opinions and a lot of neutrality in general. It came down to the great David Knight's deciding vote, pushing us towards the emblem below. VHL Commissioners - I demand you update our logo; I furthermore demand somebody make us a new team bar for our locker room/roster/update thread section... and also for the link to our roster at the top of the mssage board. Thank you to boubabi for your hard work, and thanks to the Dynamo for being the coolest. [Please note: it is not confirmed which logo Munk voted for.] Blessings, Coach
