  2. Was planning on posting it as a 590, but miraculous the word count was long enough for a media spot.
  3. BIGGEST MOVERS: None 1 - Stockholm Vikings Strength of Schedule: 0.561 (Last Week: 1, High: 1, Low: 1) Not only are Stockholm leading the other frontrunners by at least two points, but they have done so facing much stiffer opposition. The Vikings have also already been able to secure two wins from the two games STO G has been in net. 2 - Helsinki Titans Strength of Schedule: 0.524 (Last Week: 2, High: 2, Low: 2) The only team that remains undefeated in regulation, Helsinki has one of the league's stiffest defenses allowing an European-low 21 shots on goal each game. Shaky goaltender Astrid Moon is in a nice run of form, having only allowed four goals in his last six games. 3 - New York Americans Strength of Schedule: 0.514 (Last Week: 3, High: 3, Low: 3) Jakab Holik began the season with five straight shutouts, and he has added three more since. Currently on a two-game shutout streak, if he can hold the Meute scoreless in the next game, the Czech netminder has a shot at another five-game shutout streak with the Bears and Dynamo on tap afterwards. 4 - Quebec City Meute Strength of Schedule: 0.510 (Last Week: 4, High: 4, Low: 4) Led by rookie John Locke who is tied for the league lead in goals, Quebec City are tied with the Americans atop the North American Conference. But like New York, they have both faced the weakest oppositions so far. They will visit the Americans later on today in the showcase match as Apollo Skye looks to limit the free scoring Americans' offense. 5 - Toronto Legion Strength of Schedule: 0.576 (Last Week: 5, High: 5, Low: 5) In the midst of a rebuild, rookies Torstein Ironside and Roman Sokolov have both played relatively well so far against some of the league's strongest teams. 6 - Riga Reign Strength of Schedule: 0.520 (Last Week: 6, High: 6, Low: 6) Points-wise, Riga are currently the best of the rest, but I see Cologne leapfrogging them in the not-so-near future once the schedule tilts in the Germans' favour. 7 - Cologne Express Strength of Schedule: 0.540 (Last Week: 7, High: 7, Low: 7) Rookie Markus King is coming off a 22-save shutout against rival Torstein Ironside's Toronto Legion, but the next nine games do not look good for the Express as they will play Quebec City four times, Stockholm three times, and Helsinki and New York once each. 8 - Calgary Wranglers Strength of Schedule: 0.581 (Last Week: 8, High: 8, Low: 8) Yes, Jacob is being bombarded with quality shots to the tune of a league-high 45 shots against per game, but they have only played once against Seattle and have yet to play Davos. I expect them to crawl out of the bottom spot very soon once their strength of schedule reverts to average levels. Trust the process. 9 - HC Davos Dynamo Strength of Schedule: 0.554 (Last Week: 9, High: 9, Low: 9) Not much to say about the Dynamo except for the fact that they won't be adding anything to their trophy cabinet this year, or next year too, to supplement their league-best nine Continental Cups. 10 - Seattle Bears Strength of Schedule: 0.521 (Last Week: 10, High: 10, Low: 10) This Seattle Bears team is having serious troubles scoring goals, and having let Jakab Holik leave as a free agent, rookie Aleksei Federov seems to be the lone bright spot. It will be quite hard for Seattle to move up in the power rankings next week, but at least that means the only way is up right?
  4. It was fun before you revealed you were HFD I guess. Active af first gen for once.
  5. Three Las Vegas defensemen (and @Smarch) are in the top four spots for the league's assists leaderboard! Friendly reminder only two defensemen are on the ice at one time! Depth! Quality! No lube rape! Fucked from behind! @Ahma @Frank @Advantage

  6. Hopefully, we have not peaked yet. Unfortunately, I think those two 7-0 shutouts of Oslo is going to be the high of the season (honestly). BTW, is Tordahl the player on your BOOM account and Fujimoto your Project Two on ASIANBOOM?
  7. Very. Hurry up and get your GM to send me the money for fixing the game.
  8. Weekly power rankings coming soon! Strength of schedule calculated for all teams. Check it out here!

  9. So the first week of S54 is done, and I had this cool idea for a MS/590. Basically I will do a weekly power ranking, but I spent literally two to three hours setting up a spreadsheet to calculate each team's strength of schedule, which I will include in each week's rankings. I just did it because I was curious to find out each team's strength of schedule, and it was a good exercise for me to maintain and sharpen my Excel skills. Because it took longer than expected to set up, I haven't been able to do the actual writing yet. I hope to get to it tomorrow morning before work, but in the mean time, feel free to enjoy the first power rankings and see each team's strength of schedule. ------------------------- BIGGEST MOVERS: None 1 - Stockholm Vikings Strength of Schedule: 0.561 (Last Week: 1, High: 1, Low: 1) 2 - Helsinki Titans Strength of Schedule: 0.524 (Last Week: 2, High: 2, Low: 2) 3 - New York Americans Strength of Schedule: 0.514 (Last Week: 3, High: 3, Low: 3) 4 - Quebec City Meute Strength of Schedule: 0.510 (Last Week: 4, High: 4, Low: 4) 5 - Toronto Legion Strength of Schedule: 0.576 (Last Week: 5, High: 5, Low: 5) 6 - Riga Reign Strength of Schedule: 0.520 (Last Week: 6, High: 6, Low: 6) 7 - Cologne Express Strength of Schedule: 0.540 (Last Week: 7, High: 7, Low: 7) 8 - Calgary Wranglers Strength of Schedule: 0.581 (Last Week: 8, High: 8, Low: 8) 9 - HC Davos Dynamo Strength of Schedule: 0.554 (Last Week: 9, High: 9, Low: 9) 10 - Seattle Bears Strength of Schedule: 0.521 (Last Week: 10, High: 10, Low: 10)
  10. LOL only player with no shots on goal, and only two shots total.
  11. Nah I'm not worried. Just some random, semi-sarcastic Sloboradar and Vegas hype more than anything.
  12. At this point, I think the rest of the league will erupt in celebration if we end up losing even only one game in the regular season.
  13. A hat trick and still "sucks less"? What is an acceptable performance for Fujimoto?!
  14. Hi Anderson. That quote makes it seem like this new member with 13 posts seem very knowledgeable about the complexities of the league. Are veteran members creating duplicate accounts to take down Vegas?! Edit: And recruited by Symmetrik, an agency who created Kinkaid over a full month ago, but has only done a rookie profile, two VHLM practice facilities, and two welfare claims during that time. @BobertZ
  15. It's back to the 70's weekend at T Mobile Arena as your undefeated Las Vegas Aces host the Oslo Storm for a double-header. If the Aces win both games this weekend 7-0 again, all fans in attendance will get a $7,777 free play voucher at the Bellagio, so get your tickets now!

If any Aces player gets a combined seven points over the double-header, 7 lucky fans will be called down to the ice at the conclusion of the second game and get autographed game-worn jerseys off the players' backs!

And if the Aces shutout the Storm for both games, Vernon Von Axelberry will be giving away his game-used stick at the conclusion of the second game.

  16. Is this recruitment drive with massive incentives the league's way of trying to take Vegas down?

Ottawa lost 7 games bro. They swept the playoffs. Teams had no shot at beating them. That was a super team. If you can't admit that you are more stupid then I thought. No one had an issue with Jardy and his super team. But people care when I have one.

My whole super team hinged on me keeping V2A under 200 and me acquiring him. Not my fault you traded him to me. If you didn't i would have no goalie. Yes V2A would be in the VHL fissure because he would have no reason to play in Oslo but that's not the point. My point is you traded me the goalie I needed knowing that I very well will have a super team.

Pretty sure I'm not on Vegas. I always post in game threads. :)

  17. What a game by Rudi Ying! Thanks @ASIANBOOM and @Tyler for being so clinical!
  18. Alright @Rowe89 hope it's the start of good things for you.
  19. So what was the prize for the Friday egg just wondering
  20. @ASIANBOOM with another 2 goals! And Fong is a beast. Only goalie so far to allow less than four goals against the Aces
  21. 2 goals on 4 shots in the second period lol
  22. Quiet game by @DollarAndADream
