  1. I meant they could go take Fook Yu 1st overall and then take Ironside in the 2nd or 3rd round right?
  2. Good to know... Things in the VHL sometimes are as transparent as the MLS.
  3. We can sort out the details later, can't be too much.
  4. Sad, can't even get in on the action. Update my damn passing! @Higgins
  5. So if Ironside has to go to Toronto because he is the GM, what's to stop the Legion from picking Ironside with their last pick of the draft?
  6. LOLZ thanks for that. Scott Anderson and Yan Feng each with a GWG. Interesting
  7. Nah I doubt he would have the stuff I was looking for. One of the things I wanted to see was how Anderson made out haha. All I remember was him dominating with Tyler Vassell for Ottawa, and he finally made the VHL because I remember being part of the NY Shortbus era.
  8. Oh... Heck of a lot of stuff from the early seasons are gone. Was trying to find some info for a MS last week...
  9. Oslo, Brampton, Saskatoon EDIT: Let's not be so optimistic here. Final submission is Oslo, Brampton, Yukon
  10. Speaking about the old board why didn't the stuff from the z11.invisionfree.com/VHL get ported over?
  11. So it looks like grading has changed from the old days to just reviewing now... Looking for a media spot grader? I need an excuse to read media spots and increase my knowledge of the league. Ask the old people if you need a background check of my grading abilities and how anal I could be. @DollarAndADream
  12. Nice hat trick, Brampton D.
  13. With the Brampton Blades picking up a 4-3 win over the Ottawa Lynx in the latest matchday, the Lynx's seven-game winning game has been snapped. Ironically, the streak started with Ottawa bouncing back from a 2-1 shootout loss to the Blades on matchday 64. Ottawa, who has a league-leading 105 points, have only lost six games all season, however half of those losses (three) have come at the hands of provincial rivals Brampton. While Ottawa is leading the second-placed Yukon Rush by 19 points, and the third-placed Brampton Blades by 20 points, they have not clinched top seed for the playoffs yet. In their 15 remaining games, seven wins will ensure the Lynx get home-ice advantage throughout the Coca-Cola S54 VHLM Playoffs. The Blades and Lynx will face-off five more times in the remainder of the season, with four of the games taking place at the Blades' arena. While Ottawa is still expected to finish atop the leaderboards, experts have predicted that the current 20-point gap between the two Ontario teams will be no larger than 15 by the end of the season.
  14. GOOD WIN BRAMPTON!!! 1:42 of 2nd period - Shot by Clarence Fong. 1:42 of 2nd period - Goal by Clarence Fong - Ottawa Lynx : 1 - Brampton Blades : 1.
  15. Can't be 1 million when the minimum offer is 500k and the max is 2 million...
  16. VHL must have thousands in the bank looking at how much people donate $20 every season...
  17. My honest opinion is that the VHLM looks to be like the real-life WHL, OHL, and QMJHL where teams just decide to tank for a year or two and then aim for a year to push for the trophy. Also, how much money do teams get for the waiver wire to sign players mid-season?
  18. Player Name: Clarence Fong VHL Team: Brampton Cash you have: $500,000 Purchase Name: First Generation Cost of Purchase: $500,000 Cash Left: $0
