  1. Probably missing a few people but no time to look now @Jericho @Advantage Give this thing a listen (skip the 2-minute intro to save some time) and be as shocked as I am. Totally different DT and it's shocking that Trollfecta and the guy in the podcast is the same person. He sounds almost perfectly educated here and is very respectful to his competition.
  2. Maybe you could have made your job a bit easier by picking up four more this season. I mean if Power can get a shutout, Holik* can too. Then you'd be at 24* this season.
  3. All crime stats should be regular season only.
  4. Maybe for S54. I got a load of defensemen and not ready to do a Calgary here.

  6. So the first six players have just been named - Jakab Holik, Bobby Digital, Pietro Maximoff, Franchise Cornerstone, Fook Yu, and Takashi Fujimoto. As a preliminary objective, Team World will be doing its best to earn a medal this tournament.
  7. Congratulations to Jakab Holik, Bobby Digital, Pietro Maximoff, Franchise Cornerstone, Fook Yu, and Takashi Fujimoto for being the first six players named to S54 Team World!

Astrid Moon is the only player totally out of consideration at this point.

  9. Rookie general manager Rudi Ying today confirmed the participation of six players for his World Cup roster. With teams allowed six forwards, four defensemen, and two goalies, half of the Team World roster is now complete. The players, as confirmed by Ying, who will be suiting up for Team World this offseason are Czech Jakab Holik, Ukrainian Bobby Digital, Romanian Pietro Maximoff, Mongolian Franchise Cornerstone, Hong Konger Fook Yu, and Singaporean Takashi Fujimoto. Having named four forwards, one defenseman, and one goalie so far, the other eligible candidates will be in heated competition vying for the remaining two forward positions, three defensemen positions, and backup goalie position. With forwards such as veteran Felipe Rodriguez, rookie sensation Fredinamijs Krigars, third-year Conrad Jenkins, and VHLM superstar Slava Aleksei still on the table, it will be interesting to see what goes through Ying's mind in the upcoming days as he narrows down his options and picks his last two forwards. While there are three defensemen positions still up for grabs, the battle on the blue line is no less intense than the battle up front with at least four veterans and two youngsters in contention - Guntis Petenis, Pavel Komarov, Maksym Barnyashev, Alexander Thrower, Aleksei Federov, and Roman Sokolov. Goaltenders lining up to back up defending Shaw winner Jakab Holik are Ilya Kopralkov, Edwin Threencarnacion, Jacob, and Artom Zhumbayev. Rumours are swirling that despite Shanghai native Astrid Moon's excellent season for the Helsinki Titans this season, his name will not be under consideration for Team World as long as Ying has the final say.
  10. So who is the GM for Team Mercenaries? I know the roster is finalized after the other five teams finalize theirs, but GM as well...?

  11. Busy day at work and I come back to see the thread locked :(

  12. As far as I know everybody shutted up after your save percentage climbed over .900
  13. Man you can't even go a full season without getting into fights and stuff of that sort
  14. S1 VHL Entry Draft 1st overal, and first ever, pick - Robert Sharpe*
  15. Same reason Vegas signed a shit ton of goalie backups too probably
  16. Yukon gets the last laugh? The Yukon Rush ended the season on a high note with two straight shutout wins: 3-0 at home to Oslo and 7-0 away at Vegas. A key part in the renaissance as of late has been the contributions from their late-season additions, namely Fuk D. World, Key Perought (affectionately named as Phuckin Phucked), and Ho Lee Fook. After the trade between the Rush and Aces to acquire the former two players, these bad ass motherfuckers have gotten acclimatized to their teammates and new environment, as Yukon won 12 of their last 20 games to end the season. Had they been performing at this rate the entire season, they would find themselves second place in the standings. Unfortunately due to their horrendous start, they are stuck in last place. Fortunately, they will still get a chance to redeem themselves with a five-game playoff series against the fourth-placed Ottawa Lynx for a chance to meet top seed Las Vegas in the semi-final series. Fuk D. World has scored 27 points in 27 games with the Rush, which is a big jump from his 22 points in 41 games with Las Vegas. He has seen more than four minutes of ice time per game, as he transitions from a supporting role with the Aces to a leading role with Yukon. Key Perought, who only received four starts for Las Vegas while sitting on the bench for a further 24 games, has started all 27 of his appearances for the Rush and posted a respectable 12-13-2 record in his short tenure. His Yukon save percentage of .905 and GAA of 3.00 are both an improvement over his stats from Las Vegas despite a much weaker defense in front of him. This shows he has grown leaps and bounds since the trade and maybe the rough time he had in Vegas gave him a further drive to succeed and prove his doubters wrong. And finally rookie addition Ho Lee Fook has a goal and nine assists for ten points in only six games, and he will be a force to be reckoned with next season for whoever drafts him in the upcoming VHLM Dispersal Draft. And going back to the second-last game of the season for Yukon where they dismantled Las Vegas 7-0 in front of their home fans... Yukon were just dominant in every aspect of the game, as despite both teams recording 24 shots on goal, Key Perought stopped all 24 of those shots for a shutout while veteran netminder Vernon Von Axelberry allowed a shocking seven goals on 24 shots. Every Yukon skater except aside Evgeni Turakov recorded at least a point, and four Rush players had over three points on the evening. Yukon was clinical on even strength, and took advantage on the powerplay, especially with Ho Lee Fook getting his first goal of the season with Yukon having a 5-on-3 advantage. Aces like Peter Quill and Dexter Lane were a -3 on the night, while defensive stalwart Luka Volkov, hyped prodigy Rudi Ying, and Asian sniper Takashi Fujimoto all recorded a horrendous -4 rating. Note: Yeah, the piece wasn't written that well in terms of flow, as it had a bit of everything, but what can you do? Take a TPE off me? 6 TPE for Ying.
  17. @Higgins @Will @Frank @Banackock The bouncer kicked him out so please let him in
  18. Seeing how it doesn't affect standings, I think if any punishment or remedy the max should be HSK G playing a game in the playoffs, if at all. And then the shutouts leader for the season reads Jakab Holik 20 and Astrid Moon 20* since Moon got a 2-0 shutout over the Bears in the last game of the season
  19. Do you have access to the Vegas locker room? It should be at the top of the forum if you do
  20. Same reason why Riga will kill Helsinki man, can't overlook RIG D4's 1.80 P/20!
  21. Might wanna take a look at this before the playoffs? @Higgins
