  1. I get ya. Still would've been fun if I could have shared line duties with you and Thunder fist...three scrappy bastards on the blue line!
  2. 1. With work, school, family and a shit load of Reno's to do on my house, garage and cottage my time is limited. To have a decent player here you need to spend more energy than I can give. I'll stay on though to do reviewing to help out. 2. Probably the interaction of the members and seeing how our creations have turned out each season. 3. Not really but maybe only some on the merits of how much TPE he's earned. Hopefully I get him to 1200+ but I'm losing motivation. 4. I like to see what the artistic side and imagination of the members come up with in their gfx and articles. It gives you a little insight into their character and whom they are as individuals. 5. Totally to help the team but I had designs on maybe finishing as a defence man about half way through my career. Team player here man. Thanks so much for the questions Oil!
  3. Unfortunately I guess you won't be replacing me when I retire at the end of this season. Too bad, as you would have been a great Seattle player to fill my shoes.
  4. We have to tighten up our defence, or drink beer...I choose the latter.??
  5. I think we're all done now? Anyways just in case @ShawnGlade
  6. Of course! ?
  7. Happy to have you aboard. I'm guessing you'll be my future replacement when I retire at the end of the season.
  8. Hi Matt: I would focus TPE on Puck Handling, Scoring and Defence with secondary focus on Passing, Checking, Skating and Strength. I really wouldn't waste my time on the other attributes as they're less of a factor. Focus on the first three and try to get them to at least 80 + and then work on the other four attributes, then your player will be even better offensively. Try to earn your max 12 capped TPE each week, along any available uncapped TPE you can earn here. As for the reputation question, Idk but get involved in the topics here. Nice to meet you!
  9. Nice game by Charm and Sterling! Way to play team.
  10. F - Rocktrion King @Elhandon
  11. F - Vyacheslav Smirnov @Tagger
  12. What owes to Seattle's strong start this season? It seems that a number of the Bears have awoken from their hibernation from last year. Players like Matt Thompson, Vyacheslav Smirnov, Maxim Kovalchuk and Otto Axelsson have upped their offensive output early on in the season, while The Charm has been a fine replacement for the retired future hall of famer Gabe McAllister. The rest of Seattle's members have been fairly steady but a few could pick up their game play a little more which would add to an already solid offensive club. Right now Seattle has the most potent offense in the league leading with 57 tallies but are average in the goals against department with 40 against Sterling. If this club can tighten up their defensive play and improve their special teams play the Bears could most definitely be in the finals this year fighting for the cup. Which teams will be a possible challenge to Seattle for the cup this year? Well Riga and Toronto at this point are both playing well and vying for the top spot in the standings but as it is, they're getting most of their offense from one line on each club while the Bears have two solid lines going. But as we all know, anything can and will happen during the regular season. My money goes on Seattle for a cup final if they continue to get production from most of their players. Word Count: 242
  13. Nice V again guys'.
  14. Toronto Riga Seattle Calgary
  15. Toronto 3 - 2 OT
  16. Ah, he was being a lil disrespectful so I gave em some of tough love.
  17. Two assists, two fights, ten to two win and an ejection from the game...I love it!!
  18. Close game at least.
  19. 1. So what personal goals do you hope to accomplish with your player? 2. Do you plan on sticking around until your players retirement ? 3. How would you describe your style of play and what are your strong suits bs weak points in your game? 4. Gretzky or Lemieux and why? 5. Is there any pre game ritual that you follow?
  20. 1. Well not that I wanna toot my own horn but I think I am underrated somewhat. 2. Yes I do, 1980's D man from the NHL's New York Islanders Denis Potvin. The first Defence man in NHL history to get a 1000 points and a 1000 penalty minutes. 3. Yup. Although the game is a great distraction and keeps my mind busy on down time, it takes over a year in real time to compete a career. I Started this league last summer and I'm just finishing up Kiaskov's final season. 4. I think pretty good. Even though we've lost McAllister to retirement, the Charm will fill his spot quite nicely. 5. Last year I felt I should have garnered at least a few votes but I've noticed ballot voting is slightly biased and favoured toward the more popular players.
  21. D - David Kiaskov F - Veran Dragomir @Spade18 I believe.
