Enjoy the background arena and making the player gargantuan in comparison. The whole SIG was bold in contrast with good saturation. A lighten of the SIG overall would take away some of the darkness in the render. Like the idea you used different. Colored font with a border around it to make it pop more. I see where you were going with the shadow effect but it doesn't work for me. Would rather there be more manipulation of the SIG as a whole. Without trying to sound critical, its basically a stock pic with shadow effect, an enlarged player with added font. Still nice MW, but I'd like to see more creativity...more imagination put into it. And a logo swap would be cool as well. For a simple render its still quite nice.!

Is the VHL SOFT like the SHL Now with its Perma Bans
Exlaxchronicles replied to eaglesfan036's topic in The Thunderdome
So this is an open discussion thread ? Ok, I'll throw my two cents in: I agree with what Bushito said about everyone whining. It's this PC liberal sjw generation who have been brain washed and molded by the system. Entitled crybaby beta cucks whom are triggered and offended at any and every little thing that they don't agree with. So when they don't get their spoiled little way the tantrum begins and they vent through social media and protest to push their agenda's. I believe the earth goes through cyclical changes ie. warming/cooling and we may be on a warming cycle. I also believe though that carbon emissions are speeding up the natural warming cycle that the planet is going through. I believe Bettman is tapping into the American market because he wants revenue for the league and he probably lines his pockets as well. He's the idiot that had introduced the glowing puck for a period and it was a disaster. I also think he had a hand in removing the two line pass and brought in the OT shoot out which detracts from the original game. Vaccinations, are controversial and I think for example a pneuomoccial shot for sufferer's of COPD may be beneficial like myself, but I don't think you really need flu shots or bird flu shots etc. My former physician told me outright that the flu shot/pneuomoccial shot is pretty safe but those other shots they push the public to take on tv are bs. Remember the H1N1 and the Aisan Bird Flu empidemic? He told me both drugs were passed by the FDA and Canada's own version of the FDA. He told me not to take either ( he wouldn't take em ) because the pharmaceutical companies that made the vaccines only tested them on pigs for six months. He said you don't know wtf was in them and what long term effects they would have. And all the free inclusive conferences he gets are paid for by the drug companies. It's all about them making $$ and a lot of the drugs are worse than their benefits. -

Nice Bush nice! Like the filter you have on the goalie, it gives him that comic art appeal. Once again not my favorite font but it looks awesome in placement and angle along his arm. Well thought out! Your celestial back drop layered over the background looks really good. There is enough separation between everything so visually its all eye catching with nothing overpowering any piece of the SIG. Shes a beaute! 6/6

Like his you've angled his shoulder with the background pattern on the right. Not really a fan of that font style and color. Maybe it could be pushed to the right more as it looks a little cluttered where it is. Nice contrast and saturation with clarity to everything. And the lighting is good as well. Would be cool to see a logo swap on the jersey for more realism. Pretty good SIG Bush.

Well S63 has passed and with future hall of famer Gabriel McAllister retiring from the league he is sure to win another trophy for his outstanding at with the Bears this season. He will sorely be missed by the organization. Now with him riding out into the sunset after a highly respectable career, Seattle needed to plug the hole left by the elite playing McAllister. So with that GM Banackock was able to make a trade bringing in the star center The Charm from HC Davos. As a player he is a solid performer who spends little time in the sin bin and excels in the face off department. Charm was already a point per game player with HC so he should at least hit those numbers if not higher playing with his new line mates. GM Banackock will most likely play him on the first line but a bit if line juggling could be in order to see whom he gels with. So even though Seattle loses the offensive out put with McAllister, The Charm should fill that void quite nicely. Welcome aboard Charm! Word count: 183

Pretty stacked draft this year. Should be a few good ones and also a few diamonds in the rough.

Post Playoffs =========== Well this season has come and gone and it goes without saying that Seattle's play in the playoffs were a little disappointing. With the amount of talent this club had in terms of star power and depth, they by all means underachieved come playoff time. But then again, that's the way the cookie crumbles or should I say the sim rolls. Anyways there were a few positives this season starting with McAllister having a tremendous year stats wise as he goes into retirement. He should be a shoe in for trophy of the year. This is a bitter sweet year for him as he leaves without a cup but is sure to bring home some hardware. Axelsson had his highest point total with 63 this year and picked up his game at the end of the season. He also performed admirably in the post season as well. Thunder Fist came into his own as well hitting the double digits in points and progressing at a steady pace in the second year. If he continues his course Mountain will be a force to be reckoned with. Winger Jake Davis also had an upswing to his second season with a jump of 14 points to 84 from his inaugural season. He was solid in the playoffs as well. Coming over to Seattle through the trade route defence man Malenko also had a strong season hitting 92 points, up from 74 in his rookie debut. He was definitely an asset to the club all year with his solid all around game. In his second last season before he retires, right winger turned defence man David Kiaskov had a stellar year on the blue line scoring 85 points, his highest totals in his career. Due to depreciation next season he may be hard pressed to reach or surpass those numbers. We'll have to wait and see. He may garner a few votes for best defensive defence man this year. All of Seattle's players had solid seasons, unfortunately the dreaded sophomore jinx cursed a number of their big stars this year. Most hardest hit were defence man Maxim Kovalchuk while still having a respectable year, dropped 52 points in mostly assists. In reality, its pretty hard to repeat what some of these players achieved in their rookie seasons so there's no shame in their offensive output's this year. RW Sergei Kovalev also fell to the curse with his point total dropping from 91 down to 66. Still solid numbers but hopefully he'll rebound come next season and improve upon those numbers. Taking the biggest hit from the sophomore jinx was center Vyacheslav Smirnov with a massive point total drop of 61 from his stellar rookie year of 149 points. He scored 25 goals less this year but he wasn't the only member to suffer in this department. LW Matt Thompson in his third year was hard pressed to try and match let alone surpass his sophomore season of a 150 points. He still had a very good year though with goal totals of 51 and 102 points. Even with the improved play of goalie Roger Sterling hitting a .920 sv ℅ and 2.34 gvg and the positive additions of a few new players, it wasn't enough for the team to overcome the hot hands of Riga and Calgary. Both clubs were even in the regular season but Riga came on strong at years end and Calgary seemed to find the wholes in Seattle's game during the playoffs. With McAllister retiring next year, it leaves a big hole in the line up. Hopefully the club can find a suitable replacement, be it through UFA, trades, the draft or having some of the team players rebound and improve upon their play for the up and coming season.
