  1. Good game. Man Kovalev is struggling.
  2. 1. What do you think of the league thus far, and do you see yourself continuing on in the game for a long time? 2. You play hockey in real life? 3. Gretzky or Lemieux and why? 4. What don't you like about this game so far? 5. What type of after game alcohol do you consume? Or do you the blunt?
  3. 1. What do ya think of the VHL so far? 2. Any personal goals that you wish to accomplish with your player? 3. What color tape do you use on your stick and why? 4. Do or have you ever played hockey in real life? 5. Any hockey superstitions you follow?
  4. You brought me into the VHL fold ( So thanks for that! ) as I followed you from Metroho, and we both carved out solid career's with each over a 1000 TPE. That's pretty damn good for first gens, so congrats to us both and cheers ????
  5. It's hard to come up with something to write about every week so since I'm self absorbed and slightly narcissistic I'll write about my player David Kiaksov. As a first generation player I believe Kiaskov is some what under valued and under appreciated. He is by no means a "popular" player like say Gabe McAllister or a Keaton Louth for example, nor does he garner much attention unless it comes to trade talks but he has managed to carve out a solid if unspectacular career throughout his time with the VHL. The winger turned defence man has been a steady presence, playing his two way game sharing both first and second line duties as a forward and pairing up on the second line on defence with the Bears. Kiaskov has spread his playing out over four clubs: first being drafted after moving up eight spots to fourteenth by Davos and then subsequently traded to Quebec where he played two full seasons. He tallied 56 goals and 62 assists for 118 points over that time period. Kiaskov was also a regular in the sin bin averaging 116 penalty minutes each year. After that he was moved to New York as a rental player, with the team hoping his gritty two way play could help propel the club to a Continental Cup, but to no avail. Kiaskov had another solid year potting 31 goals and 45 assists in yet back to back 76 point seasons. New York wentscoring d on their rebuilding phase so Kiaskov again was shipped off to where he was originally drafted...HC. Here the right winger once again had another 76 point year adding 26 goals and 50 assists. Once his Davos season was over, Kiaskov entered FA and decided to sign with Seattle as GM Banackock expressed the most interest in him and had offered the best deal. After signing on the dotted line he was asked if he would be willing to switch back to defence which was his original position he had started when playing organized hockey. Kiaskov had entertained the idea of a position switch before he retired so he was more then willing to accommodate the team. Lining up on the second line with Thunderfist Kiaskov had a terrific season scoring 12 goals and a career high of 73 assists. He also had a league high +70 in the +/- category and one of the leagues better shot blockers with 105. Although there were no considerations for best defence man of the year he was more than a suitable candidate. This year so far he's tallied 6 goals and 17 assists in 27 games and has amassed 97 PM, 52 hits and 38 shot blocks. It appears he is on mark for another point per game season. David is now in his final year of contract and he retires after this season, so it would be icing on the cake if Seattle could win a Continental Cup. David Kiaskov GP - 387 G - 131 A - 247 PTS - 378 TPE - 1122 fourteenth on all time list. Awards Christian Stolzschweiger Trophy: Top Rookie Of The Year VHL S59. Quebec Meute. 6. JG: Keep working on your TPE and you'll have the opportunity for ice time so don't give up and quit updating!?
  7. Probably not. Kovalev should be playing better than he is and I need to stop taking PM and up my offence. With these fixes we would step up our play. Are all our members active?
  8. Well I may slowly be drumming up some interest over at Metroho about signing up here. I think members here should at least go take a look around the site and leave their opinions here. Maybe an association with that league would work if both site members earned TPE for joining each others sites.
  9. I know PIA Shamrocks applied to be an admin there and he hasn't heard any responses either. There is a small core of players though keeping the ship afloat. Maybe there is a way we can appeal to the leftover Metroho players to join here and VHL members could be persuaded to do the same there to bolster that site and earn some TPE. It would have to be ok'd by the BOG here though. I don't think there's any harm in at least trying.
  10. Solid V! Revchenko ya shit...you bitch slapped me this game! ? Next scraps mine!
  11. Too close for comfort.
  12. Lets win the cup this year guys'
  13. Lets keep it up boys.
  14. I was just kidding. I'm sure there are better.
  15. That would be David Kiaskov
  16. Why don't we start an affiliation with the Metroho league like we have with the SHL? That game is decent but struggling for members right now. We could have some set up similar to what we have here with the SHL. Maybe have members here join and play in the Metro league and earn TPE for doing it and vice versa for the Metro players joining the VHL. We may trickle a few members either way and in the end everybody benefits. What do you members think?
  17. 1. Where did u hear about this glorious game? 2. What personal goals do u hope to accomplish with your player? 3. What do you hope to improve upon in your attributes? 4. What color tape do u prefer on your blade? 5. Do u plan on sticking around for the long haul game wise?
  18. NY Riga Que Seattle
