  2. These all look pretty professional. Top one is really nice looking. Good placement of the snake and double layered font, it looks blurry which is cool. Nice style snake logo as well. Not so sure about the red border it seems the wrong color and doesn't contrast enough for me. I think black might look good bit it still looks great. Second logo is simple in color and I like the smaller font. The larger isn't bad bit not my fave. Nice design. Haterade logo has more of a comic feel to it but is nice looking. The flame blended in is nice. Wonder what it would look like if there was an angry face in place of the flame. My fave out of all of them. It just looks professional to me. Really like the break up of the blue theme with the red font thrown in. Nice two styles fonts and like the star border around the fonts. Real nice!
  3. Over all a nice job on the player card! Decent background color behind the player with the worn scratch marks on the back. Like the player crop with the white border around him to contrast from the back drop. Good job with the stats side of the card but I found his personal stats a little too dark on the black background. Something's missing, to me the card seems a little too dark over all in hue, there's not enough color contrast to it all. Still a sweet render though.
  4. Think a nice border around the render would give it a nice touch visually. Nice blur effect with the background crowd which off sets the sharper image of the player. I find the brightness of the ice needs to be darkened some what as its too glaring and distracts from the whole SIG. Digging the grey n green hue around his body and equipment. Def not my fave style font but you used a good dark contrasting color against the brightness of the ice. Maybe added thickness to the font would help. Nice render but would like to see more imagination thrown into it.
  5. Your first one I think would look better with a more realistic shaped green can as its too much one dimensional. Over all I'm not a big fan of it The ice blades logo is cool looking and although I'm not so much high on the font style, angle and color its really not that bad. Think I would've angled it to the right and maybe have a skate blade under and blend with the font some how. The third logo looks professional to me with the four hue toned runner and the plain but good looking font positioned at his feet. I think you have a winner with this one. All in all good work Arthur.
  6. Like the two styled borders especially the top n bottom. The background is nice and the player is distinguished enough to separate from the back drop. My knock on this render is that its too soft pallet looking. I'm not sure if you've used an exposure on it but to me there isn't enough contrast, color hue, saturation. Maybe that's the look you were going for I don't know. I really like the font style as its classy looking. The light source at his head sort of doesn't seem right. The SIG looks to be like a black and white render with a purple hue all throughout which kinda takes away from the nice look of the design to me. Over all cool design but too soft in focus. ?
  7. CCN logo is pretty good. Wondering though if the middle letter would add more aesthetics to the whole if there was a break in the center of it. Hehe, the added mouth opening and blood was a cool touch. Might've been cool to see a few teeth in there as well. The OA is good. The whole render kind've reminds me of some type of nuclear or Illuminati symbol or some other shit like that. Over all, all three are good designs Bek.
  8. Gotta love the old school black and white shit! Would've looked extra cool if you could've placed it inside of an old console TV as a border frame! His name is actually pretty close to how it word have appeared on the old television's back in the 70's, even with the pink drop shadow so nice touch Donno! Good cut n paste of the player in both renders with a decent background for both of em. Didn't like the light source in the top one as it seemed too bright, maybe if it was toned down some what. The vhs distortion was good but for on what I recall from my vhs player ( yes I still have one! ) most of the screen distortion looked more like the too half from his shoulders up. Pretty damn good facsimile though if I do say so myself! You did a pretty good job on these but I would like to see you keep moving forward and keep progressing Good render!
  9. Without a doubt. 6/6 Boom! That plain background suits the rich saturation of the player. Almost centered perfectly so he is the focal point of the SIG. Nice hue, clarity and contrast to the player. The broken pane technique was a cool twist, especially with the shards of pieces laying under the render. The lighting was terrific and evenly spread out as well. Style and lettering were great and they contrasted well against the BG and player, although maybe his first name would've popped more on the left side? Still looks awesome. Also like the drop shadow! Boomer makes a beauty!
  10. Couldnt open it to review Zab.
  11. This years 2nd round 14th pick over all for Seattle was @JG10 a young kid with raw talent hoping to made an immediate impact with the big club. He is already gargantuan in size topping 6'8" and weighing a hefty 250 pounds but with all that size Gucci brings some pretty good skills to go along with his generous frame. Garrop put up respectable numbers last season in the minors with 30g and 68pts in his first full season with Yukon. Before that he played in 13 regular season and 9 in the playoffs with Saskatoon and was held pointless in all those games. As for his skill set he can skate very well for a big guy and with decent checking ability and strong defensive play he is a capable player in the defensive zone. Garrop is equally adept at setting up plays as well as scoring which helps him at center position. The knock on Gucci and it is a big one is his lack of puck handling, face off ability and not using his size to his advantage. As a center man, Garrop needs to improve his ability in the face off circle, especially at crucial times in a game. At this point he isn't reliable enough to take the majority of them. The other areas he needs work on are his stick handling skills. If he could improve in this area and add more physicality to his game he would be less prone to give a ways during game play. He has a ton of time to improve as he is a fresh face to the VHL and Seattle Bears. GM Banakcock has high hopes for this young player and Garrop should be a star in the making for the Bears if he continues on his current path. Word Count: 293
