  2. Overview: 3/3 - KJA's road to the VHL looked to be one that many young hockey players of the world can relate to. Having an older sibling making a name for himself before you even had the chance to lace up skates almost seems unfair, but KJA made the best choice for himself. Glad to have you here in the league and your work ethic thus far is superb. Keep it up! Grammar: 2/2 - Just one! Good work. through out - throughout Presentation: 1/1 - Really enjoyed the little baseball card-esque pic for KJA. Perhaps a smaller font size next time but nonetheless everything looks neat. Pros: 2/2 - Yup. Cons: 2/2 - Yup. Overall: 10/10 Final: 10/10
  3. Content: 3/3 - I liked how half of it was about Gow and the other was about Riga's rebuild. Undoubtedly, with all the firepower, Riga is something the rest of the league has to look out for in the near future. Really showing off GM Szatkowski in good light. Grammar: 2/2 - Didn't find anything. Nice work! Appearance: 1/1 - Very unique and team colors oriented. Excellent job. Overall: 6/6 Final: 6/6
  4. Content: 3/3 - I can't say I understand your troubles of dwelling in the minors for too long, but with the work ethic you've been putting in lately, you're bound to be wanted by a team sooner or later. You deserve better than to be stuck in minor league purgatory. This was an honest reflection of your player and where he stands right now. Grammar: 2/2 - Spell check. Saksatoon - Saskatoon managemet - management developement - development Appearance: 1/1 - Color was used. Overall: 6/6 Final: 6/6
  5. Content: 3/3 - Solid read, and a busy week it was. The uprising of Slaughter will certainly have VHL teams on the ready to draft you come draft day. I saw Bratislava's draft picks and I knew they were all good, especially taking you. I'll be on the lookout for Slaughter whenever I'm in goal. Grammar: 2/2 - Spell check. ane - an quiet - quite competetive - competitive Appearance: 1/1 - Good. Overall: 6/6 Final: 6/6
  6. The mode needs an overhaul. For replay valum, it needs to be on the level of Madden's franchise mode. But I know that will never happen. Deal Alfie. Dunno why you'd get rid of Weiss.
  7. Sweet, playing back up to an inactive.
  8. Content: 3/3 - You put up a good argument in your player being a steal and a future stud. No such thing as a shortage of defensemen in the league so if you keep up the work, you'll be sure to find in any VHL team, let alone Helsinki. Grammar: 2/2 - Everything seems to be in order. Just this. spot light - spotlight Appearance: 1/1 - Overall: 6/6 Final: 6/6
  9. Where do I go to hand in my American citizenship?
  10. Greg Goldberg! Heard he joined again not too long ago but was unable to stay active.
  11. Ah, Chris Julien aka arcbee. He was my GM in Stockholm. He got a bad rep with some of the other members sometimes, but I always remember him for giving me my first real opportunity in the league and treating me like his star player even though I wasn't. Our team never achieved much success together but getting to the finals with him and staying loyal to Stockholm for my player's entire career was all because of him.

  13. Content: 5/5 - McQueen is looking to fit into a solid two-way forward in the VHL. Any team could use a grinder with a scoring edge in their lineup. 17. Blaine Lands in Bern BERN, Switzerland - There's that feeling in the pit of your stomach when you're a young professional hockey player. Daydreaming about the day you put on a professional team's jersey. For Blaine Olynick, that day became a reality when at the S36 VHLM Dispersal Draft, Bern Royals GM Tyler Barabash declared him as their 1st pick, 5th overall of the draft. The young goaltender, with a smile from ear to ear made his way to the podium to meet with the commissioner and the team's general manager to put on the sweater his will be sporting for next season. "At 5 the Bern Royals are happy to select their new starting goaltender,Blaine Olynick" It was almost fate, the way the two parties came together. The Bern Royals, a team with a nameless goaltender were gasping for air the entire season with a 32-37-3 record. Olynick, coming off a nasty injury from his last season in junior was on pins and needles hoping to be picked up anywhere. Add first year general manger Barabash with lots of ideas and aspirations into the mix, and you have something special in your hands. "Just from the short conversation I've had with Mr. Barabash, I can already tell he's very excited to have me be a part of the team. He gave me an overview of his plans for the Royals and I had nothing but positive sights for the future. He has a good grasp on what he wants to do, and that's to win", said Olynick with TSN after being picked. Bern, Switzerland So what's next for Olynick after only taking one step into his VHL career? "I'm gonna say goodbye to my family as they fly back to Toronto, and I'm going to start looking for apartments in Bern. After that, training camp will be the next step along with some personal training sessions with the goalie coach", said Blaine. He's keeping his focus to this upcoming season, trying to catch the eyes of the VHL GMs and scouts for next season's VHL draft. Early expert predictions have him going in the first round as the #1 ranked goaltender of the class. With highly regarded prospects such as Slaeter Fjorsstrom and Tom Slaughter vying for that #1 overall spot, Blaine says he will continue to work religiously to weave his way into the conversation as a #1 pick. Will his position come into play come draft day and there are teams already with young starting goaltenders? "No, that has never crossed my mind. That will only motivate me to work harder and fight for that spot. That's the whole point of playing sports, let alone hockey. To gradually become better. I'll do whatever it takes to be a #1 goaltender for a VHL team", replied Olynick. At the rate Blaine has been going since he first arrived at the scene, he's been turning heads and opening eyes. It's only a matter of time before we see the city of Bern, Switzerland covered in Blaine Olynick jerseys.
  18. I usually don't accept jobs from men. EDIT: Nah you've been really helpful as well. I appreciate that you keep me in line with the grading, because thinking I wouldn't get the job, I was scared shitless going into my first grade.
  19. I want to thank you for doing just that in helping me become comfortable with the league and such, and making my first sig of course. You're the man Kendrick.
  20. Looks like I'll have to fight my way up to the top 3. Heavy competitors ahead of me.
  21. At least I got the better save percentage of the three in 40 minutes
