  4. Having been interviewed by a few teams before the draft, King Czar had an idea of what team he would be going to in the VHLM S39 Dispersal Draft. Bratislava had been one of the teams that had interested Czar, due to him being familiar with the General Manager Seth Plaut. Czar III was drafted 11th overall by Bratislava, just outside of the first round, where King Czar was hoping he'd go. After he was drafted, Czar let the media know about his plans this season, with this quote. "I was drafted today to the Bratislava Watchmen, and was the highest pick going to the team. I want to win this season, and Bratislava will win this season because of the GM we have, and the mentality this team has going into the season. Bratislava had a great draft, and now, we're going to shock the VHLM world. We're going to kill it. I would love to thank my family, my fans, and of course my new GM Seth for letting this happen. I'm going to go in the first round in the VHL Entry Draft, mark my words."
  5. Ranking Centers for the Upcoming VHLM S40 Entry Draft At the time of this writing, this is for the "upcoming" VHLM S39 Dispersal Draft, and that may be long gone by the time this is published. We, here at TSN will be discussing the top 3 centers in this next draft class. 1. Thomas O'Malley O'Malley has arguably the best work ethic in his whole draft class, let alone his position group. Thomas is the most well rounded center in this draft class as he plays a 200 ft game and has the strength to do so. Standing at 6'2" and 200 lbs from Boston, Massachusetts, Thomas has the size to dominate whichever end of the ice he chooses to do so. O'Malley is the greatest center in this draft class and will arguably be the best when these young guns get drafted into the VHL, if he continues to produce andwork as hard as he is doing so right now. Thomas was seen working on his skating and shot most of the time, as those are his 2 strong suits. His pass may need some work for the VHL level, but it's accurate enough for the VHLM. O'Malley was seen with a strength and conditioning coach last week preparing for the draft, and working on his faceoffs indirectly. Thomas knows what he has to improve, and he improves it. Simple as that, Thomas is the best center in this draft class. 2. Tyler Cote When stating that Thomas was the best center in the draft class, it does not mean that the other centers are any slouches either. Tyler Cote just plays the powerforward role, making him harder to spot. Tyler can skate neck to neck with Thomas and can easily knock him off the puck. That is Tyler's strongest suit, his checking ability to take down players even bigger than him. He stands at 74 inches and 208 lbs, but can still skate like the wind, so that tells us about his work ethic, this guy never tires out. Cote is working on his 200 ft game, but that does not mean it is the best 200 ft game in the world just yet, it may need some adjustments, but it's definitely getting there. Cote has a weak shot, so Thomas has him beat in that regard, but his crisp, accurate pass makes up for the loss on the shooting side. Tyler can string that pass throught the tightest loop in the world. Tyler and Thomas are the top 2 centers, and after that, it falls off a tad. 3. Jody 3 Moons Jody can always be seen pulling a prank on the hardworking O'Malley and Cote, but other than being a pest, Jody's game really shy's off what Tyler and Thomas brought to the table. It really is a fall of and that, in no way, is a shot at Jody, it's just how good Tyler and Thomas are. Jody's game is average, but good enough to be picked and put up a few points in the VHLM, his work ethic will determine what he will do at the VHL draft. HM: Some guy listed as a center, but is a goalie.. *NOTE* When this was written, there were only 3 centers there, so if you were left out, I'm sorry.

  8. I like to write, and am willing to write long articles, and also get better as I have room for improvement, I would like this job. I know my activity is questionable on this site, but this is the highest it's ever been, and the highest it's ever going to get, so do keep that in mind. Some of my articles on the SHL http://theshl.b1.jcink.com/index.php?showtopic=36731&st=0 http://theshl.b1.jcink.com/index.php?showtopic=36823&st=0 Some of my stuff on the VHL http://www.vhlforum.com/index.php?/topic/9704-king-czar-iii-emerges/ http://www.vhlforum.com/index.php?/topic/9898-vhlm-s39-dispersal-draft-rankings-top-3-defensemen/
  9. "Scrub. VHLM 4th liner. Champion." Those are all words that can describe recently retired "3rd round steal" Luke Riggs who has never played a single game in the VHL. His career was spent 100% of the time in the minors. In his first season, Luke Riggs even got to play a few shifts in the VHLM due to being on a bad team like the Oslo Storm, but the next 2 seasons, he was on a very good Yukon Rush team where he was lucky to even step out on the ice during the warm up skate. That Yukon Rush team won 2 championships in a row, where Riggs had retired. Of course, his jersey will never be hung up to the rafters, or his name ever engraved on the cup under the 'Y' of Yukon, but to future scrubs, Luke Riggs will be an absolute legendary scrub, who retired on a high note, capturing the scrub dream, the VHLM Championship. Long live Luke Riggs Idk what this means but Yukon 2 Gud
  10. Ranking Defenseman for the Upcoming VHLM S39 Dispersal Draft Not many draftees in this class, it is very top end heavy, and here are your top 3 defenseman for the upcoming draft. Let's start with #1 Ranked; Mason Richardson. 1. Mason Richardson Wow, is this guy on steroids or what? An absolute monster of a defenseman with his work ethic. Tall enough to make an impact standing at 6'4" and weighing in at 216 lbs. An excellent skater, and puck handler, he can create offense from almost anywhere on the ice. An absolutely superb pass which he can use from just about anywhere. He seems to be working on his shot more and more often now, learning that it may be his one weakness. He is defensively responsible, but can use a few hours at the gym to gain some more strength, in turn, increasing his shot. The best defenseman in the upcoming draft. He may just be the best prospect overall in this great draft class. 2. Gunzerker Salvador Very easy name to remember, his parents were very unique, you could say. Gunzerker is a threatening name, but at 5'5" and 170 lbs, the only threatening thing about him could be his name, and also his country, Mexico. For a small body, Salvador can just straight up rip it into the net with his slapper. Defensively responsible, Gunzerker looks like he can play almost any spot on the ice, as he was seen working on his faceoffs. He is a decent skater, not the best, but he doesn't have the longest legs so that is understandable. He either does not pass the puck, or he cannot pass the puck, whichever one it is, it won't matter, he can receive the pass, but can't stick handle with it, and looks to just shoot it. An interesting build, Gunzerker should be a great prospect with great skill. 3. Jerrick Poole What do they feed him, this kid's huge. Standing at 6'6" and 243 lbs, Jerrick almost might be the biggest body in the VHLM Dispersal Draft. Hailing from Boston, hence why he wears number 77, Poole is a defensive show. The best part of his game is the defensive part. With an increasing willingness to hit, and that big body, he can go right through the opponent. Of course, Poole is another type of beast, with the ability to just blow by defenders when on the rush, he can go around the opponent as well. His pass and shot aaren't the greatest, but he was found with trainers working on his pass, and it looks to be better and better as the days go on. He ranks in at number 3 on our defenders list for that very reason, the willingness to improve his weaknesses. HM: Joshua Rubin, King Czar III, Vladamir Komarov
  11. Okay, thanks for the quick reply. I apply, thanks haha. I am pretty organized, and am always on, looking to do stuff for TPE etc. I feel like I'm the best choice for this job because I will always be active, and this gives me new things to do after I've done my 9 tpe /week so that'll help me remain active as I have objectives to complete.
  12. Is that one up to date? Just wondering how much a hassle this would be, and how long it would take me. If it is, I apply, if not, about how much stuff is off?
  13. Just one question: Would I be able to edit the existing spreadsheet or have to create a new one altogether?
  14. Please, can I have one? Pretty please?

  16. King Czar III Zdeno Chara Include whatever you may want too. Thanks in advance.
  17. "I, King Czar Nicholas III, am now officially declaring to be eligible for the highly touted draft class in the VHLM. I will be eligible to be drafted in the S40 Draft Class and will hopefully go very high. I would like to thank my family, my fans, and my coaches for allowing me to get this far. I'm about to go pro, and I will not forget any of the people that helped me reach this stage. I will make Russia proud, and the other great legends this country has, ashamed. My goal is to be the best Russian born player in the VHL, and I feel I am ready for that, and will make the big step early in my career. I invite you all to my draft party." Those are the words of King Czar III who has recently declared for the VHL, and has quite the personality, let's see how the career of a big defenseman in the VHL turns out.
  18. Hello, I'm James Duthie alongside Czar III coming of from his -- "You forgot the "King" Right, sorry, "King" Czar III who is simply one of the best prospects in the VHLM dra -- "The best prospect, period." Maybe you're up for it, but there are many other prospects worthy of that status, are you making this claim? "Yes, I am, are you not believing me? James? Er.. Well you are one of the best, but -- "I already told you, I'm the best. Now let's get onto the questions." Okay, let's drop it. How do you see your VHLM career playing out? "I'm looking to dominating everyone and everything out on the ice, I'm going to be the greatest player in the game, and I can talk all I want, I know, at the end of the day, I need to put my money where my mouth is, and show people that I'm not all talk." Interesting answer, what team in the VHLM would you like to go to? "I can sit here and lie to you that I'm interested in any team, and would be happy to go anywhere, but that's not me. I don't lie, I tell the truth, and the truth is I'm only open to two teams." What would those two teams happen to be? "One would be the back to back champions Yukon Rush and the othe --" They technically haven't won back to back championships yet. "Please do not interrupt me, as I was saying, the eventual back to back champions Yukon Rush or the Bratislava Watchmen." Why is that? "Because, I am familiar with both General Managers and would like to have more success in the future, and these GM's will likely help me get there." Is there any other team that may be on your radar this coming season and draft? "The Oslo Storm, I like the team, I like the city, and if the management is still the same as I imagine it to be, I have absolutely no issues about going there." You have said previously, you are going to be the greatest Russian player of all ti -- "Not going to be, I already am." Not to be disrespectful, but how do you follow up this claim? "No Russian hockey player in history has my size, not to mention, none of them have my skill. I do whatever it takes for me to get my team to win. Outside of my team, I will always be the villain, but inside my city, I am the hero." Those are poetic words, are you fine with being known as a villain around the league? "Absolutely, if it means my team wins, the other team loses and we're atop the standings, I'd be fine with being "known" as anything." That is a big claim, for someone if you are hated around the league, calls may not go your way. "That will happen no matter what game you play, whether it be football or soccer, or hockey or basketball. Sometimes the puck just will not bounce your way, but you have to fight through that, and those who can, will prosper, and will most likely change the outcome of the game. If referees are going to be biased, I may just accidentally trip them, or send another player their way with a shove in their back. And yes, James, that is an outright threat for whoever dares to stop me, or even innocently crosses my path." Wow, it's not wise to threaten staff in a league you may not even make. "I'll make it, and I'll destroy it. My team will be lucky to have me and that's all it will be. Threat or not, I'm going out there to prove what I am and back up my words. I'm going to go out there and dominate." Well that's all we have time for today, thanks for the rather interesting interview. "No problem, I may or may not remember you when I'm a star." Thank you, I suppose. "You are welcomed, thank you very much for having me." OT: Just saying this here, this is not at all my personality, just my players. If you want to discuss something or ask me about the draft, the chat's always available. Hoping for a 6 here, at 496 words without the questions and actually tried pretty hard on this one.
  19. King Czar III King Czar hails from his motherland Russia and towers at a huge 6'8 length and the weight of 250 pounds. He is pound for pound, one of the toughest in the WHL, and will look to carry it on to the VHLM and then eventually the VHL. He posted really good numbers for a defenseman his age and size in the WHL, playing for the Prince Albert Raiders. He posted 9 goals and 14 assists in just 40 games as he was suspended for the season for a violent hit. The aftermath is shown below. After the hit, Czar stepped up to fight as well, earning him an even longer suspension from the league, the fight lasted about a mere two seconds before Czar's opponent was begging for mercy. That is just a preview of what's to come. As a player however, let's get into what Czar's all about. First, let's make it clear that Czar is not a scientific experiment, and his height is really 6'9. His weight is also 250 pounds. No one in their right mind wants to mess with him, or his teammates. He has incredible strength, and can win almost any puck in a battle in a corner. He has incredible intensity, leadership, defensive positioning, and offensive ability. Czar, a late bloomer, and an overager at the draft, due to suspensions is finally eligible to be drafted this coming season, and you can bet that he's going to go for the top spot (lol not happening). Czar is no speed demon on skates. In fact, he would probably be able to win an award for the slowest skating human being alive. Another weakness? Well, it's not a total con, but still, he might want to work on his discipline a bit before advancing to the next level. Defending your teammates is one thing (something he does very well, in fact), but going out looking to start trouble isn't always the best thing, however for him, it is the funnest thing. Watching kids barely above 6'0 try to approach him to fight is beyond hilarious. "King" Czar is never out of position, uses his skating techniques to stay between the net and the puck. His speed could use some help, however, but his hard hitting, and his solidness on the penalty kill makes up for it. His leadership qualities are unmatched in any of his competitors. Very little experience, compared to his fellow S40 draftees. However, he plays as though he's played his whole life, other than some (at times) annoying simple mental mistakes. Loves to fight, about 95% of his penalties are fighting majors. "King" Czar is the making of something big, and if he can put it all together, he will be a force to be reckoned with. Czar has the makings to be a true star. However, he has yet to play against competition better than the WHL level. So who knows, he may turn out to be a dud. However, if he continues to improve further on his current play, he may become the perfect hybrid of scoring, defense, and all out strength. Never Forget King Czar is the Best
