This one might turn some heads, but it is long overdue. Boubabi has been one of the best graphic makers in all sim leagues. Across the board his knowledge of Photoshop (and Illustrator if you see his other designs) is very high. If you've ever had the chance to view one of his live sigs you'll see the steps (although at times it can get confusing) on how to create certain aspects of a sig. If you've also had the chance to see some of the work he does on the aesthetic aspect of the board, you'll have noticed a lot of effort and need for site improvement. He isn't soft spoken and does speak his mind at times which can get him in to trouble, I feel he has said some things when he was younger he may not be happy with (like all of us have). Unfortunately like Chris, he is a Habs fan so it's hard to support that side of him being that the franchise isn't the best run. Here's to many more great sigs and live sig tutorials where we can learn some graphic techniques. Raise a glass of your coldest Broken 7 beer to @boubabi!

Many moons ago a young Habs fan entered our league and we were graced with someone with extreme dedication and commitment to bettering our league. Chris has been a rock here in the VHL and has provided many members with a ton of knowledge. His expansive knowledge of the STHS, his ability to speak level headed and manage teams has always been top tier. To this day I'm pretty sure he holds the record for most games at the helm (managed) in VHL history. I have been on a couple teams with Chris as my General Manager and he has been on my teams as well. When our Helsinki Titans won back in the 20's, he was an all-star defensemen who helped us lift the cup. I've always enjoyed our talks and he has a very cool lifestyle in my opinion. It's too bad his Hats didn't knock off the Flyers (was pulling for them to beat Bobby "The Racist" Clarke's) favourite team. Let's all raise a glass of your finest malt whiskey to a guy who continues to shape careers and help our community! @Advantage thank you

1st Star! Wow I didn't know I had that many points this week

Boom has been providing the board with glorious good looking women for years. However, that's not all he has done here. Boom has been a steady graphics contributor and has a style that I feel sets him apart in his own unique way. I've seen his work here and in other sim leagues and it always amazes me the techniques he uses. Boom also has created some very solid players in the league that have gone on to win titles, awards and contribute on the score sheets day in and day out. He has been committed and allowed many members to have a laugh from his jokes. If you want to learn about the Land Down Under, Boom can educate you a little on it. As one of the only Australian's to grace our sim league, he is one in a million around these parts. I'm hoping Boom sticks around because his jokes, graphics and semi-nudes he posts (not of himself) are a bright spot in some dark VHL days. So everyone raise a glass of Carlton Draught to Boom! @BOOM™

Dammit that's the fourth time this month

What can I say about the ol man himself that hasn't already been said. Sterling and I have gone way back because we've been in the league forever. One of the OG's of the VHL and one of the single most decorated members of our board. You may not always like what he had to say, but you respected it because he saw things and still does see things plain and simple. A man of few words at time and those words are usually "You're banned". However, Sterling's history with many roles and many Hall of Fame players is why he is brought up when discussions of best member ever come up. I've had the pleasure of playing on his team multiple times and although he didn't talk much in the Lockeroom, he was a veteran presence who never lacked information about the sim engine. I think this man is owed a slow golf clap (mostly because he is old), so for this I think we raise a glass to @sterling for his board presence and efforts to keep this league afloat in some down times!

Who made the two sigs you're sporting?

I don't belong on lists, I'm more of a excel spreadsheet coelom formula guy. I'm not sure I'm a "Has started" guy (not entirely sure what it means to be honest). I just dabble around and find new techniques when I watch tuts every couple weeks

Thanks Ryan, appreciate the support. Life gives us so many things you can view as curveballs or view as simply a pitch. You can swing if you want, I have swung and struck out many times. Past sim league happenings don't haunt me because I'm true to myself, but also recognizing I've wronged some people in the past.
