What on earth do you mean Kendrick? Well our simulation league is like no other. We have the ability to customize things as a user that many leagues do not. I had this whole league on dark mode because it's supposed to be better for your eyes (not sure if it is or not). Only now did I figure out I can change the accent colour on the board. To a smaller extent you can change the shape of the elements which is actually pretty cool if you are a sharp/rounded type of person. I myself choose the sharp "boxy" look with a red accent and a dark mode. I feel like this is an area with features unlike any other league. I did not think these things were possible when we first created this league. It was created as a very cookie cutter esq. forum with little to know "mood". So I say, raise your finest Ale to the fact we can all enjoy a nice aesthetic in whatever way we want!

Okay so this one isn't about anyone specific, but more to do with the topic of mental health. We all follow hockey which has been one of the sports that talks a lot about mental health. Unfortunately we all saw a bit of the fall out that Bell Let's Talk had this year. Bell did their Let's Talk campaign this year to raise funds for mental health, then took money from the government and laid people off. I was always skeptical of Bell anyways because large Telecom companies are very greedy. That being said, this post is more about our community here. This past year has been tough on many, it has challenged us in ways we didn't know how to deal with at times; or in ways that limited us in some capacity. I genuinely do applaud every individual on here for whatever level they had to endure hardship in and come out no worse for wear. It's still going and there is some light at the end of the tunnel but it has tested us all. I won't sit here and say my mental health hasn't been effected, because it drastically has. There have been voices in my head saying it's not worth continuing because the world coming out of this isn't all that positive anyways. I don't know what I'm holding onto at this point, but whatever it is I hope it doesn't fracture. To applaud everyone here.

1. I feel as a young team we did pretty well this year and we have a lot to learn for next season as well. 2. Yes I will mock them by only wearing a cowboy hat in warmup 3. Okay let's start out with the fact I almost wrote "travhav" in the title instead of what I did write. Pretty sure I haven't wrote a Fan article on this gem but here goes. DAAD has been a great member here for a long time. I found this guy on the Canucks forum boards because I had gone to all of the boards to see if they would allow for recruitment posting under their "Other" or "Fantasy League" topics. Sure enough the rules are very loose on the Vancouver Hockey Boards (CDC) much like they defensive units this year. Anyways, Daad was a blessing to this league and I'm glad I found him. He has been a steady General Manager in the league, held many job titles and always takes a very neutral approach to potential conflict. If you get into a spat with this guy, something is wrong with you because he is the less argumentative guy and he is so easy to talk to at a calm level head. I feel like his hockey knowledge is very high too, despite not being able to see some of the best teams in recent years; I'm glad he has a Canucks team to cheer for that has some very good potential forwards. Travis is a gem and we should protect our gems in this league at all costs. Everyone raise their glasses and have a drink of Russell or Hoyne Beer in honour of @DollarAndADream

1. I have invested in some relaxing/calm apps on my phone that cost a lot but worth it for staying focused. 2. Some depth scoring and ability to holds leads. 3. Being away from family is hard, that effects my play definitely 4. The hilarious dad jokes and puns on poster boards 5. Motor oil. Because I'm a closet murder mystery fanatic 6. Probably my legs so they never tire. I feel that's best for a defensemen logging tons of minutes.
