  2. Happy Birthday! I already claimed welfare? Is there a way for me to reverse that or do it next week? @Beketov
  3. Here is my honest take: I'm not insulted it was used, I totally get the Steel portion and I understand Steel may relate to the revolution in industry progression years ago. I just think there are more things that could represent Germany better like the following Oktoberfest (Think a festival style logo) Autobahn Castles Beer (Think Milwaukee Brewers)
  4. Why a tank? Please don't say WWII because its not something us German love to flaunt Why not something with Munich? Berlin is kind of the ugly kid brother haha
  5. 34. I'd throw paint at the wall and see if it stuck really. See who blends well, I don't know who works with who until it's tried. 35. It's a free admission to the Space Needle for life! 36. I feel we finish with 45 wins! 37. I think he will finish with 41 wins this year 38. I say he finishes with the 16th most all-time! 40. I feel it will end up the way it is right now
  6. In society now you see a lot of people speaking up to racial inequality, racial divide, systemic racism and hate against the LGBTQia2s+ community. You also see a lot of opposition to these individuals who are speaking out. Mainly the "Well I wasn't a slave owner so don't get mad at me" crowd. When these people speak out saying that things shouldn't change and that the statue represents history, there's one thing that comes to mind: Shut the Fuck Up. If you honestly believe that racism isn't an issue just because you haven't seen it or experienced it, then you're both ignorant and a fucking dumbass. Quebec has a damn law that prohibits Muslims from "looking Muslims" with their cultural and religious attire. Kamloops was just the start of the search for Indigenous truth and there are more to come. Hell even today Manitoba found some more bodies. This will continue to change this country and we can start be speaking up about the terrible history this country has been apart of. Being "woke" shouldn't be an insult, it's a damn right to be aware and trying to make a change.
  7. 26. I will be heading to the interior to visit my favourite town with the family 27. I think we have been improving and taking the league by storm 29. Halifax because the city itself is more impressive 30. About what I expected as a rookie coming into a league full of veterans 32. I think a cattle branding might work better, make him part of the team more with the logo branded on his forehead 33. They should call it Furcoin
  8. 16. Family day! We went to the bird sanctuary and had a walk in nature and I cut the grass 18. Great solid veteran pickup. Someone that I can learn from big time 21. Getting out and doing more things while things open up and staying safe 22. I'm just looking to up my stats, I don't care about my in game production. 23. I'm a rookie so can't say I will be doing this, but several people have bought many shaving cream cans 25. Probably New York because they are rivals and I hate them (not really)
  9. Once again Kendrick is here to give a shoutout but unfortunately it is not for any one person, feel like we've been here before. However, I think it's important to point out my thoughts on the VHLE and what that brings to this forum. Take this with a grain of salt if you want (I know @frescoelmotakes everything I say with a grain of salt anyways) but I totally support this VHLE expansion. I trust that the cities that get chosen are ones that make sense. Not that I think everything should be realistic considering the VHL is a league comprised of teams that don't really physically exist (try telling Anderson that though). However, in my opinion cities like Paris do make sense now as French hockey has taken a real leap in terms of talent in the past 10 years. Teams in Germany, Czech Republic, Poland, Belarus, Ukraine and Austria all make sense. Hell why doesn't Iceland have a team yet? Let's be realistic but have some fun with the exposure aspect. Russia? Yes, hell yes to that. I mean we can work on making sure the travel conditions are better in Russia, but I fully support that country having a VHLE team. Let's not go down the road of putting a team in remote places though, they won't work. No to Vasteras because that will always have a stink to it. You want Sweden? Sure go somewhere not associated with Lucas Tannehill and his weird obsession.
  10. It's actually because I had a very vast collections of colognes.
  11. As the person who was gifted Cologne as a franchise, I don't want them back. Not for any other reason than the fact the stink hasn't worn off of Scott Anderson's debacle. Munich Monsters would be better!
  12. Y'all are arguing but haven't brought up the fact that Lewis Dawson never did win a cup.
  13. Got damn it's nice to be out of the house more. Spring is a sexy beast and Mother Nature wears her best when the flowers bloom and the sun comes out in full force. I could do without my neighbour Ron thinking the community is a nudist colony every Tuesday, but hey I guess we all need that sweet sunshine on our skin. Anyone else a spring baby and thrive the most when the weather is nice but not deathly attacking your potential skin cells with cancer scares? I've always got the most work down this time of year and it's a boost to both my wallet but also the family to be able to go outside and experience when Spring has cleaned up from Winter. Don't get me wrong, Winter is nice too but given we just went through our first full out COVID Winter, we are so over it now. So I would like to raise a glass of your finest Porter and give a nod to Mother Nature for her generous offering of sun, pollen destroying my nasal passages and fresh new fruit in season. Spring...FUCK YEAH!
  14. Nixon Caldwell has spent the last two seasons grooming down in the VHLM, but before that he was graced with the opportunity to be coached in the WHL with the Portland Winterhawks. Caldwell spent his first two seasons on the Winterhawks with only playing 15 games due to being undersized and of course a 16 and 17 year old. Being around the team and coaching staff allowed him to grow as both an individual and as a player. It's that maturity and growth that allowed him to be come a regular with Portland in his third official season with the franchise. His growth also was seen in his figure as the once 5'9" defensemen had grown quite a bit physically and was now 6'1" and ready to fill out his tall frame. His third season started off with a bang as a former teammate of his in Bantam took a run on his captain, in the first game no less. Caldwell stepped up and dropped the mitts and smashed the opposing players face up pretty bad. Nixon was ready to assert himself and that he did in that first season of regular minutes. Nixon averaged 19:13 minutes of ice time a night and saw action in 52 games with the Winterhawks. It was there where they found out his booming snapshot was a key ingredient in their winning formula. Nixon notched 12 goals for the Winterhawks with playing on the third pairing and also saw minutes on the second power play unit. In his fourth season with the Winterhawks while turning the age 19, he saw increased minutes and some NHL Draft buzz. NHL Scouts started to fill the press boxes looking for some gems in the WHL and Caldwell caught the eye of several clubs. His strong play that year which consisted of 14 goals and 44 assists allowed him to get some WHL player of the week awards as well. It was in this season that Caldwell also increased his penalty minutes as he was a leader and leaders step in when teammates are in trouble. Ultimately Caldwell didn't get a lot of fighting majors but did end up getting roughing minors for stepping into altercations. At that seasons conclusion Caldwell was not drafted in the NHL but the VHLM did come calling he ended up getting selected in the VHLM Draft. It was in the VHLM that he finally felt wanted and accepted and the selection allowed him to have more pride on what he does.
  15. 1. Raw onions. Like not exclusively but 90% of his diet right now is raw onions 2. They twindle their thumbs and race dogs at the track of course 3. Pretty sure I heard they will have Hedley play 4. I'd probably get punched because it would be an honour 5. The fans because COVID has taken so much from everyone but they never got their fix 6. Our front office because they went out and got our Allstar roster
