Well the teams in South America/Central/North America are on level playing field as a collective while as Europe. What I mean by that is no longer do the USA face two superpowers from South America and then have no challenges. Now there are a good 8-10 teams from these regions that can play on the same field as European teams like Germany, Spain, France, England, etc... I do question the Klinsmann firing though now. He never can take a team to the ultimate place but I also don't think he was ruining that program.

@boom get @Jala to help you, because I had no clue either but he explained it really well. To anyone thinking about joining, I've been in sim leagues for about 12 years now and this is the 2nd best sim league I've been in. The reason it's second best is because the VHL has been longer and thats the main reason/only reason. SBA is a solid group of people and ran very well by @Molholt. I don't often endorse other leagues because my wedding finger is taken by the VHL ring. They run it on time, ascetically pleasing and the interaction is great. Jot me down as recruiter if you want, but if not you'd be making a great choice going there regardless. Also, I'm German and really only had Nowitzki to love and then moved to New Jersey where the Nets sucked more dick than Monica Lewinsky. So this league hooked me somehow.

Colombia is one of the stronger teams in that tournament so it's not that surprising at all.

Yeah the fact that Logan Couture is complaining about it is funny, because Crosby is taking a draw and will do anything he can to win it. If the ref doesn't see anything wrong with it then he will continue to do it. Only way to beat someone who does that, do it as well. Not to mention, Logan Couture 3 seasons ago in the playoffs would intentionally trip guys once they had hit him.

Sadly Germany may not be one of the best 4 teams. I say that as a realist, they have not played German football in a year. Also Group D is a hard one to pick for 2nd/3rd. Turkey and Czech Republic aren't teams to ever count out, sadly they may lose out on points though.

They are better sure, but at some point it's gut check time and those guys will retire having won jack squat. If the program wants to succeed they need to include players who work well together. Sneijder is the definition of "egotistical" in that program.
