  1. 1. Which team have you most enjoyed facing so far this season? I'd say London as it feels great when we beat them as they are my hometown team if we can say that for all UK players. 3. Who is the leading candidate to get Warsaw's nomination for Most Improved Player in this early stretch of the season? Chris Reynolds has been amazing and looks to be setting career highs. 4. Got any words of advice for WAR-G so he stops being such a scrub and holding us back when we have to play him? He just needs to focus and not give up the garbage goal, those are the worst we it's deflating. 5. Chicago is giving us the most legit challenge we've had for the league goals and goal differential lead in the past couple seasons. What adjustments can we make to come out on top again? We just need to keep scoring as that's what we do best. Instead of shutting the offense when up on teams we just need to keep piling on their missory. 6. Despite being by far the worst team in the standings, Vancouver has given us a run for our money every time we've played them. What can we do to avoid playing down to our competition in those games? We gotta keep our focus and have the mindset that they are a top team in the league. We need to stop looking past them which it seems like we do. 8. Why is Aloe Dear getting hit so much more than every other player in the league? We have the puck more than the other team so there's a higher probability of getting hit and then add that he's our best player so they will focus on hitting him.
  2. Uhtred is in the final year of his VHL career where he is in pursuit of his third continental cup and looking to hit some career milestones. We will periodically provide an update on uhtreds progress toward hitting 250 career goals and 600 points. We have reached a third of the VHL season which makes it a great time to check on uhtreds pace. With 25 games player this season uhtred has scored 10 goals and 13 assists. These totals put him 14 goals and 45 points away from hitting his targets. Now that we have his current production and the numbers he needs to reach his milestone we can see how likely it is. With 10 goals in 25 games, uhtred is on pace to score 28.8 goals, so another 18 or 19 rounded up on the season. This leaves uhtred with a 4 goal wiggle room so at this point of the season there's a great chance of reaching that target. His 23 points so far this season puts uhtred on pace to score 66 points, so another 43 points. This current pace outs uhtred slightly under target as he's projected to fall 2 points short of 600. With the majority of the season left to play there is still time for uhtred to pick up the pace to hit both targets but at this time he's likely to hit the goals milestone and fall just short in points.
  3. 1. We've recovered from losing our first two games to sit at 9-2-0, topping the league and once again holding the league's best goal differential. Was there any doubt in your mind we'd recover after the rough first sim? Nope we have a great team here and I knew we would get back to our winning ways at some point. 2. Chris Reynolds has been on a tear in recent games, leading the team in goals and the league in GWGs while Aloe Dear and Dakota Lamb sit top 3 in the league in assists, and top 10 in the league in points. Whose performance have you been most impressed with on the team thus far? Chris Reynolds is the most impressive as it is more unexpected for a d to lead in goals and gwg. 3. Which line would you say has been the driving force for the team thus far? I would say we have a balanced attack and all lines have being contributing. 4. What are your thoughts on the recently-announced VHLE? My next player will be in the first draft class taking part so will be interesting. Another league to play in while developing is great. 5. What is your favorite animal? A hard one as there are alot of great options. I will go with Lions with elephants A close second. Watching elephants drink from our pool in Africa was amazing. 6. Which real-life sport do you think has the most interesting offseason? The NFL as other leagues like the NBA have a great free agency but the NFL draft puts it over the top.

  5. Uhtred is getting grumpy in his old age in the VHL or being a predator has made him more aggressive. Whatever the reason uhtreds penalty minutes have gone up significantly in his final three season. This season the trends continues as uhtred was ejected for possibly the first timein his career. At 3:54 in the third period against Prague uhtred was ejected for instigating a fight against Jim Bob a former teammate with the Bears. Uhtred has 21 penalty minutes on the season which is already a higher total than he had in 4 of his 5 first seasons in Seattle. Uhtred is well in pace to shatter his career high penalty minutes he set last season. It's a stark differnce from his final 3 seasons in Seattle where he only recorded a combined 11 penalty minutes those 3 years. He didn't start getting into fights until his final season in Seattle (seasons 75) and he has since had at least one per season. There no way to say for sure if its age that has caused uhtred to become a fighter but since he had a fight with the Bears in his last season it's the most likely explanation. Sure the predators have brought out more of the beast inside him but he's turned into the old man that yells at the clouds.

  8. 1. Dakota Lamb and Lexi Glass are back! How does it feel to have two longtime Predators back on the squad for another cup run? It's great to have such amazing players and great teammates back for another cup run and my final one. 2. In order to make things work financially, we were unfortunately forced to trade away Latrell Mitchell and allow Jacob Carson to walk. How do you feel about these big losses to our team? It sucks to lose such great players but that business in a cap world. 3. Which team had the most impressive offseason this year? Seattle had a great offseason after winning the cup. 7. If you had Animorphs-style powers and could morph into any one animal whenever you choose, which animal would it be? I'll go with the king of the jungle, a lion. Who knows why they are king of the jungle when they don't live in one. Was asking to see them in the wild while on my honeymoon. 8. How cohesive and legible is your written signature? It's absolutely terrible and it's not exactly the same everytime but it's close enough 9. Are you a light mode person or a dark mode person? Whatever is the default setting as I can't be bothered to change it

  12. Uhtred is about to begin his final season in the VHL where he will be chasing third cup. Uhtred has got fairly close to winning the past two seasons losing in the conference final in game 7 OT and the cup final the year before. Uhtred will be hoping the tird time is the charm as he enters his third season in Warsaw. In addition to his elusive third cup, he will be looking to hit some personal milestone. The career targets he would like to hit this season are 250 goals and 600 career points. In order to achieve this he will need at least 24 goals and 68 points which is very attainable. Uhtred has only failed to reach those numbers in the first two seasons of his career so the probability of getting there is high. "The most important thing is to win the Cup but it would be great to hit those personal goals this season. If I can produce like that then we definitely will also have a great shot at a cup. I am an offensive player so I need to score to help is win games. Uhtred will officially sign his retirement papers at the trade deadline to end his VHL career.
  13. 1. We missed out on the finals. What can we do to make sure we can avoid this disappointment next season? That uhtred doesn't take stupid penalties in big games. He had too many hooking penalties in game 7. 2. What would you say is the most defining trait of our team this past season? Our scoring was the biggest thing for our success last season and hopefully it can continue this year. 3. As the salary cap gets more and more difficult to navigate for us as a steady contender, how much longer is our window in your opinion? A couple season I hope although I will be gone after this season with Uhtred retirement i hope my next players team is the contender lol. 4. What is the most useless organ in your body? Your gallbladder I'm guessing. No idea where it is but just know my mom had it removed as a kid. 6. In the same vein, which team surprised you the most in S77, whether for overperforming or underperforming in this past season? I'd say Seattle as I didn't think they would win the Cup this year. 10. If you could only listen to one artist's music for the rest of your life, who would it be? I'll go with Thomas Rhett as I'm a big fan of him. It's also the last concert I've been to and we went in Nashville,. Perfect place for a county concert
  14. I'm in and can manage a group
  15. Uhtreds secod last season ended horribly as he took a hooking penalty in game 7 OT that lead to a game winning goal for Helsinki, needles to say it's the low point of his career. "I feel so bad that I costed us a chance at a cup. You always feel terrible when a team scores a powerplay goal while in the box and multiply that feeling by a million and you get how I felt. I am just glad it's not the final game of my career and I can make it up by scoring the championship goal next season. Uhtred will now look to get that elusive third cup in his swan song season. "It would be great to retire as a champion and I will do everything I can to make that possible next season." Had the predators came out on top in game 7, uhtred would have faced off against the Bears , the team who he won 2 cups with. I think we would have given the Bears a great series and of course I will say we would've come out on top but we will never know. I am happy for my former teammates but this season has left me a bitter old man and that will continue until we hit the ice next season.
  16. 1. We were able to pull things together and finish the season with the Victory Cup. What can we do to make sure we carry this positive momentum into the playoffs? Just keep playing to our strengths which is scoring goals. We take a ton of shots and we just need to keep at it, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take. 4. Is ketchup a smoothie? I don't like smoothies but love ketchup so I'll say no. 5. With 291 goals this season, we topped our franchise record from last season by 1 and also solidified this era of Warsaw hockey by now having the 2 best team scoring years in the past 15 seasons. How have you enjoyed playing in our fast paced offense? It's been great to play here. I set a career high for game winning goals this season which I am happy about. Our style has helped me within reach of 250 career goals next season. 6. Which of the 4 wildcard teams (LA, Vancouver, Prague, and Malmo) do you think is most likely to threaten for the cup and why? I haven't really looked around the league but I'll go with a North American team as we are the threat to win the Cup from Europe. 7. How has past playoff experience helped get you ready for the fight ahead? Just made me hungry for more. I have alot of playoff experience from my time at Seattle but last season just motivated me to win one here before I retire. 8. Do you prefer to listen to music with headphones or through speakers? Speakers. Mostly listen to music through Google home while cooking or cleaning .
  17. 1. We’ve been on a bit of a slide lately, what’s it gonna take to get going again? We have stopped that slide now but we just need to keep playing to our strengths which is a deadly offense. 2. Ever since the trade deadline it’s been hard to find chemistry, if you had the chance would you go back and not make that deal? Nope, we are just taking time to develop that chemistry and will we be great by playoffs. 3. Do you still like our chances in the playoffs? Yes, we have a great team and are definitely one of the favourites. 4. Are you superstitious? Is there anything you have to do before a game to put your mind at ease? I'm not really superstitious but listening to music before the game puts the mind at ease. 5. What’s your favourite dip for nachos? Medium level salsa. Tried one with habanero and that was too much 7. If you had to choose one temperature for it to be for the rest of your life, what would it be? I'd say probably about 25 celsius and sunny but no humidity. The humidity is horrible, will take 40s in Vegas over 30s and humid in Ontario in the summer.
  18. Uhtred-protect scoring
  19. Uhtred reached the 500 point milestone with the game winner against Chicago. Uhtred scored the eventual game winning goal on the powerplay which was assisted by Mitchell and grachev. "Getting my 500th point of my career was special but for it to be the game winning goal against the champs who beat us in the finals make it extra special. The only way this would have been better was if it was the OT game winner instead of being a first period game winner.". Now with 500 points uhtred now will try to reach 250 goals in his career. Uhtred currently has 213 goals which leaves 37 goals short of reaching the milestone with just under a season and a half remaining in his career. "I really want to hit 250 goals, I am still playing the game at a high level and will play until i hit the 8 year limit. I will work hard to try and make my final 2 season's end with a cup.
  20. 1. First in the league (as of writing), what’s got us to this point so far? Our offense is our strength. We have scored a tom of goals and don't give up that many either. 2. Currently we have 3 players in top 10 scoring (Lamb, Dear, Glass) and Uhtred just outside. How many do you think finish the season there? I will say 3 as uhtred always flirts with the top 10 early and then drops off. Hopefully that will change this year but 3 is likely. 3. There was a couple trades this past week, what are your thoughts on them? I haven't followed the trades, just focused on Warsaw and what we do. 4. Do you think the trade market remains active or does it die off as usual at deadline? I think it will die off as usual. 6. Which other sim leagues are you apart of and rank them to most important to least. I tried efl but lost interest and I'm enjoying PBE eventhough my player sucks despite having good ratings. Order is VHL then PBE. May try efl again one day. 7. As soon as the world is back to somewhat normal, where is the first place you want to travel? I would love to travel to italy or Greece, travel will be very different when it happens again as we now have a kid. My parents want to take us to Disney so that's probably first place I go to
  21. 1. Warsaw is off to a good but not great start so far, how do you feel about the team performance thus far? At this point in the week I'd say it's changed to a great start as we are now first overall. Early in the week I would say we have been great but unlucky in some games as goalies have stolen some games from us. 2. How do you feel about your individual performance? I am very happy with it. I am one point out of the top 10 in scoring. I am on pace for over 30 goals this which would achieve a personal goal. 4. Who do you think is our biggest competition this year? I would say probably Helsinki or Prague would be our biggest threat to defending our European championship. 5. How important is it to upgrade Gino this year, or do you think we have a chance with no moves? It would be a pretty big addition but we have proven we still have a top offense as we lead the league in goals. However the added depth could be huge come playoffs. 6. Do you have any plans for Easter this year? Just a small gathering with parents and siblings. With covid restrictions everything is small. 7. What is your favourite chocolate egg? Cadbury's Mini eggs are the best, Hershey's eggies are just not as good as the original mini egg.
  22. The Warsaw predators offense remains the league's best so far in this season after leading the league in goals scored last season. This year throughout nine games, the predators lead the league by 7 goals. This has lead to the predators having 3 top 10 scorers with uhtred sitting a point away from top 10 status. The predators are led by Dakota lamb with 45 points which places him second overall, 6 points back of leader groovy dude. The next predator in the top 10 is Aloe Dear who sits sixth overall with 41 points. The final predator in the top 10 is Lexi glass with 40 points. Lexi glass has been shooting the puck a ton this season and he leads the league in shots with 240, which is 32 more than the next highest shooter. This season like last season the strength of the predators is their ability to put the puck in the back of the net and the European champs remain strong cup contenders after losing in the final a year ago.
  23. 1. The season has finally begun! What are your predictions for the team this year? We will win Europe again but this time we win the Cup. 2. What are your personal statistical goals for yourself this season? Another 30 goal and 80 point season. Would be great to hit 100 but more realistic goals are those. 5. New season coming off a cup finals loss, are you changing anything in your routine or keeping it all the same? Keeping it the same. We had a great season so don't want to shake things up. if we get to the finals again we will win 6. Also new season, new music? What’s that one song that has you singing along today? The country song one beer by Hardy. 7. Does your toilet roll pull from the underside or the frontside? Front side, under just seems so strange. 8. Would you be interested in the entire team shaving their head into a mohawk for team building purposes? I'd rather come up with another team building option but uhtred has gone with some similar hairstyles so why not.
