Uhtred has won a cup every other season so far in his career, which means he's won a cup in every odd season in his career so far . He began his VHLM career by signing with the clear cut founders cup favourites the Saskatoon Wild. Uhtred was willing to take a lesser roll in his first season to chase a title and he achieved that goal in season 69. The next season (70) as a member of the San Diego Marlins he was eliminated in the second round. That was to be his final season in the VHLM as he was drafted 9th overall by the New England Patriots of the VHL, the Seattle Bears. Uhtred had a decent rookie season for the bears scoring 22 goals and 26 assists. In the playoffs he helped the bears win the cup soring a goal to go with 6 assists. A contenental cup title was a great way to start a career with 2 cups on 4 seasons Uhtred has developed cup fever. Season 72 was terrible for both Uhtred and the bears as his production dropped and the bears were eliminated in just 5 games in the first round. This motivated Uhtred to work even harder in season 73. Uhtred had a great year this season scoring 43 goals and 46 assists to help the bears to a Victory Cup. A victory cup is great but what he really wanted was a continental cup. Uhtred was motivated to get it done and helped the bears with the Cup with 7 goals and 7 assists with 2 being game winners. So with cups in 69,71 and 73 Uhtred is looking to break pattern in season 74. Of course if he doesn't break the pattern in season 74 he will be entering season 75 hoping the pattern continues.

Uhtred needs to step up his play in the Continental Cup Finals. Uhtred has started off the playoffs fairly well but his level of production has dropped off recently. Uhtred has an assist in each of the first 2 games of the final but he is currently on a goal scoring drought. Uhtred’s last goal came 8 games ago as he scored his 5th goal in a 3-2 OT loss to Calgary. That goal came late in the first period as he showed some great hand eye coordination to deflect a Scott Greene shot past Lafontaine to tie the game at 1. Since that moment Uhtred has played over 237 minutes without hitting the back of the net. That is a significant amount of ice time for any player but especially an offense first type player that Uhtred is. He scored 43 goals during the regular season so he has placed some high expectations on himself. “The goal drought is very frustrating but I am still getting some great chances and sooner or later the goals will be flowing again. All that matters is that we win the cup and I will do whatever I can to make that happen. If I can score some goals we will have a great shot at winning another cup.”

The bears are currently leading the dragons 3-2 with a heat breaking loss I game 5. The bears outshot the dragons 54-36 but were unable to come out with the victory. The bears started of well as sundqvist opened the scoring with a powerplay goal which was his second of the playoffs. They bears fell apart after that as the dragons scored 4 straignt goals. The bears were outscored 3-1 by the dragons in the second period despite outshooting the dragons 23-13 in the frame. The bears spent a good amount of the period in the box which was the major factor in losing the period. The bears entered the third period down 4-2. Rookie Timothy Brown brought the bears to within one with a powerplay goal just under 3 mins into the period. That was as close as the bears would get as Aaltonen scored an empty netter with 58 seconds left to extinguish the bears comeback attempt. The bears will head to DC to try to finish off the dragons. If the bears play like they did in game 5 and manage to stay out of the box then they will have a great chance of moving on to the second round.

Uhtred is having a career year in his third season in the VHL. In 56 games this season Uhtred has 31 goals and 38 assists for a total of 69 points which would make nfl superstar Rob Gronkowski very happy. Coming into the season Uhtred had a career point total of 81 points in his 2 seasons in the VHL and he has a shot to beat that this season. With 69 points in 56 games Uhtred is on pace for about 89 points which would more than match his first two season point total. Not only is Uhtred having a great season but so are his bears teammates. The bears currently are at the top of the north American conference and they just trail Helsinki by 2 points who are atop the VHL standings. The bears defeated Helsinki 5-2 in their last game. The bears are currently the highest scoring team in the vhl and are powered by a strong blue line and powerplay. There are currently three bears defensemen in the top 10 d scoring, sundqvist, hogan and omandahl. Those blue liners have powered the bears to a league leading deadly powerplay that has a 26.07% success rate. The trio sit 1,3 and 4 in powerplay goals and are a major reason the bears are the top team in North America and second overall.

TAG THEM. @Rayzor_7 Rayz Funk, he saves our asses on the ice so maybe he can save my ass on the games show too. 15. Any predictions on the two finalist teams? Who wins the cup? The Seattle Bears over Helsinki 16. If you had to relocate a VHLM team, which would it be? Mexico City, Do Mexicans even like hockey? 19. You have to fire a commish. Which one are you tossing to the curb? If we are doing real commish and not vhl I will say Rob Manfred as hes had a brutal 2020. 20. You are hired as dictator of the league. What is the first thing you will do? Give the bears some extra cap space and draft picks for being amazing 21. Make a bold prediction for this season. Make it ballsy but make sure it happens. The bears Higan and Sudqvist finish top 2 in D scoring. Need to finish more of thier beauty feeds from them to make it happen

Uhtred is just in his 3rd VHL season so I haven't really considered what my next player will be until now. My first player was Italian as that's where my dad was born and lived until he was 10. Uhtred is british as I wanted a player from the UK as that is where my mom’s family is from. My grandmother on my mom's side grew up in Scotland to be more specific but Uhtred is really English and is not a fan of the Scots. Now that I’ve done a player from my background the next step would be a Canadian player as I am Canadian. A Canadian hockey player is so normal that I don't think I want to have a Canadian just yet. I think my next player will be similar to Uhtred and come from the Last Kingdom Series. I haven't created a physical player yet so I will probably go that route this time and that would suit any of the characters from the book/tv series. I have done a forward and a defenseman but will create another skater as I don't want to create a goalie at this time. If I go with a defenseman I may create a strong hitting that eats pucks for breakfast which is the opposite of my offensive Dman that was my first player. If I decided to go with a forward I will most likely create a power forward. Uhtred is a pure offense sniper type player so my next player definitely won't be that style. Uhtred is a winger so I may decide to go with a Center but If I want a power forward they are best if on the wing. If I chose to go with a Center it will likely be a strong two way player who can win draws. Here are a few players I may create Finan Finan is an Irishmen and is Uhtred’s closest friend. Uhtred and Finan have been through alot together and would be a great option for my next player if I stick with the Last Kingdom theme. If i go with him I would probably have him be a two way centre as Uhtred’s second in command he would be a great fit in that roll. Sihtric Sihtric is a dane and another close friend of Uhtred. I like his character but I think if I were to go with a friend of Uhtred it would be Finan as I have liked his character more and they've been through alot more together than Uhtred and Sihtric. Sihtric would be my power forward player if I decide to go with that type of player. Ragnar Ragnarson Ragnar is Uhtred’s adoptive brother and is a great candidate for a Last kingdom character. He is the son of Earl Ragnar who adopted Uhtred at a young age. Ragnar is a fearless leader and would be a great fit for a defensive defenseman roll. Ragnar is well respected and has a great following and he can be a pillar on a blue line in the future. Beocca Beocca is another major character in the book and he has been in Uhtred’s life the longest. He is a priest and that wouldn't go with my idea of a physical player. He would actually be better as player like Uhtred an offensive player who shies away from contact.

5. Should we trade @Rayzor_7 No, now that we are deep into the season he will be back to his dominant ways. I think its beter for my fantasy team if he stays here as well. 10. How do you think the Bears do this season? Finish in the top 4 and make a deep playoff run 11. What player do you think will win MVP? It looks like Gunnar is a strong possibility but hopefully a bear can make a run as we do better at this point in the season 12. What goalie will finish the best this season? Ray Funk. We got over the earlier point in the season and now is when Funk steps it up 13. What team places 1st in NA? Seattle. Can go against our team when we have a shot 14. What team places 1st in EU? Helsinki, They've been on a tear recently and have bulit a strong case

Uhtred has now surpass last seasons production after just 26 games this season. Uhtred has topped both last year's goal totals and assist totals with 17 and 18 respectively. Uhtred's 17 goals puts him tied for 5th in goal scoring. Uhtred is producing this season and the bears are at the top of the standings which is the ultimate combo for him. It's great to score alot of goals and get the points but it doesn't mean as much if we lose. It's great that I am performing at a great level and the team is as well. We have a great group here and I think we can make a great run this season. We have great players at every position and that depth is the key to our success this season. Everyone is contributing to our team wins this year. Timothy brown has made a great impact on our team even if it doesn't show up as much on the stat sheets. He has scored 2 games winning shootout goals for us and although that doesn't count in his point totals it literally won us the game. That's the strength of our team, everyone contributes to our success and they are happy to do whatever it takes to help is win. Brown has been a great addition to our team.

17. What city should get a VHL team next? why? Rome. Players will eat well in Italy and my last player was Italian so since we have a british team for uhtred, we need a team for him. 18. What team should get a VHLM team next? why? Will stay with the Italian theme and go with Naples. Naples is close to my favorite part of Italy, The Amalfi coast, love Sorrento. 22. Which Bear will be the biggest factor for the Bears this season? Rayz Funk. We need him to get out of his funk 23. What is something you miss most during these isolating, covid-19 days? Going to TFC games and travelling. We usually go somewhere in the summer, was gonna be europe again if not for covid. 24. What is the last thing you ate? Miss Vickies Original chips. If talking real meal Chicken Souvlaki with Rice 25. What is something that you crave the most? Pasta after mentioning Italy in the previous questions more specifically Cannelloni from the restaurant that invented it in Sorrento. Went there last summer so good.

Uhtred has had a much better start to the season than he did in his second year in the VHL. Last season was a major disappointment for Uhtred who saw a dramatic drop in his production. It was also a disappointment team wise as the bears were the defending Champs and were eliminated in first round. It looks like this season will be different for Uhtred from at least a personal standpoint. Through 12 games this season Uhtred has scored 12 goals and 8 Assits this season. The 12 goals puts Uhtred in a tie for second in the goal scoring race. Uhtred is now just 4 goals short of his total a season ago. Uhtred is shorting the puck alot this season as he leads the league in shots with 97. With just 12 games so far Uhtred is well on his way to top his stats from last season where he scored only 33 points after 48 in his rookie campaign. It appears that the strong performance in the wild cup has given Uhtred the confidence boost he needed. Uhtred represented Western Europe where he tied for the round robin scoring lead. The Seattle bears and Uhtred will be hoping that he can maintain this level of production as the season progresses.

Did anything surprise you? I didnt really follow it, happy to see we got a goalie for the future 4. What are your thoughts on the Bears drafting @MexicanCow123? Was happy to see us get a goalie as we will need one soon. I don't really know him but he seems great. 6. What are your plans for the upcoming weekend? Go to my parents place for a swim. Wanted to do that last weekend but we got a big storm that day. 8. If your player had to swap professional sports, what else would they play and why? As a brit it would definitely be soccer or as he would call it football. If he was a physical player rugby would be an option but hes too weak for that. 9. Does your player have any superstitions? No he doesn't believe in that stuff, my last player was Italian and he would have.

Uhtred has had a good offseason this year. He signed an extension with the Seattle Bears and had a great performance in the World cup for Western Europe. Uhtred signed a 2 year contract extension with the bears after the expansion draft thats worth 5 million. “I was extremely happy to sign the extension with the Bears, I love playing for Seattle. This deal gives me some long term security I need. I hope to pay the team back with a great season after the last one was a big disappointment.” Last year Uhtred scored 16 goals and 17 assist which was much less than his totals in his rookie season and will look to improve those totals this season. Uhtred had a great perfmance in the World Cup and will look to build upon that when the VHL resumes play. Uhtred played in his first World Cup this offseason after making the Western Europe roster. Uhtred has had some success on the international stage as he won a gold medal with Europe in the World Juniors. After such a terrible season last year Uhtred nearly scored half his point total from a season ago in the World Cup. Uhtred sat atop the world cup round robin leaderboard with Kyl Oferson of the Mercenaries with 15 points. Uhtred however had one less goal so the round robin scoring leader went to Oferson. Last season Uhtred scored just 33 points in 72 games so the world cup performance was almost half of his production from the year before. Although he had a great performance in the round robin the world cup still left a bitter taste for Uhtred as Western Europe was knocked out in round 1 of the playoffs. “It sucks to have lost in the opening playoff round again after being eliminated with the Bears in round one this past season. I really wanted to win a gold medal and book my place in the triple gold club. I am still at the beginning of my career so there's hope that I can join that exclusive club in the next world cup. I put up great numbers in the round robin but I would trade that for a gold medal in a heartbeat. With the completion of the World Cup, Uhtred is now training hard for the upcoming season. “One of the weaknesses of my game is my ability to pass the puck and that was the focus of my offseason training plan. Last season I turned way too many pucks over because I was not able to hit my open teammates with a pass. I setup a training plan that involved various passing drills and I really think it has improved my passing skills. I hope that being a better passer will make me a much more effective player this season. We have a great team here in Seattle and I am looking forward to hitting the ice with the boys at training camp this week. We had a much longer offseason than we wanted and I think that we will be well rested and ready to make a deep playoff run this season.” The bears have a tendency to start slow out the gate in recent years and then hit their stride about halfway through the season. It will be interesting to see if that remains to be the case this season.
