  1. Uhtred is on pace to have a career year in his first season as a Warsaw Predator as he looks for his third continental cup eim.. Uhtred is currently sitting sixth in league scoring with 25 games played scoring 16 goals and 23 assists. This puts uhtred on pace to score 46 goals which would surpass his previous high of 43, set in a cup winning season 73 campaign with the Bears. The 23 assists that uhtred has out on the board set him on pace to amass 66 beating his previous high by 6 assists. This means that uhtred is on pace to score 110 points which would be a nice increase from his season 74 101 point career best. Uhtred also has two shorthanded goals this season, the first of his career. " It would be great to put up career best numbers this season but what is most important is that we are winning games. We have an amazing team here and I think we are strong cup contenders this season. The pattern of winning cup contenders every other season was shattered last year and this has left my hungry for my third cup. I will do everything in my power to make that goal a reality."
  2. 1. We started 8-0 but came back down to earth with a couple losses. What do we need to do to keep winning? We need to get our offense firing on all cylinders. We have one of the best in the league and that's part of our success 3. Predict who you think will finish atop the EU and the NA divisions? Warsaw for Europe and Vancouver for NA. 4. Did you play fantasy this year? If so are you happy with your team? No for the first time since being in VHL Forgot. I wish they'd send out reminders to join. 5. If you have a great game, what do you treat yourself too afterwards? A nice Italian meal, plan either pasta or pizza pasta with a nice glass of wine. 6. Are you able to do any hobbies during the regular season or are you all hockey? I like to read historical fiction or play strategy video games such as eu4 and crusader Kings 3. 7. Are you a coffee or tea kind of person? Coffee but I don't like tea just coffee more. Also easier to make a coffee with a Nespresso.
  3. 1. Now that the offseason has finally ended, which team(s) do you most look forward to playing against? Seattle Beats, always look forward to playing and beating your former team. 2. What are your goals for this season? To hit 100 points like a couple seasons ago, want to have a career point per game and my third cup. 3. Having started 4-0-0 for a second consecutive season, what has been the main factor behind our strong start? Our offense has been firing and we have even scored some on the PK. Uhtred has his first shorties of his career 4. What was your favorite sports story of 2020? The Bills winning the division. Its always been tough to be a Bills fan but its great to finally win some playoff games. Hope they can bet Mahommes this weekend. 7. Chocolate or other sweets? I'll go with chocolate and favourite is kit kat or coffeee crisp which I dont think is sold in the US. 8. What is your favorite kind of bread? I love a good focaccia
  4. Uhtred is excited to be playing in Warsaw but he would have been happy to be a Bear for his whole career. With the Bears in a retooling mode they decided to trade away Uhtred and in doing so give him a shot at his third cup. Uhtred had a dream debut for the Predators scoring a hat trick to go along with an assist in an 8-2 Thrashing of the Prague Phantoms. “ I loved my time as a Bear and would love to have stayed there my whole career but I understand that the Bears need to do whats best for the team. I am so happy to be playing here in Warsaw, its great to be back home in Europe after spending my whole VHL career in North America. We have a great group of guys here and I think we have a great chance at winning the cup this season” Uhtred is looking to bounce back after having a significant drop in production last season. Last season, Uhtred had 7 less goals and 8 less assists than the prior season. At the tail end of last season Uhtred was flirting with a career point per game but was unable to reach that elusive mark. With the 4 point outburst in game one of the season Uhtred is now sitting at exactly a point per game in his career of 361 games.
  5. Uhtred-protect scoring
  6. 58. Can you believe we've asked another 60+ PC questions this year? I'm a stallion season after season, hey? Wow great job boss man. I can't believe another season is in the books. Uhtred doesn't have that many left. 59. What are your thoughts on @TXC returning to the league? It's great news and hope we are teammates again one day 61. The World Juniors for the VHL are coming up. Who are you rooting for and why? Europe since uhtred is an alumni. 62. What are your thoughts on the Bears season? It was shit, we should have at least won a round but expected to reach the conference finals. 68. What did you do for New Years? Nothing really, ordered Thai food, made popcorn watched some hallmark Christmas movie on Netflix. 69. What did you get for Christmas? Wine club from amazing clubs. Get 2 bottles of wine every month, got beer in past loved it. Interested to see if premium wine tastes better than the $10 ones i usually have.
  7. 47. What are your quarantine plans for Christmas? Had a small dinner with the in-laws. Only did one gathering and much smaller due to focus. 48. What do you want for Christmas? Money and some form of alcohol and i ended up getting both 49. What did you get someone for Christmas? Got my wife some bath relaxation supplies so she can unwind from dealing with work and our baby. 50. What are some things you like about Christmas? The food and spending time with family which didn't really happen this year with covid. Also our office shuts down from Christmas Eve until after new years so that's also what I look forward to. 51. What is your favorite food at Christmas? My in-laws do the Christmas Eve Italian fish meal which is Good. Didn't have dinner with on Christmas day with my parents but that's normal mashed potatoes turkey and ham. 56. How do you think we'll do in playoffs? We were terrible. I thought we had a great shot this year and this ended uhtred's everyother season cup streak.
  8. @fishy is the ranking correct for group 21? The point totals don't match the ranking
  9. 35. Your player was recently in the news. What for? Probably for archaeologist finding some ancient artifacts from his lands in bebbanburg. There's alot of important moments back in the middle ages. 36. What's something you're looking forward to? I am looking forward to Christmas eventhough it will be very different this year. At least the office is still closed so will enjoy that time off. 37. 2020 has had it's challenges. What are some good things that have happened for you? The birth of my son. Most people hate 2020 but he makes 2020 a good year. 38. What is Timothy Brown doing to make himself so good? @a_Ferk His hard work is paying off. He's always worked his ass of and is a pleasure to play with. He's a great player and it's great to see his success. 39. What are your thoughts on this Christmas' VHL Charity and Auction? I Think it's a great thing the league does and I will participate every year. I don't really care about the auction but will definately make a donation if this is an annual tradition now. 41. Ryker has 61 points in 57 games for MIA. Think he's ready for the big leagues? @Jayrad28 Yeah I think he will fit in well here. We have a great group of forwards and uhtred will be there to give his veteran advice if he wants it.
  10. Uhtred is now creeping up on a career point per game pace. As of today's uhtred has 338 points in 340 games which puts him just 2 points shy of a point per game. Uhtred can reach that mark if he has a couple few multii point games in the near future. With 67 points in 52 games uhtred has been scoring 1.29 points per game. If uhtred maintains that scoring pace he should expect to see his career points per game hit 1 in about 8 games. That said he could do it in the next two games by scoring 4 points. With such a strong forward group in Seattle this season uhtred point totals are off his career best a season ago. Uhtred scored 101 points last season but he's on pace for 92 points this season. With about three quarters of the season already in the books uhtred will need to ramp up his production in the last quarter to match his career high. If uhtred manages to do so he will definitely be at a career point per game. Uhtred will need to keep scoring at a high rate to give himself a buffer for the inevitable decline in the last season or two .
  11. Thanks @Banackock for the donation but I still wanted to make a donation. In the spirit of giving if anyone wants to use this for the donation let me know and will edit this post. claiming 2 uncapped tpe full free week raffle tickets
  12. Wow amazing news Bana
  13. 26. Have you bought any Christmas presents yet? If so, what are some? Yes, well my wife got gifts for our niece and nephew. Still need to get something for my wife. Open to suggestions 27. What are your thoughts on your players play so far this season? He's playing about as well as expected. Was hoping to be in the top 10 in scoring and so far so good 28. Why did the Bears cool down? Because to win a Cup we apparently need to have a slow period. In the past they would be the beginning of the season but now it's mid season 30. Who is the leagues MVP so far? Timothy Brown. That guy does it all and is a great teammate as well 33. What are you having for supper tonight? I had lasagna tonight. Family has been dropping off food to help with the newborn 34. Kyl Oferson wants "extras" in his next extension. This could be cars, boats, choocolate, whatever. What would you chip in? @Nykonax Some horses from uhtred's estate in bebb would be a good gift. Maybe he can throw in some swords the family acquired over the years.
  14. 7. @gregreg was traded to Toronto. When he got there he did the most Canadian thing ever. What did he do? As its the holidays now he went to Swiss chalet for dinner to get the festive special with a poutine while drinking a Canadian (horrible beer but on theme). He hit up Tim Hortons for a double double on the way home and then grabbed donuts at San Remo bakery, the best donuts in the city. 9. What is something that makes you happy? When the bears win games and cups. Uhtred playing well is great but the W's are what matters 10. What is something you like about the VHL? Watching my player develop and win games and cups. There are also a lot of great teammates who are great to talk to. 13. What are your expectations for this season for your player? I need to at least match last year's 100 points. It would be great to score 50 goals to improve on last season 41. The biggest expectation is to win the cup this year to keep Uhtred's every second season cup run going. 14. What is something you're looking forward to in the next little while? Our baby being born. I can't believe we made it to full term after my wife's hospital stay at the end of September. 15. What are your thoughts on the Bears hot start? It's amazing. It's not just a couple players that have lead us to this great start it's the whole team. We have a ton of players in the top 10 scoring and owned the plus minus category prior to today's terrible sim.
  15. The bears offense has been lighting up the VHL so far. The bears have a record of 10-1 out scoring the opposition 53-28. With such a high flying offense, it's only natural that the Bears have players leading many statistical categories. There are currently 5 bears in the top 10 scoring leaders. The five are lead by Jim Bob and Timothy Brown who have 20 points which is followed Kyl oferson and Uhtred at 18 points while Kris Rice rounds out the group at 16 points. It's not just just the points where the bears are taking over the league, they have a large goal differential which translate to owning the top 10 in plus minus. Timothy Brown is also tied for the league lead in game winning goals and with 3. Another stats category where a bear is a co-leader is powerplay goals where Uhtred is tied with General Zod with 4. It's not just on the offensive end where the bears are leading, Odin Omadahl leads the VHL in shots blocked. The bears have been extremely hot out of the gate and its not surprising to see thier players at the top of the stat leaders. The remarkable thing at this early point of the season is that the top 2 lines have production have been nearly identical and it will be interesting to see if that continues the rest of the way.
  16. 1. What are your thoughts on Vancouver winning the VHL? index Happy for them, If we dont win then i dont really care who wins, what team is a bear supposed to hate? 2. What are your thoughts on Miami winning the VHLM? index Happy that Rice got the cup. If Uhtreds alumni San Deigo cant win than having a Rice win is the next best option 3. What are your thoughts on Seattle adding Kyl Oferson ( @Nykonax) player page Hes a great acquisition and will help us win another cup. He was also a great teammate in the minors with the marlins so its great to play with him 4. What do you think about Odin Omdahl becoming Captain? Hes the perfect choice. He has been a great Bear over the years and is our leader back on the blue line 5. Do you miss Hulk Hogan? What do you think he's doing in retirement? @TXC Yes, he was a beast on the blue line and did everything to help us win. How can you not missing playing with legends like him and Breocka 6. Do you miss Berocka Sundqvist? What do you think he's doing in retirement? Yes he was great back there and an even better teammate. He is probably enjoying retirement on a beach in Australia
