  1. Uhtred is approaching some career milestones partway through his second last season of his career. Uhtred is now 3 games away from hitting 450. Uhtred needs two more goals to reach 200 and he is 36 points away from hitting 500. There's a good chance that uhtred will hit 450 games played at the same time he hits 200. "It will be great to hit 200 goals but at this point in my career the goal is to hit 250. If I can get to 30 goals this season it would put me in position to achieve that target." Said Uhtred when asked aboutnthe milestone. With 15 games played so far this season, uhtred is on pace for another 30 goal campaign. With those 15 games played, it leaves uhtred with 129 games remaining in his career. So far in his career uhtred has been scoring at a rate of 0.442 goals per game. If uhtred were to maintain that pace then he will score another 57 goals which will out at 255 for his career. That is definitely something that uhtred can pull off but his pursuit of 250 goals will likely be very close right up to his final few games of his career.
  2. Uhtred is gearing up for his second season on Warsaw which will be his second last in the VHL. His first year in Warsaw was pretty successful as the predators won the EU division but fell to Chicago in the continual cup. This was uhtreds third continental final appearance but sadly it was his first defeat. Uhtred enters the season with high confidence as the predators are expected to be one of the top European contenders this season. "We have a great group of players here in Warsaw and I think we have an excellent chance of getting to the finals again and winning it, said Uhtred. The predators strength last season was the offence with the predators leading the league in goals. The goal scoring was truly a team effort as despite leading the league in goals scored, the predators didn't manage to have anyine in the top 10 in points or goals. The predators had 4 players who scored 30 plus goals with Aloe Dear the team leader with 40. The predators did have to 2 top ten playmakers however with Havlova and Mitchell. The predators have lost Havlova to retirement but the four 30 plus goal scores remain with the predators. Predators fans will hope the high octane offence continues this season and it will end in a cup this time around.
  3. 1. Offseason didn't quite go our way this year, but our roster is complete and kept our main pieces from last year, how do you think we fair this season We still have a great team. We have a great core of players and I think we are definitely contenders again. Last year's run gave us some great experience 3. We added bluesfan and Alex Bridges to our team through the draft, were you able to welcome them to the team? Happy to see them join the team, will be great predators. 4. Personally I've been relaxed with my exercise lately, have you been able to get to the gym much during off-season? I do more cardio training around the bebbanburg estate. I do more old School training away from the gym. 5. You're hosting movie night for the team tonight, which movie do you put on to make everyone happy? I'd go with a comedy. I'd say happy Gilmore is a good one for a sports movie. If its Christmas time it would be home alone 1 or 2. 6. Also which snacks are you serving at said movie night? It would have to be popcorn, movie night would not be the same without it. Maybe some peanut m and ms too. 7. Do you play any instruments? Nope I have no rythm or beat so can't play anything

  10. 1. At the end of it all, we had a fantastic season and made history in the playoffs (first ever traverse sweep) what went right this year? (Glass half fullful) We had a great group of players and good depth. We never gave up and get working hard to fight back in series but eventually you will lose an elimination game. 2. However; we just came up short! What went wrong in the finals for Warsaw? (Glass half empty) Our offense was strong and we unfortunately went up against a hot goalie. The sim decided it didn't want us to win after winning all those elimination games. 3. Already some moves have been made this off season due to cap problems, do you still like our chances next year? Yes I think we still have a great team and will be a big threat in Europe 4. One of those moves brought in Venus Thightrap’s rights, great friends of Dear and Glass, both who signed once seeing her brought in. Are you excited at the chance of adding the caliber of player Venus is? Yes it's always great to play with elite talent. Need to win another cup before retirement after next season. Too bad he didn't sign with us, we will have to make him regret his decision. 6. Are you playing in the World Cup? If not which team are you cheering for Yes a quarter finals exit with Europe. Uhtred may have just one more triple gold shot in his retirement season 8. If you had to choose the “BIG 3” of fruits, what would they be and why? Apples, strawberry are my two favourites so will go with that. They can be used in various dishes so they are versatile. The third I will say oranges as I live orange juice. I am pretty sure olives are a fruit so that's my next pick, with an Italian background how can I not love them.
  11. Im in and would be interested in managing
  12. Uhtred is off to his third cup final of his career with the predators winning game 7 vs Moscow in a tight series. The predators head into the final with 6 wins when facing elimination. Uhtred was having a very quiet and disappointing playoffs until the final 2 games of the Moscow series. Uhtred exploded for 6 points in th final 2 games which is almost double his total in the previous 12 games. Uhtred scored both Warsaw goals in the 2-1game 6 victory where Krishna was the star of the show putting up 46 saves for the victory. This performance must have given uhtred a shot of confidence as he had a 4 people int night in game 7, a goal with three assists. "I was not happy with my performance throughout most of the playoffs and I really felt I was letting the team down. The brought me to Warsaw to provide valuable veteran experience and all I did was play like crap the last half of the season and into the playoffs. I will work hard to make sure my play doesn't drop in the final. I am fired up to win my third cup and bring the first championship to Warsaw.
  13. Yeah after 6 points in the last 2 games was pretty silent before
  14. Better late than never for uhtred to Show up
  15. 1. Regular season finished! Are you happy with your performance this year? It was ok, got of to a very hot start but then cooled down over the season. I'd say an average season so not too bad. 2. We were unable to get that 1st position locked up by just 2 points, how do we get over that going into the first round? We just have to keep working hard and throwing pucks at the net. We are at our best when we dictate the tempo. 3. Playoffs! What are you doing extra to make sure we succeed this year? Making sure to give it my all every shift. I am not a physical player but being on the team has elevated that part of my game a bit 4. Give yourself a pat on the back, we were the highest scoring team since season 64. What had us firing on all gears? We have a great depth on this team and if someone has an off game another guy will make up for it. 5. Are you gonna party like Brady and Gronk when we win the cup this year? Hell yeah, if they cup falls into the water on a toss so be it. 7. Speaking of Disneyland, do you like amusement parks and which is your favourite? They are ok. I will say Disney world is my favourite, was supposed to go there with my wife last March, we have a baby now so it will be a much different trip when we can travel again.
  16. Uhtred is into the second half of his career with season 6 in the books. As the season comes to a close Uhtred has career highs in hits and penalty minutes this season. With 4 games to go uhtred has spent 47 minutes in the sin bin and it almost accounts for half of his career total of 106 minutes. He has also ammased 79 hits thus far, 27 above his previous season high posted during his sophomore season. Uhtred even got into 2 fights in a period in a recent game, his second and thure of the season which was unheard of in years past. Uhtred had his first career fight last season and now is up to 4 in his career after going fight less in his first 4 seasons. Last season uhtred only has the be mior penalty in addition to his fighting major which the two previous seasons he has one minor in business each. With this increased fights in the later stage if his career it seems that uhtred is becoming a grumpy old man.
  17. 1. As we gear up for the postseason, who do you see as our biggest competition and why? I'll saw Moscow as they are slightly ahead of us right now. 3. Who has been the team MVP this season and why? Mitchell. He is second in team scoring and crushes people and eats pucks every game. 4. What is your favorite fruit? Watermelon in the summer is the best. I also like strawberry but will go with watermelon. 6. Which position group do you feel most confident in on the team as the postseason draws near? Our forward have been great so I'll say that. Our offense is what makes us so strong. 7. What do you think is the most underrated sport excluding hockey? I will say soccer is underrated in North America for sure. 8. What do you think is the most overrated sport? I'll go with baseball. I rarely watch a game unless I'm at it but I still will follow jays news. People say soccer is boring but love baseball.
  18. I had my dream vacation last season with my wife to unwind and get ready to move to new city in his home continent. That trip was to Africa as I always wanted to go on safari. I didn't know anything about Africa so I used an agency called rhino Africa which I would highly recommend. You let them know what you want to see and give them a budget and they design a great vacation. The journey began with a flight from Lisbon to Maputo Mozambique before catching a flight to Cape Town. The city is very poor and while landing you could see that it's very much a developing country. After a couple hours it was off to cape Town where the vacation begins. Day 1. We woke up after a crazy wind Storm where it sounded like the windows were gonna break at any moment. Day one was a cape point tour. The day was spent going to cape point which has beautiful views of the ocean and it's where the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet. The wind was still intense but it was beautiful. The next stop was to a place called Simon's Town to see a historic little town but the highlight is seeing the African penguins that live at a park in this small town. Was great to see the little guys running around. This was the last stop on the tour and it was back to the hotel for some rest and then dinner. Day 2 We had planned to visit tabletop mountain but it was closed because the high winds still in the area. We instead went down to explore the waterfront area where a nice lunch was consumed on the pier. We then walked back to the hotel which is something you can only do during daylight in Cape town. Day 3 Today we went to the wine region of Cape town which is Stellenbosch. We were driven to a couple different wineries where we got to do some wine tasting. The wines were very delicious and we discovered some south African wines like a red in Pinotage and a white in Chenin Blanc. I am not much of a white wine person but I enjoyed that one. We had lunch at another winery where we sat on a patio high up in the hills with a great view of wine country. The day ended being dropped off at our hotel. Day 4 This was more of a relaxing day after some days of touring. Each hotel room had it's own little pool so we spent the day by relaxing by the pool to get ready for the upcoming safari adventure Day 5 Today is is an exciting one as we were off to the airport to fly to the game reserve. The first leg of the journey was taking a flight to a small regional airport where we would board a tiny six seat plane that will take us to the safari lodge. Its the first time in such a small plane and you can feel all the movements in it. Our pilots told us that they are basically Uber of the skies as they go from air strip to airstrip picking up and dropping off passengers. We were the third stop on the flight so we had many takeoffs and landings in the tiny plane. Once we got to our airstrip we suddenly took off just before hitting the the ground as animal veered into the runway leaving our pilots pissed at the guy on the ground whose job it was to keep them away. Once we finally landed we got on a safari vehicle that took us to the lodge where we checked into our lodge. We had a couple hours until our first safari so we had lunch and relaxed. At 430 we gethered in the lobby had a drink before setting of for Safari. Going on safari is amazing and you never know what you will see. We saw some elephants a rhino some warthogs that day. At about sunset they park the range rover and we have a snack and a drink. Once it gets dark it's back to the lodge for dinner. Day 6 The day starts at about 4am as you wake up and get ready for the 430 safari departure. The morning is the best chance to see things as it's cooler. This morning we were able to see some lions on the hunt. We were a decent amount away from the actual kill but we could see how they work together to take down the prey. The guide said he can see them eating but it was hard for us to spot with the the binoculars. Later on that same morning we were able to watch a leopard try to catch some prey. It was just lying in wait and waiting for the prey to get closer so it could pounce on it. One got really close but then spotted the leopard and called out a warning. The others still paid no attention thinking it was a false call but once another animal spotted the leopard they took off. Those were the highlights of the morning and back to the lodge for lunch and to rest before the late afternoon safari. The evening safari was another great one, we got to see some hyenas and their young babies. Although the adults are ugly the babies are much better looking. We also got to see lions having a drink at the pond after sundown. The Lions are so used to the vehicles they don't feel threatened and come pretty close and was great to see them close up. We then returned for a special dinner with our guide Harley and got to year some great stories. Once dinner was over he escorted us back to our room as we always need someone to walk us to our room at night. Day 7 Today is our final full day at the safari and it was another great one. You might think it's all the same when going out to see the animals but the excitement is not knowing what you will find. After our morning drive we had a safari on foot which ended with a breakfast in the bush. We didn't see much while walking as the animals feel threatened by people outside the vehicles. That said the guide has a rifle at the ready just in case . In the afternoon drive, we got to see some cheetahs which are a very rare sight apparently. Harley was so excited as it had been weeks since he last spotted some cheetahs. We got to see a mother with her 2 Cubs just relaxing in the late day sun. Our day ended with a barbecue dinner out in the bush where you can hear all the animals while eating. Day 8 We were scheduled to depart for Zimbabwe in the afternoon but in the morning we got to have our final safari. The highlight of the day was seeing some African wild dogs which are also a rare sight as there aren't too many of them left. Leaving the safari was kind of sad but we still had one more to go and we still had the Victoria falls devils pool to see. We arrived in Zimbabwe and had a late lunch at the hotel overlooking a nature reserve. In the late afternoon we went on a river boat cruise which was great and the highlight was seeing a group of elephants in the river playing and crossing the river. I didn't know that elephants enjoyed the water until seeing them in the river. Day 9 Today we are going to devils pool at Victoria falls. Victoria falls across the border from Zimbabwe in Zambia and is one of the largest waterfalls in th world. At first I was a little hesitant about doing it but I was glad that we did it, after all if a hunch of seniors in the promotional video can do it, so can I. You start by walking over a bunch of rocks until you get the part of the falls called the devils pool. The water was warm and calm and you approach the waiting area for your turn to go to the edge of the falls. We were the first pair to go and the guide brought us towards the edge and said to make sure you stay away from a certain point as it's very dangerous. We then approach the falls and look down to amazing site. It feels like you are at the edge of the world and when you look down you can see a double rainbow created by the falls. As we are doing this one of the guides is taking pictures and filming us and they are like mountain goats in how they can navigate those slippery steep rocks. When we got out of the water we walked to another point along the falls where you get both a great view of how large the falls are as well as seeing people at the spot where we just came from and it looks crazy. We then made it back to Zimbabwe for lunch to spend the afternoon by the pool. For dinner went to a buffet and drum show where they perform traditional dances and music while they eat. There is an interactive part of the show where they teach you how to play a song and it showed me why I am a hockey player and not a musician. Day 10 Today we departed for Botswana for our final safari of the Trip. This safari was different from the south African safari as it was a more open grassland instead of the bushland in South African. Here we saw much larger groups of elephants and giraffes. We also got to see a large group of baboons with a lot of youngsters in it. It was fun to watch them play and get up to mischief. We saw many of the same animals as in South Africa but was great to see them in a different type of landscape. Day 11 The highlight of today was a river cruise. We were on the boat with just one other couple so it was almost like a private tour. Being on the water you can see a much of aquatic birds plus some crocodiles. There was one point where a group of the Crocs was feasting on an elephant carcass. In Africa nothing goes to waste, some kind of animal will devour everything some bones. It was fascinating to see how the Crocs eat by hitting and twisting off a piece. As we were coasting down the river our engine malfunctioned so we were just drifting along the river for a while as the guide called for help. Eventually help came and they got the engine to work again and we finished the trip. Day 12 Today was the final day of the safari. Today we got to see some lions resting and drinking by the river. Unfortunately between this safari and the one in South Africa we were unable to see any fully grown males but just a couple adolescents with partially grown manes. The highlight of the day was after dinner while video chatting with family back home w group of elephants came to our pool for a drink. We were in the middle of the call when we hear a loud noise and look outside and see a family of elephants having a drink. There were both young and old elephants drinking making alot of noise. It was crazy to look out the sliding door and seeing a giant elephants ass. When we woke up the best morning we discover they drank the whole pool although it's a tiny one where basically enough room for two people to sit or stand in. Day 13 The day was spend traveling to Johannesburg our final stop on the trip. We got there late in the day and after the safaris we had a meal at the hotel and had an early night. Day 14 This was our final day of the trip. The day was spent going to the cradle of mankind which is a cave where many early human beings were discovered fully preserved in the tarpits in the area. We want into a cave where some of these remains were discovered. At one point deep in the cave they turned off the lights so you can experience what total darkness is like. There no light down there and you could see your hand in front of your face. The last stop on the tour was to the apartheid museum which was sad to see how brutal humans can be to one another. After the museum it was off to the airport for the long flight back home to Europe. It was the trip of a lifetime and will be in our memories forever. Based on my real life trip. If you ever want to go on safari one day when this pandemic is over, look up Rhino Africa as they put together a trip of a lifetime for us. 2176 words. 4 week claim. 2/14 2/21 2/28 3/7
  19. Uhtred had a dream return to Seattle with a firs star performance with 2 goals and an assist against his former team including the game winning goal. Although Uhtred left on good terms it still must feel great to have that type of performance against his former teammates. It sure took Uhtred awhile to get going but he eventually caught fire in the third period scoring the three points in a span of 2 minutes and 17 seconds after going pointless in the first 2 frames. Uhtred scored the eventual game winning goal at 7:34 of the final frame as he deflected a Muffbeav shot after being crushed by former linemate Timothy Brown moments before. Uhtred second goal of the night came just a minute later as he buried a beautify saucer pass from Latrell Mitchel into the top corner. Uhtreds third and final point of the night was the reverse of the previous goal. Uhtred assisted Latrell Mitchell powerplay goal where who picked up his own shot that missed the net but luckily bounced right back to him and he put it in the back of the net, The goal gave the predators a 6-3 lead which would be the final goal of the night.
  20. 1. Recently two teams announced they are selling big. Would you add to our team or keep things going with the success we’ve had? No we are playing great and not sure we should mess with our chemistry 2. We are 1st in the EU but it’s a close battle. Who do you think is our biggest competition? I think Moscow is our biggest threat. They have some great players 3. How do you feel about your players performance thus far this season? It's been good. It's been a very streaky season so fire with some okay periods with some on fire sims. Dropped off a career season high pace from earlier this season. 5. It’s currently raining where I live, where it only rains a handful of times a year. Do you love or hate the rain? I don't mind it, better than snow at this time of the year. In summer just hate rain on weekends. 6. Would you rather a piece of pie or cake? Which kind? I'd say a piece of chocolate cake would be best but a good apple pie is a close second. 7. Are you a hat person? If so which style of hat ? No not really, only wear one for weather reasons. Baseball cap if golfing which isn't often . In winter a toque normally a TFC one.
  21. Uhtred is on pace to have a career year in his first season as a Warsaw Predator as he looks for his third continental cup championship. Uhtred is currently sitting sixth in league scoring with 25 games played scoring 16 goals and 23 assists. This puts uhtred on pace to score 46 goals which would surpass his previous high of 43, set in a cup winning season 73 campaign with the Bears. The 23 assists that uhtred has out on the board set him on pace to amass 66 beating his previous high by 6 assists. This means that uhtred is on pace to score 110 points which would be a nice increase from his season 74 101 point career best. Uhtred also has two shorthanded goals this season, the first of his career. " It would be great to put up career best numbers this season but what is most important is that we are winning games. We have an amazing team here and I think we are strong cup contenders this season. The pattern of winning cup contenders every other season was shattered last year and this has left my hungry for my third cup. I will do everything in my power to make that goal a reality."
