  1. The formatting could've looked nicer. The overall story is great!
  2. I think it could've been formatted differently, but overall, great job!
  3. Your grammar isn’t amazing, but it’s okay. Great job though!
  4. I felt that each individual section wasn’t descriptive enough. Keep up the great work though!
  5. Great podcast! I think that it could’ve been more thought out, but overall, great job, man.
  6. Great podcast! I think that you could maybe do like a collaboration with someone.
  7. (NHL-related analysis takes quite a lot of time. Likes are highly appreciated and show me that you’re enjoying my content. You can like my content at the bottom! If you want specific content, comment down below and I’ll try to write something for you. Thank you!) (This piece of content was requested by @Beaviss) Elias Pettersson was drafted 5th overall by the Vancouver Canucks in the 2017 NHL Draft. He is a Swedish professional ice hockey player who is hyped to be an amazing player in the NHL. He is a two-way forward who is very smart with the puck. His puck skills are phenomenal. He can accelerate very fast. Pettersson can be compared to Nathan MacKinnon. They are both fast and flashy. Pettersson doesn’t have a huge physical presence as he hasn’t quite filled his body. He is 6’2, but doesn’t have a ton of muscle mass. If he can work on building more muscle, he can be a player other players are afraid of. We should expect him to either be on the first line or second line depending on how well he does at training camp and in the preseason games. If he shows that he is NHL-ready, he could possibly get the opportunity to play with Brock Boeser who really showed up last season. (Comment down below other prospects you want to see me talk about!)
  8. I’d be dumbfounded if the Lightning don’t win the Stanley Cup within 5 seasons. Such a deep team....hopefully Vasilevskiy can stay consistent throughout the season. Cal Foote is supposed to be decent as well.
  9. Obviously more defensive prospects are nice, but we are pretty good on them for now. We need more offensive presence as we have the top line and not a solidified second line.
  10. Eyy! Fellow Avalanche fan! I’d love Kakko because he reminds me of Landeskog in a way. I wouldn’t mind Hughes though.
  11. I will write about the top prospects in another topic! Stay tuned!
  12. Yeah, I know that is one of the main reasons, but they could’ve asked for more instead of basically giving Girard to us for peanuts.
  13. (Please give my NHL analysis content a thumbs up at the bottom if you enjoy it. Do not give it a thumbs up out of pity if you do not enjoy it. Quality NHL analysis takes quite a while and a thumbs up is appreciated.) The 2018-2019 NHL season is about to start and there are a few teams that SHOULD be in the playoffs and make a strong push for the Stanley Cup. Some of those “already” playoffs contenders are the Winnipeg Jets, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Toronto Maple Leafs. We will analyze those 3 teams so keep reading! Winnipeg Jets - A few years ago, the Winnipeg Jets were struggling. They didn’t have an obvious number one goaltender. Though, last season, Connor Hellybuyck rose to the occasion and became an eventual Vezina Trophy finalist. The Jets also have an above average defensive core that includes Dustin Byfuglien and Jacob Trouba. We all know how amazing the Jets’ offensive core is. They did lose Paul Stastny who played on the first power play unit with Mark Schiefele and Blake Wheeler. Losing Paul Stastny did not hinder them in a big way because they still have Patrik Laine, Mark Schiefele, Blake Wheeler, Nikolai Ehlers, and Kyle Connor, wow! Will their cap space hinder them in a way where they won’t be able to sign all of their offensive stars? Tampa Bay Lightning - The Tampa Bay Lightning made the Cup final a few years ago. They did not get a playoff spot two years ago. Last season, the Lightning killed it, but eventually lost to the eventual Stanley Cup champions, the Washington Capitals. It was pretty devastating considering how stacked of a team they are. Their offense includes Nikita Kucherov, Steven Stamkos, and rising star, Brayden Point. We all know about their star defenseman, Victor Hedman! They’re expected to make the playoffs and make a push for the Cup next season. Will Andrei Vasilevskiy (Vezina trophy finalist last season) be as good as he was last year? Toronto Maple Leafs - The Toronto Maple Leafs recently acquired John Tavares in the free agency period, and they’re expect to make a strong run in the playoffs. John Tavares’ contract was big as it was a 7 by 11 contract. They now have Auston Matthews and John Tavares as their two star players. Their defensive core isn’t amazing and John Tavares’ contract may hurt TOR’s chances of finding another defenseman. They have a number one goaltender in Frederick Andersen, but will he be able to be a consistent number one? (Comment down below if you want me to analyze different teams! 14. We FLEECED the Senators and sort of Nashville. We got OTT’s first rounder, Shane Bowers, Vladislav Kamenev, and Samuel Girard for Matt Duchene. NSH let go of Girard way too easily.
  15. Idk, I don’t see them being a bottom 5. I think they have enough where they can get around. Duchene, Stone, and Karlsson. There are teams like Montreal, Vancouver, Detroit, and et cetera that are worse. As an Avalanche fan, I hope OTT is a bottom 3.
  16. The Ottawa Senators went from having a deep playoff run to being one of the worst teams in the league last season. How bad will the Senators be this year? Earlier last Summer, there was a scandal between Erik Karlsson and Hoffman’s girlfriend. The scandal was about Hoffman’s girlfriend who was accused of cyber bullying Erik Karlsson’s wife’s unborn baby. There were talks of Erik Karlsson potentially being traded to another team. Karlsson was obviously not traded as he is still with the team. Will Erik Karlsson be traded during the regular due to the unstable position the Senators are in? If Erik Karlsson is traded, the Senators lose their franchise defenseman and are left in a hard place. We obviously don’t know what the Sens would get in return, but they wouldn’t get a full package as Karlsson would most likely be a rental to another team. If they get rid of Karlsson, they won’t have much more talent. We then come to the question of, is Ottawa really THAT bad? Well, there are teams like Vancouver and Detroit. Vancouver has a lot of prospects coming up, and Brock Boeser is supposed to evolve into a much better player than last year. Detroit has Zadina and Dylan Larkin signed long-term. Detroit recently signed Jonathan Bernier to fill that role of a starting goaltender. I think if OTT keeps Karlsson, they won’t be bottom 5. We will have to wait and see!
  17. I'll do Franchise Cornerstone.
  18. Wow! This was over the top descriptive and just really awesome. I like how you did NHL comparables as that made your media spot even more creative. I think the formatting could’ve been nicer, but you did a great job overall. Keep up the great work, bud!
  19. I think this wasn’t descriptive enough and definitely just a lot more room for improvement. As you progress as a writer on this website, your writing skills will improve drastically. I still really enjoyed your bio and I hope to see you write more.
  20. You changed from event to the other a bit too quickly. The transitions could have been more smooth. I think adding a fun thing like buying yourself a new car was a great idea! Overall, great job, bud.
  21. Review: You went over the top in your player biography! It’s so cool how you moved to Las Vegas and then got a chance to play for the Las Vegas Aces. It’s also formatted really well! Great job, bud.
  22. Nathan MacKinnon woke up early, ready for the day. He did his daily routine of brushing his teeth, doing his hair, and eating a good breakfast meal that comprised of bacon and eggs. Nate received an email right after he was done eating that signified that he should be getting his first paycheck as a VHLM ice hockey player. Nate called his parents with exciting news and they praised him heavily because they were so proud of him as a person. After he was done talking to his parents, he went on a morning jog for a little bit of exercise. He then decided to go to the gym his apartment provides for the people who stay in the apartment complex. Nate worked mostly on his calf muscles by doing weighted leg lifts. After his quick workout, he went back to his home and took a shower. Nate saw the mail carrier come by and ran right outside to go see what he had. Nate picked up the shortly awaited paycheck and other various mail that didn’t really matter. He went back into his apartment to open up the package the paycheck was in. The paycheck said, “Welcome to the VHLM, this is just one of the paychecks you will receive while playing in the league.” Nate was ecstatic and decided he wanted to go buy a new car. He knew it was somewhat of an impulse buy, but his current car was an old 2010 Toyota Camry. Nate didn’t want to show up to practice in a “low-tier” car. The next day, Nate drove over to the used car dealership to see if he could get a steal on a luxury car. He talked to a sales associate about what he wanted. The sales associate then guided him towards all of the luxury vehicles that were for sale. Nate’s eye was on the Maserati Ghibli. The Ghibli was one of the more modest Maseratis you could get. Since it was used, it was only around 45,000. Nate knew that since he was currently living somewhat frugally, he could afford the Maserati. He did all the paperwork and drove home his new Maserati. Nate’s day concluded with a swish of wine to celebrate his new investment.
  23. I worked really hard on this over the weekend!
