Effort: 2/2 - Yeah, enough done here. Look: 2.75/3 - Torn on this one...I love the stock work and text...but the brushing is a bit too intense over the render's face. If I could see Kopitar's lovely face then this would've been 6/6. Creativity: 1/1 - Definitely unique! Nah it's cool, nice aesthetic just a bit too intense with the brushing. Total: 5.75/6

Effort: 2/2 - Slow down! Love all the work you've been putting out recently. Look: 3/3 - So...text. I'd try something like Arial, size 12 or 14 and in all-caps. Keep it simple, just red on the blue background, and not rotated. Other than that, this is gorgeous. Good lighting, love the red-blue contrast. Maybe a little over-topazed? Try to avoid getting the cartoony look and use black and white soft brushes on Soft Light to create dynamics on the render. Creativity: 1/1 - Nice use of strokes, good composition. Look: 2.5/3 - What really helps this sig is the really cool stock work. Great sig apart from the text. I don't know what I'd do without grading, the graphics forum isn't as active as it used to be, getting quality cnc is tough.

Yeah, I was in the VHL quite early, and striving for a 6 was what kept me active. There's pros and cons to a more difficult grading scale, and I don't know which side I'm on.

That used to be our rubric, I can't remember when or why we changed it.

It's definitely a topic worth discussing, but I don't know if this is the place to do it.

Is this an issue? Have you been complained to?
