Smith’s 2nd week in Halifax was an exciting one. Although he spent all his time on the bench he has heard rumors from his team mates and staff that he will be starting the next 4 games. Smith finally got a chance while on the bench to study not only how his defensive men play but how other team’s skater’s play. He was seen on the bench taking notes of player’s tendencies, shot selection, weaknesses, and how often they pass on, 2 on 1 or 3 on 1 situation. Although Halifax may have won 3 out of their 4 games ‘1st on the 21st’ got a moment to sit down with him: “I think we’re playing great out there” Smith said “Winning may be a part of the game but what’s more important is our team’s chemistry. These guys have been spending countless hours in the practice ice learning how each person on the roster plays.” We then asked him how he felt about his teammate/competition Cole Mertz’s performance: “He played hard, and did his job as the team’s goalie, getting 3 wins for us. He’s currently the 2nd best goalie in the VHLM and I hope to be either the 1st or 3rd.” Smith replied. That’s all the time we have, thank you for tuning in to this week’s report of the 1st on 21st

This banner is fantastic! Having all the teams logos at the bottom shows how big we are as a league, and we only plan on getting bigger. The player graphics are smooth as the ice they skate on. Amazing work!

Image for the player and background work really well with the effects you have. Only complaint I have is that the font is a little hard to read since it's scattered. Other than that, good work.

I love this expansion team idea! The logo is simple and not trying to do too much and the jerseys fit the theme of the team pretty good. Great work Cole.

Simple banner with a straight forward point of representing the VHL. It's not too flashy, but it's not too dull either as it sits perfectly in that balance. Logo is front and center of the banner which is good for catching the eyes of players and fans. Good work on the banner, it gets my vote.

Graphic could use some work. Personally I'd have just stuck with one font style for the whole sig instead of two. While it's a neat idea to have a living sig that represents stats, it's a good take. Only thing I would suggest is taking (Finding) a natural photo of your player (googled) and using that as your base to start instead of finding different arenas and players and trying to put them together.

This graphic is a much needed change from the stock on ice graphics. It's good to see players in their casual outfits, and just being a person outside the jersey. The background works really well with the font you picked. All around a great sig.

This banner looks nice! The only thing I would suggest is to darken the text so it's easier to read. That's the only complaint I have. Other than that it should be used on the site. Good work.
