  5. Smirnov. I may do it again in a bit.
  6. Just my links and normal stuff! Happened with both players but 2nd try worked for Kovy but not Smirnov
  7. Beautiful, and then 2nd has a 75% chance of winning 2nd or is my memory from reading the post slightly confused?
  8. 2nd time trying to bulk claim TPE for the week and 2nd time I've got that error with a blank page, only to refresh and have to try again. Little annoying and frustrating. Not going to try again. More of a suggestive complaint to see if there's an issue or it's just shit luck - in which case, I'll just be claiming it later this week.
  9. Next season is going to be a challenging one for the Bears. While last season was big because it was their first draft heading into their rebuild and a couple of big names were on the board and seemingly most teams were back and forth - the Bears move into this off-season needing to add a couple pieces that are going to push them forward. Right now, they have Kovalev, Sterling and Thompson laying down the fort with CHAT somewhere but also nowhere to be seen. Where art thou little one? Shame. Shame. Shame, Cersei. Next season, the team will be once again entering the draft with a lotto pick, and likely top 2 pick (as I think you can't fall further than 2nd if you do? Idk. I'm sure you can but hey) and they'll also be adding Oslo Storms Vyacheslav Smirnov to their roster which will largely help down the middle and finish off their second line. Question will be, do they go defensive and take the BPA in that position who also happens to be their own GM? Or do they continue taking forwards, bolstering up their prowess on the front? My guess is they dibble and dabble in the idea of both and strictly for the purpose of activity. Also may a trade or two and maybe, if they're lucky, a couple free agent signings. While the team does seem far off, a few moves and they could be right there nipping at the door. I say next season is an off one for Seattle, but watch for them to be going on the next one after. +2 Smirnov
  10. 1. Thoughts on the season? 2. What moves do you feel the Bears need to make to contend? 3. Thoughts on the VHLM expansion? What city do you hope gets a team? 4. What are you focusing on to train next? 5. What are your expectations to cap off the year? @Beketov +1 Smirnov
  11. @Will 1. What are your thoughts on the VHL turning 11 years old not too long ago? 2. Thoughts on your season this year? 3. Moving forward from a slow year, what are you building/training towards next season? 4. Do you feel the Bears will be stronger next season? 5. What moves do you feel the Bears need to make to push forward? +1 Kovalchuk
  12. While the Oslo Storm aren't doing terrible or bad and are in fact doing a pretty great job this season, the Yukon Rush are making it look much easier. Harding and Smith lead the way for the Oslo Storm this season and along with them, 5 others are above a point per game which we see as very successful. For my self, Kovalchuk is doing pretty damn good - running along with 17 goals and 52 points through the 63 games. He's holding his own on the blue line and it's pretty impressive as he's largely an offensive minded d-man. Another thing which pleases me right now is that fact that his defensive partner is also one of the 7 players at a PPG or better and currently sits at 63 points through 63 games. They're combined +/- sits at +39, which is pretty good too. With 9 games remaining, I really hope Kovalchuk turns the lights on, though I expect him o kind of keep going as he is. My guess is he finished the year with 58 points while hopefully hitting 20 goals on the year! +2 Kovalchuk
  13. 11 11 double double My favourite or most memorable moments on this site are tough to pull together. There's a lot I've enjoyed over the years. Winning the cup with Seattle finally was nice - winning GMoTY and being the first Bears GM to do so in such an incredibly long time was another feel good moment (all the work and effort finally paid off and felt recognized), my time with Bratislava was amazing and a lot of fun. Always great members in the LR and 3 finals in 5 years and 3 GMoTY awards.
