1. You know, I have been saying that for a while, it is tough to tell the coach what to do, but when you look at the numbers, it shows, that I should be playing more. I do understand that he wants to split the starts, it is what I went into Ottawa knowing. We are 9-9 when I am in net and 3-10 when I am not. I mean, I do not want to be last, I am young, I know I am, but the numbers show. It is tough to get in a rhythm when you are only starting half of the games. I always want to be in net, but I trust what the Coach does. I want to be out there every damn game, man. 2. All of them *laughs*. This has really been a brutal season. I have given up 56 goals this season, that is less than ideal for anyone. I know I have had over 450 shots my way and playing every other game, but I want to be way better than that. I need to be way better than that. I really have a tough time saying I am where I need to be. I am giving up way too much right now, I need to be better. 3. I have to say the Fruit Punch. I am not sure what about it, but I just love that damn stuff. I could drink that all the time. It is great for electrolytes as well as for thirst. I would love to recommend it to anyone. 4. All of it. I am someone that is so hard on myself. I need to work hard. I am giving up 3+ goals per game, I want that under 3 by the end of the season. I need to work on everything. With goaltending, it all kind of goes together. If you are giving up too many rebounds, maybe you have to be quicker, maybe you have to anticipate, it could be a lot of different things. 5. You are going to do that to me, man? I am not going to pick one, I would not hear the end of it. The people in the locker room have been great, coach has been great. There is nothing to complain about, honestly.

+10 Finn Davison

Finn Davison has played 13 games for the Ottawa Lynx this year. He has not played the last set of games after citing rest as a reason. He was someone that always had the issue of endurance which was mentioned in his scouting report, well here it is coming into play. JB Rift has been the starter then. So far, Davison has a 6-7 record with a 2.86 GAA with a save percentage of .889%. We asked Davison about the start of the season, this is what he had to say: Finn Davison will look to go between the pipes for Ottawa's next few games. We have not seen the lineup card, so it is tough to see what will be next for the UK Goaltender. He has his eyes forward towards the VHL draft, but first thing is first, this rookie season. This is a fun one to follow, tune into his story to find out.

I mean, I was looking for the best chance of playing. I was always looking for somewhere to play where I can have a chance to start. No one had an opportunity for me to play really outright. I talked to a couple teams, but I definitely want to play. I feel like I have too much talent to be sitting on the bench wasting it, so I wanted to play. It was tough to find a team that wanted me to play for them to start. We all have to start somewhere, don't we? Do I want to be a backup? I would not lie to say to you that I want to be on the bench. Of course, I want to start. I think that would be my top goal, I will get to be a starter, I will not stop until I get there. I would have to say Alexander Pepper. He is a recent draftee that made his way onto a team right away. Honestly, I respect that, and that's what I want from myself. I would say that he is someone I look up to. I know he has a huge future which I want to say about myself as well. It is getting there. With every exciting prospect and everyone that plays in the big leagues, the better it gets. Yes, I will be on the UK team. I can promise you that. I am from there, so to play for my country is my goal. It would honestly be a dream to play for my country.

1. I really love the Quebec City team. My god is that sleak. I love Huskies, so that is what I would say the best logo easily. I will be very honest with you, I have no idea what a Meute is if I did not look at the team info and see that it was a Wolfpack. I love the city, the location, everything. I would say that this would be the top one for me. This would be it by far. 2. The VHLM is tough, I really love the look of the Ottawa Lynx, but I love the name, logo, and concept for the Las Vegas Aces. I love the color scheme, the logo, everything about it. I like the idea of a team being in LV as well, so that is definitely what I would say would be my favorite. 3. I do not know enough to know what to change. I really would have to be here longer to know what it would be, get back to me in like 6 months and I will be able to tell you more. 4. I really like the community, and I have to say the portal is great. It makes the process of updating painless, which is so much better. I would say that everything including the stats, the portal, and the display is absolutely fantastic. I have to say that it is one of my favorite things across sim leagues. 5. Team success, without question. I very much want to be someone that wins, I do not care if I have to come off the bench, but obviously I prefer starting. I want to win, first and foremost. I want to win.

PLAYER INFORMATION Player Name: Finn Davison Age: 18 Position: G Height: 75 in. Weight: 176 lbs. Birthplace: United Kingdom CHILDHOOD Finn Davison, growing up in the United Kingdom, grew up in a little bit of a broken household. He had two siblings, a brother and a sister that grew up in the same type of household. His father was an automotive engineer while his mom really did not do too much for work. That really made it tough on Finn Davison. Finn was moving from house to house due to the fact that his mom really decided not to work. An engineer made a decent amount of money, but his mom would just go spend it all. They would end up moving from apartment to apartment to apartment just to try to find a suitable home for children. As a result, Davison would go from school to school, it really was hard to make friends. Davison really only found one place in which he loved to go as his house was some place that he really did not enjoy going to. However, when he stepped on the ice and suited up, and strapped on the skates, it was time. Everything that happened inside his house or in his personal life really was gone. There was nothing that mattered, there was nothing that bothered him. It was just him and the ice, that really grew up to be his best friend. Finn Davison during his youth years playing for his travel team. HIGH SCHOOL YEARS Similarly to his childhood, Davison grew up going from High School to High School to High School as again, his home life did not improve at all. In fact, he played for four different high schools as they kept moving around. Despite everything, Davison started in net everywhere he went. He was always one of the most intriguing prospects on the team, and he was always the leader. Coaches were always impressed by this guy, as he kept everything out of his mind. For such a chaotic life, he was so calm and collected. He was someone that was a great mentor for a lot of the younger players despite only being on the team for a season. He kept in touch with his teammates as he grew together with them. They came more interested in his life, they were really what molded him to where he was today. After high school, he graduated at the young age of 18 years old. There was no doubt that he would go somewhere, he decided that Professional Hockey was going to be the best option for him and his career. Finn Davison during his youth years playing for his high school team. RELATIONSHIP Through everything, there was really one person that stuck by his side through everything, his girlfriend, April. His parents did not think it was a great idea to move out with her, so they did not allow him to do so. She was the rock really for him, she kept him balanced. Now, she did move with him to Ottawa, a far move from London, England. They are living together with the juicy 1.5 million dollars that the Ottawa Lynx paid him this year. She looks past everything, they are looking to see all of North America as obviously neither of them have been able to see much. They have not had the money, so now that they have some money to spend, they plan on seeing all of Canada in the off-season as well as look to go to the United States as well very soon. WHERE FROM HERE? Finn Davison has had a mediocre year for the Ottawa Lynx thus far. He was thrown into the starting role despite having to play for that position right out of camp. There were no guarantees, but he was given the starting spot right away. Given that JB Rift was the starter coming into the season, him getting the starting role was something that was a little bit of a surprise to everyone involved. You can call him a bit of an underdog, but that is something that has always been a story for Davison. He was the unlikely story, he was the unlikely person that will get the starting job. Everyone doubts him, everyone will be disappointed. Where is it going from here? OVERVIEW OF THE VHL Finn Davison has many thoughts on all of the teams of the VHL. He will look at location, potential, and logos. This is what he thinks about all of the different teams and what that reminds him of in his life. Calgary: He is not a huge fan of horses. He has rode on them once or twice in his life, so this is what his initial thought was. Now, when you look at the history of Calgary, it is insane. He would love to be part of a team with a ton of legacy, so he would not oppose to that. HC Davos: When you look at Davos, this is something that he would be close to his family. He is only 12.5 hours from his house in London, England. For someone that has not really moved away, it would be nice to be closer, but would it be ideal given everything that has happened in his life? He likes the logo, he likes the colors, he is not opposed to going here, fantastic team. Helsinki: Helsinki is a little further than Davos is. Now, the logo, he loves the blue color, but the logo is not appealing to him. He thinks of trojans which is funny since he loves the movie 300, but that is really all he knows about that. He is not a huge history guy. New York: He is not a huge fan of the name of the team. He has never been to New York, so it is tough to say what he thinks about the location. He is not a huge fan of the amount of people in New York and how everyone is close together, but that is it. Quebec City: When he looks at logos, this is his number one option. Quebec City is absolutely his top option and the most favorable team. He has a Husky named Brady himself, so this is absolutely great since this logo reminds him of the puppy. He did take the puppy with him to Ottawa, he does not go anywhere without him. That is something people know, he tries to bring him to games, but people do not usually like that. Riga: He is not the biggest fan of this logo. Orange is not his favorite color, but it is a good season for that. Orange is great for Halloween, but Riga is not ideal. He does not mind the team itself, but the logo really does not click for him. Seattle: First fact about Davison, he hates Bears. He absolutely is afraid of them. Toronto: Toronto is going to be close to where he is now, so this is ideal. The logo is sleek and nice, he does not know much about the history, but he is a fan of that.

Review: Awesome, job, I actually did not mind the quote too much, I think you incorporating the stats and actual thoughts from your player was well done. You have done awesome thus far this season. I am hoping I can keep it up as well. Overall, I loved reading this!

Review: This is awesome man, I love the coding, the formatting, this was fantastic. Checking and Strength as a negative for a defenseman is something definitely you will want to work on, but there will always be negatives as a young defenseman. You have been great as a brand ambassador, overall, great write-up for this. I enjoyed reading it.

Review: It is funny because we seem to write a lot alike. When you look at the formatting from the Centering to bolding, we do look a lot alike. I wish there was a picture at the top, but that is just being nit-picky. You definitely seem like you are going to be a hell of a player when you look at being compared to guys like Kopitar and Bergeron. 5th round just gives the reason to prove everyone wrong. Overall, awesome job.

Review: For, I really enjoyed the overall look of this. I wish there was a picture or something at the top, but that is just me being picky and a visual person. You can tell that you know about hockey a bunch by your review (if not, then you damn well fooled me). I enjoyed the bolding as well as your write-ups, Good job!

With the start of the VHLM Season starting to get clearer and clearer, United Kingdom Goaltender, Finn Davison is getting more and more excited to jump on the ice. He has finally had a chance to settle in and mingle with his teammates, but now is go time. We caught up with Finn Davison before his first game, this is what he had to say. With the lineup cards not out yet, we have no idea who the starter for Ottawa will be. Everyone thought JB would be the starter, but will the new guy come in and surprise? The time is very soon, so we will see.
