    1. we're absolutely killing it, I'm so hyped for the playoffs.
    2. I feel like Vegas making the playoffs with only 3 real players this season is the biggest shock.
    3. I don't think any team is capable of dissapointing me, I usually expect the Ms landscape to change constantly.
    4. Favorite dish has to be Thai Peppered Steak.
    5. I'm going to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando. so I'm pshyched
    6. The Lightning are starting a little slow, the loss to buffalo stung, but we're making our comeback.

I really enjoyed this one, think you did a great job. You can tell off the jump the amount of work you put into it with laying out the different stats, but the forward-looking analysis of what it means for the rest of the season lived up to it as well. The article flowed well from beginning to end, and I think it was laid out well with the intro, stats, comparison, then look forward. The presentation was great too with the colored/bolded headings, and I always appreciate the little detail of tagging the people you're talking about. All in all it made me interested to read about other matchups in the series even as someone who doesn't have a vested interest in the VHLM, which is the best thing I can say about a piece.

These two teams are absolutely crazy good this season, both on pace to break some VHLM records for the season. With only one point separating these two teams the question comes to mind, will these teams meet in the cup finals? It's absolutely a question worth asking as these teams are both top of their respective conferences and outperforming every other team in the league. For reference Ottawa is currently in first with 50 points, Yukon is in 2nd with 49, and third place in the league is Houston with 39 points. There's some space between these teams and the rest for sure, and possibly more space to come as these teams continue to dominate in their respective conferences. Lets take a look at these two teams and compare them in depth, something I haven't committed to doing in quite a long time. So without further ado lets get this show on the road and compare TPE totals, and then an in-depth roster analysis for both of these juggernauts.

    Ottawa Lynx: 3005 TPA Total
Ottawa is stacked when it comes to their overall TPA values, though only two players are maxed out at 200.
Ottawa has a TPA total of 1481 on offense, 724 on Defense and 200 on goalies.
Top players on this team stat wise include, Austin Towbaker @Domino, Juice Box @Siddhus, Finn Davis @M1nT, and The Red Menace @Me.
Austin Towbaker has 33 goals and 35 assists for 68 points in 27 games.
Juice Box has 29 goals and 38 assists for 67 points in 27 games.
Finn Davis has 15 goals and 51 assists for 66 assists in 27 games.
The Red Menace is currently 25-2-0 with a .903 SV% and a 2.66 GAA with two total shutouts in 27 games.

    Yukon Rush: 2014 TPA Total
Yukon has a very solid TPA total, and has more maxed out players than Ottawa with four total.
Yukon has a TPA total of 1161, 570 on defense, and 83 on goalies.
Top players on this team stat wise include, Kyosti Karjalainen @UnkemptCL4PTP, Harkat Mulds @hylands, Hulk Hogan 2 @TXC and Thomas Price @Thunderidge
Kyosti Karjalainen has 33 goals and 31 assists for 64 points in 27 games.
Harkat Mulds has 23 goals and 38 assists for 61 points in 27 games.
Hulk Hogan 2 has 14 goals and 40 assists for a total of 54, and 47 shots blocked in 27 games.
Thomas Price is 24-2-1 with a .874 SV% and a 3.51 GAA with one shutout in 27 games.

When we compare some of these stats together we have two different stories that seem to appear. Ottawas story is that of expert drafting and team building by none other than @16z. With three first round picks this season and three next season, 16z has set Ottawa up to be good not just this season, but next season as well. Ottawa absolutely has an expert GM handling the team, and I wouldn't be surprised to see 16z expertly coach a VHLE or VHL team in the near future as he's sure to draw some kind of attention to himself as time goes on. We also see the story of expert goaltending in Ottawa with a well rounded offense and defense.

What we see in Yukon is similar but also worlds apart, we see a team with much less human players on defense and a 83 TPA goalie leading his team to victory. Yukon being this good isn't because of their numbers, and while having 1161 TPA on offense is nothing to sneeze at, their defense is thin comparatively. But having said that the offense more than makes up for the defensive numbers, 186 goals for in 27 games is absolutely phenomenal. But let's also take a look at this young stud Thomas Price, who if I'm being honest deserves to be mentioned in the Benoit Devereux trophy talks. the 83 TPA wonder is absolutely stunning the league with leading this team to victory. Under normal circumstances this would be impressive, but given how dominate Yukon has been this feat is absolutely enormous.

That all being said, Yukon and Ottawa are absolutely the favorites to make it to the final and the most likely matchup, though the STHS is known to make everyone who utters a prediction eat shit. I look forward to seeing how these teams continue to play for the rest of the season, but making a prediction I'd have to say that if either of these teams were to run out of steam it would have to be Yukon as their numbers are just inferior to some other teams out there, and as other players on other teams begin to catch up in the TPA department we could see a completely different story begin to emerge. Anyways I hope you all enjoyed my article, and I'd love some feedback if you could tell me if maybe you'd want some more of these matchup article. Well I hear my dad coming home from the bar, I'd better grab my helmet and jockstrap. Stay warm and stay icy, Seacrest out.

    Review: wow, this is great.
I love the fact that it isn't just a text, but you added also stats like for exemple how many tpes in total has each team, really cool.
I have nothing to say about where you can train more or just put more attention in.
In the end this gets a solid 9 out of a 10, good job mate, keep it up

If you've been following the VHLM you would know that Ottawa holds a firm grip on the Eastern Conference, and currently holds first place in the entire league. The Lynx are currently looking at a potential historical season if this pace is kept up. And while it's likely they slow down a bit as the season continues and players on other teams cap out, I think this team has a damn good chance to make history. Lets take a look at this teams roster and start looking at what makes this group run the way it does.

So starting off on Offense, we have Center Finn Davis @M1nT 174 TPE with 11 goals and 31 assists for a total of 42 points in merely 17 games. Davis is absolutely on fire right now and shows no signs of slowing down, Davis is currently on pace to eclipse 172 points this season if this continues how it is. Next up we have Austin Towbaker @Domino 170 TPE with 24 goals and 23 assists for a total of 47 points. Towbaker is an absolute STUD, I mean who doesn't like a player who's on pace to score nearly 200 points? This man is a damn powerhouse, on pace for 101 goals this season, which would be absolutely incredible, it's also good to note that Austin had a +/- of -40 last season and has turned that round to a +26 in 17 games this season, which is absolutely NUTTY. I'll take a look at one more forward and then I'll move on to the defensive core of this team. We have Left Winger Gunnarwolfe Vomacka @Wolfe 155 TPE with 18 goals and 13 assists for a total of 31 points in 17 games, also on pace for 131 points this season Gunnarwolfe is someone I played with in Philly last season and can say has improved drastically, the mans always fun to play with and never gives up. So it's easy to see why this teams offense is popping off so hard with big names like these, but what about the defense?

The first person to look at Ottawa's success on defense is Juice Box @Siddhus202 TPE, 190 TPA with 15 goals and 29 assists for 44 points and a +22. Juice is on pace to score 186 points this season if he is to continue this way. An absolute beast coming in at 6'8 and 250 lbs this defenseman will knock you off the puck so hard that you fly into the third row. Next up we have Arno Blugers @bukss_a 163 TPE with 3 goals and 20 assists for 23 points and a +7. The mans solid as hell, he blocks shots, plays the power play really well and just overall has one of the best playstyles in the league right now and it shows. And finally for our defense we're going to take a look at the superstar goalie; The Red Menace. Menace is 190 TPE, 16-1-0, .905 SV% and a 2.59 GAA, with two shutouts this season. Menace has been living up to his reputation in Russia as he plays in North America for his second season. Last season Menace had some amazing stats as well posting 7-3-1 in 12 games as a backup for Philly! The Red Menace shows no signs of slowing down, you can't run from him, you can't avoid him, and you can't beat him. The Red Menace is inevitable. (Thanos Snap)

    3. We'll win for sure, but I haven't been paying attention to the other leagues! I'm just focused on the Minor league rn but I'll take a shot in the dark, Toronto win the VHL, and Istanbul wins the E.
    4. Probably Austin! the man is absolutely on fire right now and on pace to destroy some records.

If you're reading this and don't play for the Lynx, then you know what it's like to lose. Fortunately for the players on the Lynx, they just don't seem to know how to lose right now. Ottawa is putting up staggering numbers for a team that was third worst in the league just last season, and that's due to the incredible efforts from GM @16zwho put together this team by being the smartest GM leading up to the draft. Having three picks early in the first round worked well to his advantage taking only the cream of the crop, and picking up superstars. I can't stress enough how proud I am of this team just stacking dubs like it's nothing. I know the winning will likely slow down as some of the other players on other teams develop through the season, but even when things get a bit slower I'll still be super proud of this amazing team. And 16z, good job man, you're like actually putting together a team that could make history! Anyways I hear my dad coming home from the bar, I'd better run and grab my helmet and jockstrap. NickSunderbruch got a reaction from Tendy in Potential Benoit Devereux Candidates
So today we're going to take a look at a few goalies and their stats and tell you who I think are the potential candidates for the Benoit Devereux Trophy, and why I think they are. So before we go any further I have to say that I am incredibly biased towards The Red Menace, who happens to be the best goalie in the VHLM at the moment, and happens to be my own player. So take this list with a grain of salt, and lets begin.

    1. The Red Menace 182 TPE
Menace has played 9 games this season, with a record of 8-1-0, and a .917 SV% and a 2.78 GAA, with 2 shutouts so far this season.
Menace came into the league last season as a free agent and was picked up by Philly and quickly became a houshold name after he started 12 games, with a record of 7-3-1, and a GAA of 2.34. The Red Menace is currently the leader in wins among goalies and out of starting goalies has the highest SV%. Menace is on fire with Ottawa this year and could very well earn himself some hardware and even a cup.

    2. Pekka Grubauer 184 TPE @Tendy
Pekka plays for Vegas, and has played 9 games with a record of 7-2, and a .902 SV%, and a 3.08 GAA, with 285 shots faced this season.
Grubauer started in season 78 going 4-4 in 8 games and in season 79 went 18-10-2, not too shabby for the VHLM. This goalkeeper is a superstar in Vegas, and makes his presence known with high profile saves and some amazing game awareness.

    3. Thomas Price 69 TPE @Thunderidge
The 69 TPE wonder (nice), this player is HOT at the start of the season, a big reason may also be the defense in front of him, and that's why I've put him at number three even though he's lost less games than Grubauer. Price is 7-1-0 to start off the season and has a .890 SV% and a 3.01 GAA. Price plays for Yukon and Is an absolute unit, who will no doubt develop even further as the season continues. I do however think his stat line will eventually level off and begin to look more like that of a rookie, I'm thinking that as the league begins to develop midway into the season and more players reach the 250 cap that we'll see Price have a dip in his numbers. However my predictions don't make this player any less impressive and that's why he's on my list, the man only has 69 TPE, and is already performing like a top goalie in the league.

So that about does it for my list of potential Benoit Devereux Trophy candidates. The league is in a really interesting place at the moment and has some amazing talent really pulling to the front of the league for the world to see. I understand putting Menace at number one currently is a bit biased on my end, however I really do think he's currently performing better than the rest of the competition and has some real potential to become not just the Benoit Devereux Trophy winner, but also perhaps the league MVP if he continues to play the way he has been all season. Anyways I think I hear my dad coming home from the bar, I'd better grab my helmet and jockstrap. Stay warm and stay Icey, Seacrest out.

NickSunderbruch got a reaction from Spartan in The Red Menace, First Overall
For those who have been following the Red Menace and his career thus far, it probably comes as no surprise that he was drafted first overall in the VHLM draft. But for those of you who know nothing of this Russian goaltending prodigy, you're in for a treat as he's likely the most prolific goaltending prospect we've ever seen enter the league. In his first season in the minor league, he played a total of 12 games, with a record of 7-3-1 and a .906 sv%, and a 2.34 GAA. For someone who came in the league at 80 TPE, that's really not that bad at all.

But if The Red Menace wants to continue to win games and play to his fullest potential as a starter then he will have to start being a max earner and cap out as soon as he possibly can. There's some speculation around the league about whether he will live up to his potential or if he'll end up like many other players before him. Ottawa picked Menace first overall in this years draft along with two other first round picks. Ottawa wants a cup this season, and @16zknows that picking up this stud goalie was a great choice.

In addition to being a prolific goalie, The Red Menace also enjoys being part of his local community, doing charity work for wherever he decides to play, and does clothes and food drives for children. So picking Menace in the draft was not only a good game decision for Ottawa but also a good humane decision. And I know this article doesn't make much sense, and that's probably because I have no idea what I should be writing as its been a good bit since I've written a good Media Spot that I could be proud of. So many apologies if this article turns out terrible, and incomprehensible.

Though I would like to point out that The Red Menace is currently working on making sure his rebound control is the best it possibly can be, as he blames his bad rebound control for his 1-6 record in the World Juniors with team Asia. The Red Menace didn't play the way he wanted to in that tournament, and for sure wants to change the way he's handled the game thus far. And if The Red Menace is to become an all star goalie then it's likely that he'll have to change a few things up and continue to grow at a pace that he has yet to accomplish. So the road ahead of this young player is going to be tough, but it'll be paved with his hard work and his unquenchable thirst to win.

I can only imagine how this player is going to turn out, but with a lot of hard work and dedication I'm sure The Red Menace can become a goalie that's remembered forever by the league. The goal is the Hall of Fame, nothing less. I hope you all enjoyed my article today, and I think I hear my dad coming home from the bar, I'd better go grab my helmet and jock strap.
